Joke man made an order a 1847 and its 2045 still dont have it called twice it will be on the way forget it waste of time

Very poor food and delivered late. Greasy rice, dry salmon, stale poppadoms, bland dahl, sloppy fish pakora. Used to be excellent, I won't order again.

This was my first order from Mount Cafe & although the food was very good I don't think I'll use it again as original estimated time of arrival was 17.25-17.45. Order arrived 18.05.

you'd be quicker going all the way to Nepal to get food than wait for them to deliver ... last took almost 3hours. Delicious but 3hours f*** sake.

Hate leaving bad reviews especially for here as food usually 5*. Chicken way overcooked in some parts, sauce was just normal curry not madras. Really poor tonight 😢

Food was so oily and horrible. Such a shame as we usually love the food from here. Gutted. Hope it’s just a wee blip

Nearly two hours late and no contact or apology /compensation- really bad service .

Best place ive came across in a long time, food is full of flavour portions are fab, I love the half and half section.

Heard about this place so thought me and the family would try it out what a joke I got it delivered but the delivery guy parked no were near my house so still had to walk in my socks to collect it. Got in well let me tell you what a shock mumchie box was horrific chips were dry NO kebab meat, pakora was dry as a bone won't be ordering from here again so since I can't do 0 stars I will do 1. Even though yous don't deserve it.

I have visited Mount cafe several times over the years I have finally got around to leaving a review Mount cafe is the best value and quality restaurant around the south side of Glasgow The food is authentic and delicious along with the great accommodating service always on offer This restaurant is a hidden gem and I would definitely recommend trying it

We would have liked to try the food here based on reviews. Quickly realized reviews were mainly for carry outs. As for sitting-in and waiting for one hour with no food (wasn’t busy) got up and left. Were told they ‘make from fresh’ but obviously not for us!

Quite frankly, the best Indian takeaway I've had in Glasgow, and I've been trying to find a good one for years. Their masala sauce is so rich and creamy. Their Peshwari nan is just so tasty. Now I've found this place, I won't go elsewhere.

Unable to contact the restaurant as they disconnected their phone. Food took close to 3 hours to arrive.

Really enjoyed the lovely selection of Pakora. Order was a little late, but the quality of the food made up for it.

Mixed pakora was really tasty. Would have preferred a little more mushroom and cauliflower in the mix, but that's just my preference.

Amazing food as usual. Unfortunately was extremely late - worth the wait in the end but would be good if the estimated time was more accurate as we had hungry guests round waiting to eat and was over an hour later than the estimated time.

I’m extremely disappointed to see I’ve had no response to the complaint of my delivery being 2 and a half hours late last night. I called the restaurant twice to chase up the order when it stated on the app that it had been delivered at 20.20pm to be told it was still being cooked. By the time the order came my daughter and friends had left for a night out on an empty stomach. Not impressed at the wasted food and money.

Delivery was late by 1 and a half hours. Tried phoning therestaurant but it was constantly engaged. I was actually in the car to pick it up when the kids phoned to say it arrived. Considering I ordered at 7 and it arrived at 8:10-8:30 no further update and then it turns up at 9:30.

Food was good but delivery service abysmal totally understand its busy however 2 hours fir delivery when you are told originally an hour then on calling told twice 10 minutes which turned into another 40 mins is just not acceptable. If it's going to be 2 hours make that clear at the outset. 0

Ordered at 7.20 pm. Food arrived at 10pm. phoned the restaurant multiple times who provided no reason as to why the food was so late. I live 500m from the restaurant but couldn't collect because I have a young child in the house. very poor from the restaurant, won't be ordering from them again

Delivery was over 2 and half hours .

Don't have a clue about the food quality because we're still waiting! An hour and 20 after the estimated delivery time! I phoned up at 8:30 and was told 15mins, still waiting at 9:20! Ridiculous!!!

I've had a few really nice takeaways from here, but tonight's was exceptional. The timure curry came with the most succulent chicken breast pieces that I have ever had. I'm being literal when I say that the chicken fell apart with the lightest of pressure from my fork. How do they make it so soft?! The restaurant is small and a little basic, but the food is exceptional.

This is the best Nepalese restaurant I've ever eaten in. They have a range of authentic Nepalese dishes as well as a wide range of Indian cuisine. My absolute go to place for a curry. Lovely daily own and run the place and when you sit in, they can never do enough for you.

Pakora sauce isn't to my personal taste but oh boy everything else is stellar! New favourite Indian restaurant

First time trying here. Pakora, curry and naan were lovely.

NB : we had take away. We have now had 2 take away meals from Mount Cafe and can’t wait to have another. Definitely the best Indian takeaway meal we have ever had. Food delicious - and amazing value. The portions are huge. If you’re ordering at the week end delivery can take 1 hour 40 minutes, so plan ahead.

We sat in and waited 1 hour for our mains to come. There was hair in our starter. The waiter was not the best. I would not recommend.

Top quality. Samosas and pakora were tasty and not greasy. Their homemade spicy sauce with it was great. Curry tasted fresh and again not greasy which is a pet hate. Definitely ordering again.

Some of the chicken tikka was pink in the middle 🤢 thankfully noticed before I ate any, but full meal wasted. Should be taking more precautions to make sure chicken is fully cooked, could cause someone to become seriously unwell!

Had the king prawn vindaloo it was absolutely absolutely delicious And perfectly hot. The pillow rice was superb thick. Some Moses were again delicious sir again delicious great sizes great sizes fresh pastry 3 really good. Fresh ingredients I will definitely recommend and order again. Arrived on time on time and food was hot food was hot in temperature

I was very upset with quality of my food. The only thing the restaurant would do is replace my pakora. A big favorite of mine I use it on average 2 -3 times a week. But, no more of ordering for myself and my friends. I was gob smacked to be treated like this for a £6 or so curry. Business must be good at the Mount Cafe.
