Comida increíble, personal y experiencia completa. Precioso pequeño lugar. ¡Regresaremos!

Always excellent - the nut chicken is sublime. There’s a great range of food options and flavours and it serves up the best Korean food in Glasgow.

This used to be our fave place for Korean food and a regular haunt but it’s obviously and very sadly changed hands. The menu is reduced and with a different chef go to dishes now taste completely different and are presented in a somewhat sloppy fashion for example the Korean take on katsu is more like salad cream on breaded chicken whereas before the sauce had a delicious coconutty flavour. Korean craft beer (Jeju) has also vanished from the menu and the lovely staff there before appear to have moved on. A disappointing experience and can pretty safely say will not be back. 🥲

A regular haunt for us. Consistently good food, always bustling, and staff are always lovely despite appearing to never stop. Faves include the delicious chicken dish always on the specials menu(name escapes me), the Bulgogi Beef and of course the Bibimbap…do not miss out on the dumplings which are phenomenally good or the Jeju 🍻 wish could buy this in shops it’s so good!

Came here for something slightly different. Menu had quite a good range to suit our tastes but seemed quite pricey. Food was really nice and fresh: I had the salmon sashimi and rice, and boyfriend had breaded chicken and rice.Only complaints would be the restaurant was very cramped: could barely push our chairs out because we were so close to the next table. We also got a windowsill seat, which gave us a nice view, but the surface was very sticky and felt unclean.

Tasty and interesting variety of Korean food. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff & service. Small restaurant and popular so well worth booking beforehand. A favourite for get togethers!

My partner and I visited this restaurant and as we are of different ethnicity, this may have contributed in no service. We entered the premise and one of the staff members, instead of leading us to our table, pointed us to the far table which was far too small considering my partner is 6'4" but we sat down (uncomfortably may I add) and proceeded to read through the menu. We decided on what to order but still waiting to be approached for our drinks order. Having sat for 10 minutes, we were still waiting for our drinks order to be taken, never mind the food order! The restaurant was in no way busy but only had a couple of tables occupied and around 6 staff members standing about chatting and laughing. They clearly didn't want our business so we decided to get up and leave and take our business elsewhere where it was deserved. Never again will we revisit this "restaurant"!

I wanted to dine at the restaurant with a friend. Only two tables were occupied but the staff refused to serve us. I suspect it might have been homophobia. When I challenged the staff and told them I'm a journalist and I'll write about it, "suddenly" they "found" a table. I'd *never* dine there out of principle even though I'm a great fan of Korean food and unfortunately they're the only one in Glasgow. I recommend you boycott these homophobes too.

Having had no problems on my first visit to Shilla, I decided to return. Sadly, the food was completely disappointing. I ordered the beef bibimbap and having had this traditional dish elsewhere, I realise just how poor Shilla's version is. Compared to authentic tasting Bibimbap, the korean chilli paste taste was not there! Maybe I am lucky enough to have had a good version, but I do feel I would have been disappointed even being new to the dish as it just lacked taste. Another dish was a Chef's special of pork belly, what came out was a massive portion of mostly fat. I'm aware pork belly is very fatty but most pieces (out of a massive dish of just "meat" no vegetables) were ENTIRELY fat... truly! Myself and my boyfriend won't be returning and we both felt sick for the rest of the day when remembering how much fat we had witnessed on our plate. Just more care in the quality of the ingredients is all it takes!

Excellent food - and I'm normally rather restrained. The staff are virtually all Korean (contrary to some prior comments) and service was attentive if perhaps not perfectly coordinated in getting all mains out at the same time. Diverse menu with some real gems such as the belly pork with side "sauces" and the cold udon soup (supposed to be cold). Can't speak for the sushi as I avoid that for environmental reasons. But well worth a visit. Not taking plastic at the moment!

Tried this place after being recommended from a regular, Me and a mate had a donner kebab and an achari chicken karahi, both were amazing. Highly recommend.
