The best restaurants in Giffnock and Thornliebank East Renfrewshire Glasgow and Surrounding

We were extremely lucky to bag an exclusive invitation to the Caff. It was luxurious, entirely dust-free and the food was excellent. The selection of flat (unrisen) breads and cheeses was particularly notable, while the Ukranian-sourced chicken was both topical and tasty. M. Levinè was a fine host, keeping us entertained with a wealth of stories and anecdotes. We believe some were even true! Overall an outstanding experience. Beg, steal or demand an invitation with manaces - an experience not to be missed.

We were a large family group from london staying in a house in Scotland over winter holidays. L’chaim prepared us shabbos food and more for our stay. the food was superb, easily as good or better than the heimish london take aways/delis. Portions are very generous and Rabbi and Rebetzen Jacobs were so helpful in making sure everything was perfect. they really made our holiday. i would highly recommend, they may have an old looking website, but don’t judge the quality of food and service on that! i can’t recommend highly enough. thank you and L’ Chaim!

Always worth a visit. Have been going to this restaurant for years even though we haven't lived in Glasgow for decades. Such lovely, friendly staff.

Have been ordering Armados pizza since 1989. Been a loyal customer. There pizza are not as good as it used to be. Now they sent out burned pizzas. Have asked them a few times not to over cook it. But they don't listen. And if you address it to management they couldnt care less. Customer service is lacking and management is aloof and blunt. Very unprofessional service. Reading other customer negative reviews shows it happening a lot. The service and quality is going down hill. There's better quality pizza places in Giffnock than Armando's. Won't be coming back.

Mark and his mom are lovely. The food is also very tasty and the prices are reasonable. Adverts need to be clearer that they no longer offer sit down meals and that the hour for hot take away are rather limited.

Deserts from here are fantastic! Highly recommend

I love Japanese food and this is gooood Japanese food. It taste fresh, looks pretty, perfect portion sizes and the flavours are intense. The chefs know what they a re doing. Friendly, helpful service. Will be back many times! UPDATE NOV 23 closed

Don’t eat from here they have a rat infestation, I ordered a piri burger from here and it had what looks like a rat tail in it I went in store and they said they couldn’t do anything about it

We had the haddock & chips which was like a reheat & oily, the pan fried fillet was very dry & over cooked. Bit disappointing the aplle crumble & ice cream dessert was excellent .

The cappuccinos were poor quality and were more like a milky coffee rather than a cappuccino..

Iv been working through the menu ,rice bowls are my favourite ,all heat levels are good but I think mild tastes the best (amazing)chicken fillets and the sauce they come in🤤 and the fries are hot, great work guys , love it
