Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in East Renfrewshire

I had a cold, tiny portion chips (a large is the equivalent of a small from McDonald's), a warm milkshake and a mushy, tasteless chicken burger. Truly awful. What a waste of money.

It was my first time trying the food. While Louisiana Chicken is supposed to be tops unfortunately they have not got it right in Glasgow. It was worse than eating at KFC!! The chicken was dry as, not crunchy, not big pieces, not tasty. Just bland. The chips were fine. The biscuits were so, so. The milkshake was actually pretty good!! The service, poor. The price, was very expensive. 26 pounds for 2. I wont go back.

Popped into Popeyes for a drive thru takeaway. Chose the 5 spicey tender meal. Comprises: 5 chicken breast tenders in a spicey breadcrumb batter, good quality chicken not too greasy. Cajun fries very nice. A drink and a dip I chose the garlic Mayo could have been more garlicky. Tried the spicey Mayo previously which was better. Very good friendly service. Good value and in my opinion better than other well known chicken fast food establishments.

Been before and enjoyed, however after this experience would not return. Chicken gritty, as if frier oil needed a change. Chips were okay but cold and nothing special. Food expensive with small portion sizes. Arrived about 3pm, no tables cleared for us too sit. Staff standing doing nothing and just chatting with us being one of the only three table and no orders on. Staff walking about the floor aimlessly, doing nothing to fix the state of the restaurant. Disappointed!

Chicken is disgusting, no discernible taste, just greasy 🤮. Chips were quite nice. Overall don’t understand the hype.

This was our first, having been wanting to try it since it opened a few months ago, we decided to click and collect as the que was out to the roundabout. We then waited 20 mins before I went in to ask where our order was, when I was told they were swamped and I just had to wait. Then it was about another 10 mins before we got our order. The screen doesn't tell you what orders are ready only what's cooking, so there is definitely tech problems going on! The staff are the most friendly to say the least! The food however was very good sized portions, tasty and great value. So much better than kfc! We will be back but probably not at the weekend...

I really enjoyed the food I paid for large but got really small chips and also paid an extra £1.50 for a cheesecake milkshake wasn’t worth the money 75p for a dip is a rip off also service wasn’t very welcoming I think this May struggles with the prices and service.

£13 for a “large” chicken burger meal, got a small handful of fries (like a McDonald’s kids happy meal portion) questioned if this was a large fries at the till, the child working there just looked at me, laughed and said “don’t deal with fries mate sorry” The food was actually great, but portion size to cost, and service, rubbish. Places like this won’t last long.

Super food... My wife and I had a chicken wrap each, super tasty and great value for money. The staff here were also very helpful and assisted us in selecting the meal. Thank you

Waste of time.. Lost order waited over 15 mins in drive thruu Food cold... Waste of money... Go to McDonald's or burger king as you get served quicker AVOID

Went for their chicken sandwich meal. Was missing salad and chicken was very greasy.chips were also overcooked. Won't be returning 🫣stick to kfc

Visited for the first time There was a girl at door when we entered I guess to help customers? she said nothing not even a smile ! Made our way to screens to work out how to place our orders, eventually got there and took a number and found a free table. Our food was quickly delivered to the table with a couple of cups to get your drinks from the self service machine. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was very nice crisp on the outside and juicy inside with a nice bit of spice. The chips that came with the regular meal were quite a small portion so you may want to upgrade to a large meal.

Got 2 Oreo milkshakes, doesn’t taste anywhere near it absolutely disgusting… probably won’t be back..

Visited this takeaway once the initial fuss over it had dies down and cannot believe the unjustified hype over it. Similar to KFC but not half as tasty. Nothing wrong with the service, all very good, but the product was bang average.

We visited yesterday for this first time. It was incredibly busy but the team were outstanding. Food was also very good.
