They were busy and under pressure so service was a little slower than usual but same good food and pleasant staff.

Ordered a take away for collection. Due 50 mins after ordered an hour and 40 later still not ready so got a refund. Can’t run a bath . No one in the restaurant and can’t even run a bloody take away

Ordered a delivery and was given an estimated delivery time within the hour. I called when it had not arrived and was told that it was leaving the shop that minute; 10mins away from the house. The info in just eat changed suddenly advising of a delay, adding a further 50 mins on to original delivery time. We waited and when nothing appeared I called to cancel. The call was extraordinary, a female staff member was screaming at the young staff member I had initially spoken with, accusing him of lying to me; like going old school tonto on him. For the sake of the young guy, I agreed to give it another 5 mins. The food arrived, 1 hour and 45 mins since order. The first tub I opened had a dead fly on the top......never again.

Typical Glasgow Chinese at a reasonable price but nothing special

We ordered 3 meals last night ,salt and pepper chicken,shredded chicken honey and chilli, and chicken curry....firstly the rice was cold...all chicken dishes had the same chicken ..none shredded...the sauce was watery in the curry.the salt and pepper had no chillies in it and the shredded chicken tasted and looked like a bottle of sweet chilli sauce.....none of us ate our meals as they were tasteles....we will never go back and feel we wasted our money

Absolutely shocking service from this delivery restaurant, order took 2hours to arrive on a Tuesday night , after 4 phone calls it arrived it was freezing cold , phoned back instantly the female delivery driver then appeared in seconds to take our order away again . Around 5 minutes later we were accused of reheating food which didn’t happen as it got collected 2 mins after it was dropped off , we were then accused of being verbally abusive to the driver which is complete lies we were apologetic and thankful she drove back to collect , they then refused to send out another order and refused to give us a refund, the employee Zander we were dealing with was shouting over the phone and being abusive and continually hung up the phone. DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT

Not the best chinese.. This place has gone down hill. Want be ordering chinese takeaway from here again...if I could give it zero stars I would.

Our first visit to Jasmine One this evening. A very warm welcome from Susie. Comfortable table, very clean. I ordered Prawn cocktail, my husband, Chicken and sweetcorn soup, both lovely. I then had Grilled Lemon chicken , husband had mixed Satay. Absolutely beautiful, well presented, piping hot, plentiful and I'd go as far as to say the best lemon chicken Ive had in a long time. Sammi,served us, what a pleasant, helpful girl!! Having read some of the reviews we had hoped it would be good, it definitely was and we will return. Thank you Jasmine One. I Should add, the restaurant is not suitable for disabled, toilets are down two flights of stairs.

Appalling customer service by every member of staff that answers the phones. Poor communication, poor understanding of basic conversational skills. Beyond rude and unhelpful. Still waiting on £40 refund from order that was never fulfilled due to being over 2 hrs late.

Food is ok and good portions, but had some bits of the order mixed up. Staff are nice.

This was the best Chinese food I’ve had for years if not ever! Awesome service, our waitress was funny and helpful, kind and considerate. Sweet and sour was fresh and chicken was tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. Chicken curry was so fresh, all starters perfect too! We will be returning for sure, it’s a bit away as we are in East Kilbride however sit in or takeaway is now going to be a short trip to Jasmin 1 !! Thank you 😌

I order salt and chilli chips with extra salt and chilli but what arrived was a bag of chips stay well away from the chilli chips they don’t seem to understand the word chilli when I phone them about I was told I had got the max amount go to the chippie ifyou want chips this was the worst chilli chips I’ve ever had had to give one star because I couldn’t give them 0 terrible payed for a product I did not get

I enjoyed the family lunch but was not happy at the service charge being added to the bill and then being asked when paying the bill if I wanted to give money to the waiter. I never noticed the service charge until I left the premises. How much do the owners want it's customers to give waiting staff. All forms of service charge should be abolished

Take Away = Stay Away. Waste of £50. Jasmine One? Hope it's the only One! Reheated rice, bland chicken, the dish was padded out with soggy onions, the curry sauce was like dish water with lumps. I understand times are hard in the industry just now with rising costs, but this is a poor excuse of a takeaway meal. A tragic experience all round. Won’t be back.

Food is delicious, with generous portions and reasonably priced. What lets them down is overbooking ; they are on numerous apps; just eat, Uber eats, deliveroo and scoffable. The restaurant needs to have realistic delivery and collection times. Our order was confirmed as being ready for collection at 6.30pm on Friday and we had to wait in the reception area along with another six disgruntled customers. Our food wasn't ready until after 7pm. The staff were very apologetic, but the service is besmirching their good reputation. Again, the food was great btw.

My friend and I visited the Jasmine One last night and we were not disappointed! The pre-theatre menu is fabulous value for money. Food was absolutely delicious. We had the pleasure of the the lovely Sammy as our waitress who provided a 1st Class customer service. Thanks Sammy. 😊

Asked if expensive dish came with sauce. Was told yes... It doesn't... Phoned to ask for the sauce was told I can order it and pay 2 nd delivery charge... So if you have £25 to spare with some dry chicken, rawish onion and boiled rice.. This is the restaurant for you.

Order took over 2 hours to get delivered. Called for an update 90 mins into waiting and was told that "food was with driver and should be with you any moment" which either blatant lie or the driver was off doing something else, as the food only arrived ~25 minutes after the call (had obviously forgotten about the delivery and then sent out this food).

Just had chow main from here. Absolutely terrible. Dry beef, no sauce onions or veg. This place used to be fantastic … what’s happened? There is a lot of competition out there guys, you need to do much better than this.

Booked a table in advance for my grans 81st birthday and told they gave the table away to someone else by mistake (that’s fine these things happen). We were however then treated with the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Half an hour had passed and we hadn’t had our drinks order yet- we asked if we could order and we literally shouted at that we need to wait, they are busy… honestly we were in shock we didn’t know whether to laugh or walk out. We eventually left before ordering as we were continually told we must just wait. Really really rude- Avoid this place for the terrible service!!

Love this place, been going for decades. Delicious food and very accommodating for menu changes. Simply yum 😋 There is a minimum £20 charge which is new but easily met!!!

Went in to order food and got beef with broccoli and salt & chilli chips. Food was awful. Chips cold & dry. Beef dish was tasteless and lukewarm. Phoned and the lady would not listen to what I was telling her - very rude. She kept saying she used different broccoli which wasn’t the issue. The food was tasteless and not hot. The chips were not nice either. She kept saying salt and chilli chips are ment to be dry, hard and cold?!? Not the ones I’ve had before!! Terrible customer service & food. Would not recommend

This used to be best in area but sadly no more. Simply asked for a breast of chicken chopped curry with fried rice to be delivered. Expecting some form of decent quality chicken breast, I get what felt like some form of water injected processed junk ( you know the type that disintegrates in your mouth ) and on the whole the quality of the rice and flavour was bland. I did call and all I asked was for them to listen and explain why they do this but every time I spoke I got tramped over and gave up. It’s game over from me for this place and I would also say that this experience has put me off Chinese Food.

Ordered take out from Jasmine One - so disappointing. Chinese vegetables in garlic sauce was basically Chinese lettuce in a very garlicky sauce, no morning glory/pak Choi or similar. Honey ribs were very overdone and chewy. Honey chicken was okay . The sichuan chicken was a disaster. Was like boiled chicken pieces in a sauce that was very far away from a sichuan sauce. We do live relatively close to this restaurant and have been there numerous times both as a patron or a family takeout evening. However based upon this meal I will not be rushing back soon and am sad about that seeing as it is a Giffnock institution.

I ordered in Uber Eats and opted to pick up as it said 60-80 mins for delivery. It said 30 mins for pickup so I headed down to be told it would be a few minutes, I went next door to get a couple of single nugget ice creams and went back and waited and waited and you guessed it waited. An hour and 5 minutes after I had ordered I left with my order and melting ice cream!! When I got it home 2 of the dishes were Okay but the 3rd one Cantonese Beef normally my absolute favourite was worse than awful!! Tough sliced beef on bean sprouts with this tasteless dirty dish water brine 🤮🤮. In all my years this dish normally has a sticky sauce and usually comes with onions and broccoli but not this one ☝️. I’ll hopefully be able to post a photo so you can tell me if I’m overreacting 🤩🤩 RANT OVER

Went online to place an order, was given a pick up time , arrived 5 minutes early, was told it wasn’t ready, waited another 25 mins on my food , then told they don’t have my order there’s a glitch in the system, No sorry, no explanation, tried to order in the restaurant was told it will be another 30 minutes!!!! So in total it would have been an hour and a half before I got any food .. Shocking customer service , don’t care about the paying customer… will not be back

Genuinely awful, avoid! The drop in quality (and quantity) of food has been huge. We’ve used this restaurant scores of times over the years but won’t be back.

Went in for a quick lunch with my friend. He had just finished lunch so wanted to just order a dessert but was told he had to get a full 2 course meal. We negotiated I would pay for my 2 course meal even though I was having 1 course and he would pay for his extra dessert. The very rude lady wasn’t very happy, i really wanted to just leave but we already had drinks so we just stayed. I have a very sensitive stomach so checked ingredients before ordering. I ordered the honey chicken. But what came was a crispy honey chilli 🌶️ chicken. I can’t touch chilli at all, I explained. She did offer to swap it but we’re short on time, so I ate the rice. In total I was charged for the 2 courses, plus my friend was charged for his ice cream plus the banana fritter (£4.50) which would have came as part of the 2 courses, because he ate it and not me it was chargeable. Horrible atmosphere and glad to leave. Only have it a few stars as the man server was nice and polite. And an extra star as can’t really judge the main as I didn’t eat it.

Ordered King Prawn take away dish only to find they gave me chicken when i got home. Staff all over the place with orders, wouldn’t use this place again. Also very abrupt.

Kung po chicken tasted more like a chicken curry. Asked for chilli sauce with the wafer wrapped prawns, got soy sauce instead. Soggy chips, chicken wasn't great. Fried rice was the only half decent part of the meal. Really disappointing - money down the drain.

Dropped in for a quick meal with my mum, my partner and my child (2yo), however, as my mum doesn't eat much and my child is young, we decided to buy a few dishes and share. (although order would still have come to around £50) We were then told we had to spend a MINIMUM of £20 PP As most dishes are circa £12, we would have to order 4 full size main meals, a few side's and several drinks to meet this ridiculous rule! Resulting in a lot of excess and wasted food. When we attempted to explain our situation and challenge the rule, the manager might as well been made of stone, showing not one ounce of emotion or understanding. We were also told to pay for the drinks they had giving to us (even though they were barely touched as a result of the situation). I grudgingly paid for the drinks, then the waitress proceeded to intermittently clear our table in the middle of our conversation in what I can only describe as an attempted to make us feel unwelcome, and get us to leave quicker (even though 3 non alcholic drinks cost us £8.50 ) If you want a enjoyable dinning experience, Jasmin one is NOT for you. (or me ever again)

If I could give a minus I would! First time I ordered the delivery took two hours, this was a one off apparently…Ordered on their website tonight at 5:30pm, by 7pm we still didn’t have our food, so I called them. Boy on the phone couldn’t find the order, it wasn’t on delivery slip, couldn’t find email (he didn’t even ask my email address), he then asked if I wanted to order again!!? I said no and he said “I don’t know what you want me to do, there’s nothing I can do). Maybe ask for our order number/email address and do a check? No… I hung the phone up and 5 mins later the deliver driver is there with the actual order that they could find! (It’s longer than 5 min to our house so not a re- order). Just to top it off, THE ORDER WAS WRONG! Ribs with NO SAUCE, came drenched ina red sauce and went straight in the bin! BEEF CURRY, was cold and more like an onion curry, hardly any beef. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN, I WILL ALSO NEVER EAT THE RESTAURANT AGAIN AFTER THIS! I go here regularly with family and friends, but after tonight, I won’t! Absolutely disgusted with the attitude and service! And for the incompetent person on the phone, this was our order number that you didn’t bother to ask for! 2440094

If you want a nice dining experience, Jasmin one will NOT deliver.

First time ordering. Was surprised they delivered to my area. Food was great. Ordered via just eat and it was half hour early and hot. Seaweed was lovely as were the salt and pepper ribs and chicken. Chicken curry was good. Would reorder.

Been going to this restaurant for years and always been happy with service and food but tonight there was a table of about 12 people and 3 of us and we felt as if we didnt matter as the 2 staff that were working focused all their attention to the bigger table so service for us was terrible kept waiting on things then got the bill and it was double what it should of been so then had to wait for them to fix that so not sure if i will be returning

Lovely food...slow service for takeaway

Went with my family for a pre-theatre dinner. Prices have risen and I can understand that so £15.90 for two courses was acceptable. A bottle of house red also ok at £17.00 and I had two pints with my meal at a very reasonable £7.80. Enjoyed the meal and ordered two portions of prawn crackers which was not on the pre-theatre menu. Nearly fell off my chair when when the bill came and two portions of prawn crackers were charged at £8.40. £4.40 a portion for chinese crisps that they can probably buy in SeeWoo for buttons. I pointed out that it was ridiculous to charge less for two pints of lager than a side portion that used to be given free. But was talking to a brick wall..just got shown the price in the al la carte menu. Needless to say after enjoying everything else and possibly having a returning happy customer I left with a sour taste and turning this review from a good 4 to a solid 1.

Ordered a delivery through the website, it said approx 55 minutes then after paying I get an email saying 1 hour and 55 minutes. I get that the restaurant is busy but to add on an hour wait time is unacceptable, then when I phoned to cancel I was told it will take 7 days minimum to refund my money. It wasn’t my fault they can’t get their times right! That’s the Jasmine one scrubbed off of our list of favourite restaurants. The attitude of the manager and the staff member wasn’t good either, completely uninterested in the situation!!

A great place to get lunch or dinner. Good food and good service. I would highly recommend the Jasmine.

I’ve just moved to a new area and i am looking for a new Chinese restaurant. This won’t be it. Ordered on just eat expecting 40 minute delivery. Took one call, one text and two and a half hours for my meal to arrive. The meal itself was poor. Fried Rice was very bland and the chips were cold, hard and mostly inedible.

Another absolutely excellent takeaway dinner. All six diners loved their food. Used this restaurant for over 20 years. The quality of the the food never lets you down. Our go to place for Chinese food.

Went with friends for lunch friendly staff place is spotless got 2 course meal barbecue spares ribs as starter huge portion then chicken fried rice place was piled high struggled to finished would recommend you try & you won't be disappointed

Girl on phones is beyond rude. We left a review on just eat and they’ve hidden it! Worst experience and customer service ever from a restaurant. Staff seriously needs trained on how to speak to people. Ordered 2 meals and it took them 2 and a half hours to sort out. Joke. Never ever ordering again.

Decided to go our for dinner on Saturday night (14th May). After reading the reviews , was a little optimistic about visiting the Jasmine one, but was totally satisfied with both service and food. Portion sizes and food were fantastic, and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Definitely be back in the near future.

Been dining here for almost 30 years. Never had a complaint. Stir fried twin fillet in a black bean sauce is excellent!

The kung po chicken almost made my partner sick. She says that she could make it better in her sleep it’s that bad. Chicken wasn’t fresh and not cooked properly. No flavour whatsoever, our beef disc was cooked however it still lacked seasoning. Sweet and sour chicken was fine and the only slightly redeeming factor.

I absolutely love going here. It's one of the only Chinese places I look forward to. It is a little hidden on the side road but it's nice and cosy inside. The food is quick and it isn't greasy or oily like other places. Think the noodles are definitely one to go for. 🥰

Poor show from this establishment. Placed order on website and unable to collect as Jasmine One was closed at agreed time. Returned with email the following day and despite polite explanation was told abruptly to take it up with Deliveroo despite explaining it wasn't Deliveroo involved in order. Snubbed and two staff turned their back on me despite my civil tone. Year of the rude?

well what can i say yet again another Excellent Meal provided by this amazing wee gem the owner and her staff were so attentive and her son Kevin was great always making sure everything was ok and kelvin the wee waiter we had was truly amazing my wife had the traditional Christmas dinner and she said it was amazing i had the crispy fried Chicken again was amazing in the Birds nest Basket what a lovely touch the price was excellent and it was only right that we left a generous tip for the staff after all they gave up their day to look after the customers i would highly recommend this restaurant i would look past the negative reviews as these people probably want savoy Food at Budget prices judge for yourself i can assure you that you will not be Disappointed Thanks again to all the staff on the day And also kung hei fat choi for Saturday

I’m not one for writing reviews but was so disappointed in this place I felt I had to, Christmas dinner was shockingly bad, consisted of processed ham and turkey, roast potatoes from a bag and the tinniest piece of stuffing it was hardly even there, service was chaotic with 4 of my family finishing there dessert before the 5 showed up and was missing ice cream, absolutely no atmosphere or back ground music all you could hear was the constant coming and going of delivery drivers and pick ups flying out the door, will never eat here again ruined our Christmas Day tbh

Absolute shambles. Ordered online from their website with confirmation and pickup time. They lost order had to wait 90 minutes for new order. Was told it was Xmas and what did I expect ?. Shambles is being polite. And, then, to top it all food was terrible. Soggy, luke warm and very unappetising.

Well kept environment , very friendly staff. Food have improved. Owner been there for many years. She is been very helpful. Every where prices have gone up. But they kept the same. Impressive. Overall I will always go back.

The food I got was very bland, and the salt & chilli chips were just soggy chips with a few onions and peppers thrown in. Nothing at all salt and chilli about them. Seriously disappointed.

Second time ordering from here had issue with delivery first time and let it slide as food was delicious. Today ordered at 8pm and has just arrived at half 10, absolutely shocking. Honey chicken is tasteless, not worth money as its 95% veg. Chicken chow mein very dry and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Chicken balls and curry sauce made me sick, will not be ordering from here again. Shocking service and appaling food.

Ordered was beef green peppers blavkbean sause, the beef was very difficult to eat as very tough, combination curry, the chicken and prawns were OK however other meat difficult to eat, very disappointing.

Been going here for more years that I care to remember. Food, service and prices are great. Staff are attentive but not overpowering. Booths are great, very cosy. Highly recommend.

On the whole the food is very good, we were a bit disappointed in our egg rolls they were a bit greasy and very little filling as a matter of fact they were quite flat ,but the rest of the food was very tasty, staff friendly and efficient, being on a main road makes for difficult parking, but you can't have it all.

Chicken satay starter couldn’t eat the chicken it was like string main scallops in black bean sauce if you could call it sauce it was more like dish water no taste what’s so ever and for the scallops I had to Wade through the amount...

Delivery is a joke ordered at 6pm said it would arrive by 7.20... no sign & didn't turn up until 8.45 (After numerous calls ensuring me it was on the way!)
