The best restaurants in East Renfrewshire Glasgow and Surrounding

This is the last time I ordered something here. I waited for my order for two (!) hours. I received a call from the delivery guy who said he had been waiting at the restaurant for 45 minutes. I had to call the restaurant and they didn't even apologize or tell me when the food would be ready or why it was taking so long. The toastie and wrap were soft and flattened, as if they had been sat on. The cookie was hot and melted in the bag. Just annoyed from waiting and no pleasure from eating.

This cafe is a total rip off with expensive inferior food. On entering there is a large covered counter with an array of cakes, all without prices. I asked the assistant at the counter how much one particular cake was and she replied she had no idea but I would find out at the till !!!!! Really - you think I'm going to do that!! would it be too much trouble to have a price on each of the shelves? Afterwards I found that seemingly cakes were FROM £3, gateau £4 and an extra £1.50 for cream. FROM does not specify an exact cost does it? To only find out how much your order costs when you get to pay at the till is unacceptable and quite ridiculous. Two of my friends decided to have the homemade soup (either lentil or tomato)but unfortunately both were awful, cold, glutinous and inedible. So called 'homemade' was probably from a cheap catering pack, add to water and voila Homemade. I therefore decided not to have anything to eat and had a cup of tea. The cost for 2 uneaten soups, 2 lukewarm lattes and 1 tea was almost £22. Wish we had gone to Caulders for some proper food instead. Definitely would never return and have already warned some of my friends to avoid and go instead to the Boatyard Cafe in the park or any other place.

Went to Popeyes today with family for lunch. Service was super. Very clean restaurant. Staff were really lovely too. Would recommend.

Tried for the first time yesterday and it will be the last time. Waited 53 minutes for food to arrive and it was cold and very greasy when it came. Not a single bit of veg in site (not even a bit of lettuce on the burger). Kids were bored, tired and very hungry by time food arrived, seems they serve drive throughs first! Worst meal ever!!!

I booked online and took one of the many deals available. We paid £60 for 3 large pizza's and 3 sides - which was not bad for feeding 6 of us. I'd arranged it in advance, but then when guests were going to be delayed, called up and put the delivery time back by 30 minutes. This was not a problem. The food was delivered on time, was fantastic, and all was good. 5 stars all the way.

Very disappointed to report that I attempted to visit this restaurant with friends. Having checked the website I noted that it was not necessary to book a table on a Sunday so we just turned up. To our surprise and disappntment, it was shut! This is a fairly new business so they need to ensure their website information matches that on the door!!!

I tried the smoked sausage supper with a single scampi. I normally go to other places, so I was curious how this place compared. The staff were nice and friendly. The options for different ways to have haddock and glutton free options are interesting. I found the chips good but the scampi was processed and little different from chicken nuggets. This was disappointing. The smoked sausage is really just a large hot dog. Again this was a bit disappointing. I may give the fish a go but I won’t be doing the scampi or sausage again.

I don't know who set this location up, but they seem to have added it as a restaurant rather than a petrol station with snacks etc. on offer as most do. It's a fine place to get fuel, but nothing is different to any other local station!

I’ve been ordering from here for years, I quite like the salt & chilli chicken

Sauce watery, salt and chilli chips bland with barely any seasoning, no dip with spring rolls which were tasteless

Pedimos 2 pequeños pescados con papas fritas por teléfono y nos dijeron que estarían listos en 10 minutos. Los recogimos dentro de la escala de tiempo y condujimos los 8 minutos de regreso a nuestra casa. ¡Eran porciones de tamaño infantil! ¡en cada caja había un trozo de pescado flaco que le servía a un niño! Las patatas estaban frías y empapadas. ¡No volverás!

No bacon sold in this store! I am happy that you are giving the option of Halal meats but removing bacon is wrong not inclusive for ALL. We will not be back!

The consistency of the chicken I had was like bread that has been soaked in water over night, soggy and mushy - absolutely disgusting! Staff and customers stand outside and just throw their doubts right on the pavement.
