Food is very good. Quick service. If shop is busy they still manage to get food made reasonably quickly.

Tried it a few times since, and not up to the standard of old management. It's not bad, but it's not good..using somewhere else now. Reduced from 5 stars to 3. Under new management/ new owners. Did not enjoy my dinner tonight. My usual is way too spicy now. Kid’s chicken chow mein completely different too. If you’re going to take over an existing place, then why change everything? Going to talk to owners and see if they can tone mine down abit. Leaving 5* until then… My favourite local Chinese. Tasty, and not greasy. They will adapt/change food if you ask (add things/leave things out) or do things off the menu... Always friendly and good service too.

Used to be a decent Chinese but my order was terrible to say the least everything was fit for the bin not one thing was edible wont use here again unless it goes back to the way it used to be

Since the original owners came back in January, the food has been the best Chinese I’ve had in a good few years in the south side area! I highly recommend here. We ordered for a big family event recently and honestly, from the piping hot food being delivered bang on our requested time, to the quality of the food it was amazing! We will be regulars. Thanks again!

Under new management. Not good. Girl was rude and abrupt with no customer skills despite me giving her a tip. Food was tasteless and the meat was off. Was overcharged too. Never going back.. Such a shame as I have been a regular for years. Competition is fierce so will be trying somewhere else now as its now a rare treat so want value for my money. Goodbye peking house.

Tried this out of shear luck a few weeks ago and this has now become our new favourite! Food is always the same quality and always so tasty. It’s so hard to find a Chinese that is consistent with their food but Peking House have got it! Thanks guys.

Tried to put in an order over the phone and the employee was extremely rude. We said we wanted plain rice, not fried rice, and he hung up on us. We called back and he said we canceled our order and was really rude about it. I didn't trust them enough to try it again.

Been coming here for years, food is always top class. My order chicken satay with fried rice and chips with a spring roll, I've had a few satays in my time and that was the best yet. Keep up the good work

So sad 😔 Our local for many years, every Sat night, and many nights in between. Tried it first week after new ownership, it was awful. Maybe teething problems, tried again tonight, awful! Bring the old team back! Gravy sauce watery, this was always amazing and my girls’ favourite. Chilli prawns not crispy and the chicken fried rice absolutely tasteless! Please, please bring back the old team, I really also feel for the delivery drivers, I count them as old friends, sorry can’t support this takeaway until it changes drastically! so sad 😔

AVOID, under new ownership and it’s dreadful. Wouldn’t waste your time. Very sad to see the old owners go! 6 adult meals ordered and all greasy and horrible. Hard chips, and poor sauces such a shame. One meal totally wrong, not even near what was ordered. People on phone didn’t even now what they had on the menu. Used to be our place to go at least once a month (often more) and we won’t be back at all.

Excellent takeaway. Been using Peking House for years but a lot less since I moved from Thornliebank. Much better than my now local Chinese takeaways. Worth the travel.

I ordered a delivery of a special chow mein it was 3 quarters noodle a small amount of meats a whole 2 prawns & I paid the princely sum of £18.50 the noodles were greasy & salty.never again will I use that place I'll stick with tastes good in arden,definitely not to be recommended

Food was ordered at seven pm and arrived at 9.40. We complained about the horrific wait time and the best they could do was throw in some free cans of soft drink. Incredibly poor service.

Never fails to dissapoint, except on a Monday as they seem to be closed.

Absolutely shocking service. We made an order and confirmed it. We then get the order and have the wrong thing. I call back to explain and get told before I can properly explain the error 'no you got it wrong' and repeatedly told that. Then she hung up on me. We order almost every week and thats the service we receive. This has happened twice before that we have 'supposedly' said the wrong order. TWICE.

Always seems to be busy with plenty of repeat customers, not been disappointed yet and generally enjoy a good munch from here 👍

Usually the food is good. Been going to this Chinese since I was a kid. Ordered a special chow mein tonight and honestly it was such a disappointment thick gravy covering dry noodles and rotten meat. Wont be ordering again wish I could rate no stars. Not sure if new owners since we have ordered last time. Wouldn't recommend or be ordering again

The worst chicken chow mein I've ever seen. Straight in the bin. Dry noodles at the bottom, a layer of thick gravy, topped with chicken, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and cabbage? Absolutely honking.

Without doubt, the worst take-away I have experienced in Glasgow, quite possibly the world. Ordered Salt and Chilli chicken with curry sauce. The curry sauce tasted like perfumed puddle water. The chicken was unbelievably bland and the portion size, completely deplorable. Their customer service also reflected the poor quality of their food. They sent the wrong order initially. There was no effort on their part to remedy this and I had to ask them to replace the order. They also wanted to replace the chicken only, failing to take into consideration the other food I had purchased.They also insisted I send the wrong order back. Heavens knows what they did with that. Probably microwaved and sold on to an unsuspecting customer. Safe to say that I will not be using this place or recommending it to friends.

we had a takeout for a family of 3. Decent food, enough road size parking, little bit busy road though. You can order on phone and get it collected in 15 minutes. I likes pepper chips the most.

Some great dishes available here. I particularly recommend Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce. Szechuan Chicken is also good. The Chow Mein isn't great. Better to get that from Tao, who is at the other end of the shops.
