Food was delicious, hot on arrival and the curry sauce was nice and thick, not watered down like some other restaurants. Will order from here again.

Took a long time to come and the chicken was tough as old boots. Great Wall is so hit and miss, last time I’ll take the gamble. Shame Golden Valley doesn’t deliver up to mine some nights.

This js my first Chinese takeaway in 2 years. Very tasty. Hot food and delivered promptly.

The Great Wall of china food to be the go to. It was delicious, hot and flavourful. Tonight a have to say awful. There was a burnt taste to the sauce and even the fried rice. It was cold and the chips soggy. Chicken balls hard but no crunch. Feel like there’s either a new chef that doesn’t know the kitchen or just reusing off food. Was disappointed.

1st time we've used this take away, so glad we did the food was amazing & delivered bang on time, and roasting hot, highly recommend. We'll be back for sure , I'll pass on details too family &friends. Thank you.👍

Food was dire. Greasy. Not hot enough. Rubbery chips. Binned.

the food was over cooked and dry, the sweet and sour sauce was very thick and Jelly like, salt and chilli potato scones were just half a potato in salt and chilli while the salt and chilli mozzarella sticks were tiny and couldn't even tell it was mozzarella in them

Got the Pim Poon platter, some was burnt, most was over cooked and dry, the sweet and sour sauce was more like a jelly, the salt and chilli potato scones were in reality an undercooked half of potato in batter, the salt and chilli mozzarella was tiny, dry and unrecognisable as cheese! On the bright side the prawn toast was decent!

Has to be the worst lemon chicken we have tasted. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Only complaint was we asked for extra onions in the curry and they sent it with no onions. Apart from that it was great

The beef of fillet in mandarin sauce for about 16 quid tasted like a well done extremely fatty rump beef from Lidl in uncle Ben's sweet & sour sauce. And the fillet of beef in curry sauce was definitely not a beef fillet. It was 100% the sirloin steak. Extremely tough and absolutely no chance a beef of fillet can get that tough. Thinking people won't know what they order or something? About 32 quid for two curries (70 quid for everything for 2 ppl) and lying about it being a certain cut of beef

Chicken and mushroom snack box was bland. Seems like a plain chicken breast was oven cooked then chopped and a sauce was poured over it, no seasoning and was very dry. Prawn toast was overcooked. Peking ribs were great.

Great Wall has been our go to take away since we moved to the area 4 years ago. Never had a bad meal, it’s always on time and whenever I’ve had to phone to question something, anyone I’ve spoken to has been so helpful.

It came 45minutes early I was not home and my chicken was green

The food came 45 minutes early which was great. It was nice and hot and delicious. we didn't really like the seaweed but the rest was great, the veg chow mein tasted nice and fresh and the chips were nice and hot. the portions are very large so I recommend not ordering a lot if its just a few people eating.

Shredded crispy chicken with fruity sweet chilli sauce was really delicious, not much chilli in so if you like it mild then a good choice, also chicken served in sauce so the batter not that crispy either, as with a lot of these dishes are served that way but again still tasted great. Perhaps ask for separate sauce if you prefer. Would order again, might try beef next time.

Food was late. Took 2.5hours to arrive. It came cold and tasted stale.

Chicken was tough and overcooked (salt and chilly chicken). So disappointing. The curry sauce was a yellow gelatine. Used to be ok, but won’t be back after tonight. So disappointing. Rice and noodles were ok. Was 2nd choice on the night, now won’t be an option.

Was absolutely disgusting curry sauce was like paste, rice was all moulded together and the noodles were solid. The whole lot was freezing. I’ve ordered from here loads and will never order from here again after tonight

I've ordered my meal back of six this evening, waited as time specific but not received anything. Next thing it says my order has been delivered which it hasn't. Still waiting.

Spicy chips and chicken strips were undercooked and unspiced. Had to cook them for a further 15/20 mins before I could serve them

Order was short, order was wrong. Three times to call for update. Finally arrived with no hint of apology. Lady on desk was pleasant and offered compensation for missing items. Probably won’t go back.

Curry was not bad the ribs however were absolutely rotten, eight quid for a box of bitesize grizzle

arrived without curry sauce and they said they were sending new one with, the new one arrived but with NO curry sauce again.. couldn't be bothered phoning again so ate it cause was absolutely starving but didn't enjoy it really.

I was amazed that my food was delivered within 15 minutes of ordering. I've never had an order delivered that quickly before. I was expecting to have to wait an hour for it to arrive so full marks for service. First time trying this place as they had vegetarian quorn options. Food was good although the chips could have been better as they were a bit dry but I would definitely try the food here again.

I paid £16 for salt and chilli fillet of beef and I’m pretty sure all I was sent was crispy beef there is not a chance this was worth £16 waste of money if I didn’t pay cash I’d be requesting a refund

WORLDs Greatest chicken Noodle Soup!!! So Good. The chicken curry is also second to none.

Often order from quite far away and the food is always roasting and delicious. By far our favourite Chinese takeaway. I'm fussy about the texture of chicken and its always really nice. Would definitely recommend.

Fancied Dim Sum and the mixed box was delicious, as are the large portion of prawn crackers. Duck and plum sauce come in separate containers. Duck was a bit chewy, not as tender as I like but good sized portion and I did eat it all.

Got a birthday takeaway for my son’s birthday. We couldn’t eat it as there was so much salt. Avoid at all cost!

Everything taste ls okay but it was all soggy, wontons were double fried (or over fried), fried rice and chowmein both dry not even a little sauce. Average quality

Food was generally good. The only blemish was the kids chicken balls and chips....overcooked and dry. The Honey and Chilli Ribs were excellent. Delivery time was spot on and the driver was very polite.

Always delivered on time or well before it's expected! Curry sauce is too die for and the duck udon is unreal. Quality of all food is amazing and this is most definitely my favourite Chinese of all time

Spicy Mixed Vegetable Chow Mein wasn't spicy. It still tasted fine like the normal kind, but I did pay more for the spicy one. Everything else was very good - The Sweet & Sour King Prawns in Batter were delicious. Also, I guess this is a nitpick of mine, but this was a £30 order so I was expecting it to come with free prawn crackers. I understand not all restaurants give these - I just wish they would clearly state somewhere whether they do or not, instead of leaving customers wondering if they should add them to the order themselves.

First time trying great wall of China and I'm quite disappointed. The shredded duck chow mein was over cooked to the point the duck was inedible and the chicken balls and chips for my daughters meal was again way over cooked.

This was the worst takeaway we have ever had. Do not waste your money- we had to throw it out. We ordered chicken fried rice, egg fried rice, salt and chilli chicken and chips & curry sauce. The chips were hard and overcooked, the fried rice was dried out and the chicken strips on the chicken fried rice was also dry and leathery. The chicken fried rice was just a portion of fried rice with some chicken chucked on top- no veg. Nothing appeared to be freshly cooked.

Always tasty food. We ordered Terryaki chicken noodle. And a chicken curry! We got salt and chilli chips and fried rice on the side. Best Chinese we’ve eaten from.

Salt and chilli chips very expensive and totally bland, Szechuan chicken barely a spice. Disappointing and expensive meal.

Had better, they forgot to give me my prawn crackers (3 quid) on a fairly small order. Driver had to come back later but by that point they were no longer required.
