The Crescent in Glasgow City

Super friendly bar staff, excellent selection of cocktails and beers, ample room to sit and enjoy a drink (even on a Saturday). Lovely bar.

The staff were rude and accused one of my friends of being sick in the toilet which she had not been. The manager came up to her and told her she smelt of sick and asked her to leave. She was sober and had only two drinks. He was racially profiling her It was humiliating and disgusting

Popped in here for a drink after dinner. We both loved the decor of the bar, very trendy, good selection of drinks and was relatively busy. We would return again if it was warmer, I had to keep my long puffa coat on and also the music was not to our taste. I might be 58 but I'm not ready quite yet to sit and listen to obscure boring jazz type music for a whole night. This however may suit others but get the heating on!

Absolutely looved my cocktails at Crescent, the place smells amazing and the staff is really cute and nice.

Came from a wee drink after dinner and had some leftover pizza and we sat outside. I had two slices left and went to take a bite of one when the woman came outside and spoke to me like a peasant. I completely understand if this wasn’t okay and coming out to explain but she spoke to me so unnecessarily rude that we were so embarrassed and I almost cried. Will not return as the staff aren’t nice at all.

Amazing range of drinks and very knowledgeable bar staff. Very quiet (was a Tuesday night) but very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Didn’t eat but the drinks were great! The bar itself is very clean and comfy - would recommend for a drink. Don’t expect Wetherspoons prices - or clientele! This is much better.

So, I came today to have a drink, a little after 12. I was 'greeted' by a curt woman who was putting chairs outside, who said I could have a drink. Fine, that was all I was after. I went in to the bar, where I approached a menu. I opened it to find that all there was a QR code. I asked the girl behind the bar for an actual menu. She huffed and said that all they had was the QR code. I have to confess that I don't know how those work and I have never had a menu only have one before. I struggled for a minute and then left. 'Service' was rude.

Tried to order a round refreshments after patiently waiting. Only to be told by bar staff they were having a conversation. Not the best customer service to be honest. Left and went to pub across road and got served with a smile 😎

We went for a couple of cocktails on a Saturday evening. The venue is stunning, however the place lacks a good atmosphere. When we walked in we were greeted by a host/ waiter who said she would find us a table. She never returned so after standing there a while, we just took a seat at the bar. We were not acknowledged for about ten minutes and as we were about to leave, someone took our order. The cocktails were very enjoyable however the flat atmosphere and poor service took away from the experience. I wouldn’t go back in a hurry..

This Argyle Street bar is lively and fun. The window seats are a great place to enjoy a spot of people watching whilst enjoying a drink

We had this booked weeks ago, we were returning as we had a great meal prior to lockdown. It was so disappointing (especially after paying a £40 deposit to book). First of all we were sat at a couple of tiny bar tables you would sit at to have drinks, not enough room to put our plates of food on. Staff were unable to move us so just brought another small table to add on. The menu is reduced and is more like small plates to have with drinks. (Ordering small plates meant there was more on the table and therefore 3 of the small tables was nearly not big enough!) No individual plates were brought out so would be the norm with tapas so we had to eat off the plates the food was already on. The food was not great. The salt and chilli chips were basically chips with far too much salt on, no flavour. The beef bao bun was inedible it was so salty. Really disappointed and won’t be returning.

Been here before and it was a great. However on the first night after lockdown when the place was half full and they had enough staff to wait a table each, we waited over half an hour for a drink before we left. Not one person received a drink in that time. Table service at its very worst.

Booked an outside table for 4 for drinks. Our friends arrived and were greeted by a rude staff member who didn’t bother showing them to their table, or going through how to order drinks. When myself and my partner arrived 15 minutes later our friends still hadn’t been asked if they wanted a drink. After asking to be served the waitress begrudgingly took our order. When it started to rain we politely asked if there was any tables inside and we got a blunt reply. We were only asking... To top it off the toilets absolutely stunk of bins. Right beside the kitchen aswell. Will not be back.

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon with my husband. Beautiful surroundings with clever lighting. Staff seemed very pleasant. Drinks good. Only criticism is it is on the expensive side. Would return though and would recommend in this lovely area of Glasgow
