Ordered a Sth Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken Tikka, not even sure the chicken was chicken Tikka, Small pieces of chicken, sauce tasteless, far too much oil in the sauce. Garlic Nan was ok

Food qas very nice the chicken pakora was very soft and fresh,I also got a kebab with lots of sauce,the kebab had a different taste don't know what it was but it was very very tasty,definitely will use this takeaway again, a big big thumbs up from me.

Food was delicious and delivery was quick Small isue where an item was missing from order and also they sent full sugar juice instead of diet also i ordered 2 litre bottle only to be given 3 cans and told they don't have 2 litre bottles right now but 3 cans do not amount to 2 litres and restaurant should be offering refund on that. Or pre warning customers when the order is placed. Other than that will order again as these are probably just teething issues as the place is new

Chips were raw hard and undercooked, Fish full of bones, service slow and I was in there 20 minutes didn’t see them wash their hands they were taking money then touching food. Won’t be back here

Always freshly made, might take a bit longer to deliver, the food is always fresh even the pizza s from scratch. 10 out of 10 if your not happy we will replace it. Delivery charge £1,50.cheapest in town. Pop in even for just the banter, always there to please.

The service is Very slow. Especially when your giving them ur order. U wait forever for it. No matter if ur in the shop or getting it delivered. Could be much better. When u eventually get your food it is enjoyable. 😏

Food looks nice enough but wasnt happy with the delivery being 20 minutes late after paying their £3 delivery fee. Ordered at10 to 7 and that's food just been. Should not have took that long for a pizza and portion of chips.

Tend to go for my fish and chips every now and then. Fish is always made fresh to order no pre made ready to go. Never tried any of the other offerings such as pizza,kebabs and Indian menus.

Food here is delicious, I don't go anywhere else since I found this place. Staff are great too.

Love this place. Staff r very friendly and helpful. U can fone ur order n collect when ready. All the food is made fresh as u order. Wee wait if busy but when its made fresh n not sat for ages its well worth the wait

Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí. Pedimos haggis y pakora de vegetales que estaban deliciosos, muy luminoso y fresco. El pakora "haggis" (plato típico escocés) era el mejor que he probado nunca, se evapora de boca. Tenía un curry paneer Mutter a seguir y no hubo ningún problema perdiendo los guisantes - podría incluso reemplazarlo con algo más. Ambos curry era encantador y personal estará feliz fuerte de las sobras. camarero era muy atento y tenía un wee charlar con nosotros al final - sin duda, volveremos.

Este restaurante cambiado de dueño fines de noviembre, (debido a la falta de interés por parte de la comunidad local) y nos preocupaba que la increíble de alta calidad de la comida y el servicio no sería lo mismo, y estábamos justo, lo que es incluso mejor que antes.Sí, el restaurante es pequeño, y sí, hay que subir un tramo de escaleras, pero de ninguna manera esto afectó en nada en general de comer aquí. Así que recomiendo este restaurante? ABSOLUTAMENTE! Así que venga a los lugareños probar algo diferente no te vas a arrepentir.

Small and very friendly restaurant. Recently changed owners. Some things not available from the menu but there is plenty of choice so not a huge problem. Good choice on the menu and really tasty. Good value for money!

Hemos disfrutado tiendas de comida para llevar dos veces recientemente y se puede recomendar. Hay una buena selección de platos. Disfrutamos del cordero y pollo tawa chasni. En la recopilación de la comida que tuve una mirada a un pequeño restaurante limpio y tomó nota de que había dos restaurantes asiáticos de familias que siento es una buena señal.

Maya es un pequeño e íntimo restaurante en Giffnock. He visitado muchas veces tanto para sentarse y para una comida para llevar. La comida siempre ha sido increíble. te recomiendo totalmente dando el banquete. Cómo el banquete funciona es que decir al camarero qué tipo de platos, como por ejemplo suave, medio, picante y que carne o pescado, y te traen una gran variedad de platos para probar. Es una buena manera de descubrir nuevos platos sabrosos que normalmente no hubiera intentado usted mismo . El personal es muy servicial y atento pero sin agobiar. Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna. Es aconsejable reservar debido a su pequeño tamaño

Pasamos una noche en familia en el mejor restaurante indio que hemos estado en un tiempo. El propietario, Mac, era muy acogedor y nos dio una variedad de aperitivos para probar que estaban deliciosos. Disfrutamos especialmente un plato de pollo con garbanzos rallado. Toda la comida era excelente y a un precio muy razonable. Mientras que el restaurante es pequeño, tiene un ambiente cálido y confortable ambiente. Sin duda volveremos.

Went here a few weeks ago and the food & starters were amazing. It's small but it had that cozy feeling the staff were brilliant and their food recommendations were spot on great value & service recommended

Todos los platos son muy fresca y llena de sabor. Cada plato fue muy diferente y probado fabuloso. El restaurante es muy pequeño y sólo tiene capacidad para unos 20. El servicio es de primera clase y, sin duda, volveremos. También se ofreció a llevar el servicio, que puede ser la pena echar un vistazo. Éste es sin duda el mejor restaurante indio que hemos comido en mucho tiempo.

Wonderful food ...fabulous staff and value for money.I took guests from Africa and they loved the curry and wished Maya delivered to Zambia.

As first-timers at this restaurant, we went on a Thursday evening & opted for the 'banquet meal' - this meant we let the staff choose our 4 course dishes to our preferred spice! Two of us were unable to finish the plentiful food (which is unusual for us) and only because we were so full, not dissatisfied! wonderful flavours and a mixture of lamb, chicken and fish (again at our request but they would cook to suit you) and very reasonable price. A good wine list to choose from was another plus point! The service was excellent & we will definitely be returning!

Visited Maya for the first time last night for dinner with my family and girlfriend. We ordered the banquet meal and it was excellent! The Bhel Poori with the cashew nuts through it is delicious! All the food is full of flavour and is piping hot. We got a selection of mild curries for our main dishes, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are very attentive and offer advice on what food they think would be to your taste. As it is a small restaurant I would recommend booking so as to avoid disappointment! Will definitely be back very soon for great Indian food that's good value for money.

Visited Maya for the first time last night for dinner and we had one of our best Indian meals in a long time. Everything was freshly cooked, choices were varied and tasted sublime. The Bhel Poori was amazing. Staff very attentive, friendly and offered advice on dishes if required. Restaurant is small but very stylish - it is situated off the A77 Fenwick Road, Giffnock, so easily accessible by car or public transport. We cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant and will certainly be regular visitors. If you appreciate good quality food we can wholeheartedly recommend Maya. Give it a go - you will not be disappointed. A real gem.

This is a very small restaurant and I was expecting a typical indian restaurant decor, meal and service in a tucked away location. How wrong I was. I decided go along with my wife during the week to try it out and we both found a very upmarket styling inside the small but cosy restaurant.We ordered Starters, Mains and the usual accompaniments and I have to say the food was the best I've had in a Glasgow indian restaurant for many many years, with a lovely traditional taste and minus all the excessive oils and colours associated with meals in many other restaurants. The small number of staff were always on hand and the owner, who I now understand was in charge of one of the well known establishments, Balbirs @ Route 77, brought out a small sample chicken dish to try as well, and this was simply out of this world...I don't even know what it was called because it wasn't on the menu.If you want to try a really good Indian restaurant, then ignore the location of this tiny establishment and give it a try...you will not be disappointed. I think they do Carry Outs as well.

From the outside it doesn't look much, but Maya is far better than the majority of Glasgow Indian's. Simple, home cooked food done well, and not smothered in Ghee. I had kind of stopped going out for Indian meal, because with the exception of Mother India's cafe, Kebabish and a few others, there aren't many good options in a town swamped with bland Indians.The focus seems to be on flavour and the vegetable / fish dishes are excellent as is the lamb (which I usually choose). Lots of fresh mint, coriander, lemon juice etc. A gem.

OK so it's small (you can interpret this as "cosy") it's up a short flight of stairs, and it's not on a main road. But, WOW, the food : absolutely outstanding and totally different from what you are probably used to if you frequent the average "curry shop". We've now tried a few different lamb dishes, both eating in and as carry outs. All have been superb and refreshingly different. (Try the lamb saag. You'l never eat it anywhere else). This is not to detract from the excellent chicken dishes, which again seem to burst with flavour in the mouth. We are curry "anoraks". We have eaten for many years in what are considered to be the best Asian restaurants in Scotland. MAYA has re-written the rules and redefined the recipes and surely rates right up there with the best. Try it : you'll be back again...and again.

A little of the beaten track in Giffnock but this wee gem is packed with great food and slightly new flavours. Well worth a visit.

Visited Maya last week (the day after it opened) and I have to say the food was amazing. Even better was the offer of 2 curries for the price 1.The quality of the food is top notch. No food colouring used. You can tell as there isn't a bright red curry in the place. I know cause a bought a wide range of curries. Everything tastes as if it was homemade. Even the indian vegetables used, you can tell they are fresh and not out of a can.Maya can hold about 20 people but it's well worth it. Menu maybe sparse but the curries on offer are quality. Dont be shy about asking for a particular dish. I actually described a dish that I wanted for my daughter who has wheat allergies and eczema and Maya were more than happy to make a dish up for me. Ended up with a divine Paneer Purji that my daughter loved. I really recommend Maya to everyone who enjoys a cracking curry.

If you are after something that's different to the usual colour and spiced fuelled Indian, Maya is the place to try. Newly opened a few days ago, the premises is small and intimate and the food is well worth the visit!

Recently opened on the site of the old Wok Way. Intimate setting and well worth the climb up the stairs. We tried banquet and food was well cooked, spiced and abundant. Rice and nan bread were not greasy and complimented the mains. Should be fully licensed by 12 September and worth a visit
