Bones or ruff bits in chicken fried shame cause rice and curry was decent just the chicken friendly owner but when ur starving and bones or hard bit the chicken 2 bits enough sorry guys it's a no for me

Had a nice meal here a few weeks ago and decided to go for dinner last night. Waited almost an hour for our starter and the same again for our main course. The waitress apologised and said they were busy with takeaways. When the main came the seafood was all dried out and no ware near the same quality as our last visit. After complaining to the manager he took it away and returned 5 minutes later with the dish swimming in sauce I had enough at this point and asked for our bill. Not even an apology from the manager. I certainly won’t be back.

Just had my order cancelled and their refusing to deliver to me because i had to cancell my order to taje me son to an emergancy hospital appointment . Was told iv camcelled a few times yes on just eat which they allowed me to do due to long wait times iv been a loyal customer foe mearly 20 years absolutley disgusted

Food was cold and green peppers were raw, not nice at all, went in the bin, couldn't eat it.

Delicious food, never had a bad dish. Usually ready for collection 15 minutes after phoning our order. A bit pricier than more local Chinese takeaways but totally worth it. Recommend the chicken satay!

Well impressed! Roast pork Szechuan, Lemon chicken, and Beef chow mein. All good quality meat and genuinely distinctive flavours. Fantastic 👍👍👍

Great takeaway, friendly lady on phone & tasty food. Chicken Thai chilli is my mum’s favourite from here.

Ordered a mushroom curry, plastic container of brown water appeared with 8 mushrooms , disgusting is an understatement, was binned after a couple of mouthfuls, WONT be using again.

Had the salt and chilli chicken, chow mien and beef and green pepper plus sides...really excellent, well recommended, look forward to ordering from the golden kitchen again

Wonton broth was fine but wontons themselves lacked flavour/freshness. Kung Pao Prawns seemed to have a partial taste of chlorinated water. Disappointed especially given all the positive reviews

Since they have joined just eat, service is terrible. They obviously forgot the people that helped the keep going throughout the first lockdown and their clients that have supported them for over 20 years. Delivery takes 2hrs plus, food is cold and not edible. The last order we sent away as it took over 3 hours for delivery. Shame the are treating the people that supported them throughout the first wave of covid with this sevice now, but I guess that is ok as long as the just eat clients are happy. No Stars and i pains me for this after 20 years of loyal service, I feel let down and disappointed.

Very disappointed spare ribs tough with hardly any sauce, curry awful waste of money.

First time. My son and I are very fussy about our Chinese,but all I can say is the food is excellent and delivery very prompt. Definitely going to use again.

just ordered food 15 minutes ago and Customer service was dreadful. Who laughs in your face for no reason when you just want to make a food order. Honestly think that was uncalled for. Got no apology what's so ever

Food was not so bad, but customer service is bad. This was the first time my experience in this take away. I greet him and the customer service didn't greet me back. When I asked about the menu he just show me the menu but it didn't helpful at all ( for a new customer). I felt he is quite rude. I'm not satisfied with the food and customer service. For me first impression is very important be a satisfied customer. I don't recommend this takeaway for any friends of mine.

Was looking forward to a Chinese after being on holiday and I have to say this was the worst Chinese meal I have ever had, all went in the bin, totally inedible.

Golden Kitchen is very good value and generally have the carry out prepared very quickly. Only issue sometimes is parking, so just be patient until a space is available.

Love this Chinese take away! Fantastic food! Fast delivery! Good service! I would recommend the crispy shedded chicken and salt and chilli chips! Would recommend. I have tried others in the area but none are as tasty and good quality as this one!

Great food, excellent value !

We have often used this restaurant in the past and the food has been good. However they must have a new chef because food has improved. The traditional spring roll is huge and full of great prawn meat and noodles. The King Prawn curry is excellent - made in a traditional way with peas included. Well worth ordering and enjoying - delivery is quick and prices good

Still really awful and very rude staff. Food inedible and even the dog would not eat it! Asked for refund but they did not offer it.😞

Great Chinese food at reasonable prices. Plenty of choice availble plus happy hour meal are well worth a selection.

Got a menu thru the letter box and have a go. The Happy Hour meal deal is second to none in terms of quality and quantity cos its a full portion... no like others giving a smaller container...value for money in reality

I keep going back here because they do by far the best chicken satay around. But when you venture away from that the orders are often wrong - in the past few months I've been given the wrong order three times. And beware - chicken fried rice is not just chicken friend rice, that's twice now I've asked for that and been given the special fried rice. Damn that satay.

the Golden Kitchen deserves a 5* in terms of value for money and quality!!!!!!!!!! The food I had(last week) was Marinated Beef with chilli and leeks and a Chicken and sweet corn soup...the texture of the soup was perfect and the beef was superb. I also had a Happy Hour's Special only costs a fiver...a Beef with green pepper and blackbeans sauce with fried rice which is a nick at this price
