The Anchor Fish Chips & Pizzeria in East Renfrewshire

Arrogant and will not take responsibility. Took my partner here as she had always wanted to eat in a wine bar. There was a deal on for antipasto and a glass of wine which suited us. We said to the server she had a nut allergy which we heard him mention to the chef, I heard him mention there were lots of ingredients so tell her it’s fine. When the meal came, there was ham on the plate that contained pistachios and therefore there were pistachios over the plate, when we asked the server she took it back and we overheard him complaining we should have told him. After simply removing the ham we were then eventually offered for a new one to be made, we then heard him slamming about clearly unhappy, this made us feel very uncomfortable so we decided to leave. When we went to leave he complained he didn’t know and we explained we heard the server ask and his response which he neglected to accept and could only say why would I say that. Very disappointing, we won’t be back.

Ordered a spicy chicken and chili pizza for home delivery. Delivery driver was great and the pizza was phenomenal 💯

Sorry we won’t be back. The girl serving was not pleasant, hair on plate, we asked for an orange juice for my daughter only for be given a fizzy drink, my children do not like fizzy juice rudely was questioned by the girl serving why my child doesn’t drink fizzy juice. It wasn’t what we ordered. This isn’t the first time the service hasn’t been great.

Superb food and a lively atmosphere. A fantastic menu with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Would highly recommend ⭐️

Don’t eat from here they have a rat infestation, I ordered a piri burger from here and it had what looks like a rat tail in it I went in store and they said they couldn’t do anything about it
