Mings Express in East Renfrewshire

The best Chinese takeaway/delivery in the local area in my opinion! Dishes comes with big portion and they are very tasty! Authentic Chinese food! Plenty of choices and my favorite is deep fried Won-ton and Satay Chicken on Skewers, and fried noddles and fried rice. Great value as value! Comes with free snacks when the order is over a certain amount! Weekends can be very busy though!

Just used Mings for the first time today. Food is delicious and generous portions. I have found my forever takeaway. Will be using Mings for hereon in. 5 stars from me.

Never again will I order from here, delivery was extremely fast food was bland and chicken and prawns in Singapore chow main had a bizarre taste. “Salt and chilli “ chicken balls were dry. 2 bites and in the bin also could clearly tell it was a reheat.

I phoned for a delivery but mentioned sweet and sour chicken last delivery was very poor. Chicken stringy and tough. This time crispy pancake rolls tough. Obviously been sitting for a while. Salt and chilli ribs tough. I phoned and complained. To my amazement the girl laughed and said we were the first to ever complain and should go elsewhere. We very much will be but beware this once good takeaway has gone right downhill.

Food is very reasonable and usually tasty. However their dishes are bulked up with too much RAW onion and carrot that is far too hard! Please cook them till they are edible. Had the Malaysian special fried rice, dry as a bone. Hmm not sure I like this place.

I had a party buffet delivered to my venue on Friday evening it was amazing. Plenty food and was piping hot .everyone enjoyed the food 😋 can highly recommend.

Very very impressed - 1st time order. Peking Ribs, SnS Pork, Lemon Chicken, Chow Mein and Chicken Noodle Soup all delicious. Very good value. BUT wait time at collection was too long.

Diabolical ! I called to place an order and first of all was told to wait while the woman finished taking in person orders, so I patiently waited, listening in to 3 very lengthy orders for approx 8 minutes before the woman came back. I placed my order, a very expensive one, and after being denied several requests, such as ‘no extra chilli, too busy’ and ‘no meal for 2, too busy’ - all of which I took in patience - I reached my limit when I was told it would be a 45 minute collection time when I was literally at the station in Busby. Around the corner ! Why didn’t they say ‘45 min collection - is that ok ?’ before I went through the painful and drawn out process of trying to place my order ? I’ll NEVER order from here again and I recommend nobody else does either. Really, really bad service. And the food isn’t even that good either, by the way.

In this tiny, converted station building, the Ming’s team work magic. The food is the best I’ve ever encountered from a Chinese takeaway. The menu is extensive and our large order was ready for us to pick up, as promised, in ten minutes. The quantities were extraordinarily generous and we effectively ended up with two separate dinners. The service was brisk and confident. Five stars, no question.

Came here on a friend's recommendation when our usual Chinese takeaway was closed. Massive chicken fried rice tub, curry sauce lovely, chips and honey chilli chicken spicy but loved it all. Clean plate. Might even change to my new Chinese!!

Excellent as always. Magic food.

Never had any issues with the quality of the food but the waiting time is getting ridiculous. Told 45 minute wait for pick up but actually waited 90 minutes. Not good enough. Just lost a customer.

Order placed 18.50. It's now 20.35. No show. Phoned twice, told it's on its way. You decide if that's a good review or not.

Got put onto this wee place a couple of months ago when we found out they delivered to East Kilbride.. The food is fantastic and the delivery very prompt.. Best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time.. And some nice little touches with the fortune cookies in the bag too..

Always great food from here. Love their munchie box offer as it's huge portion. Always find it hard to pick though as chow mein is very good as is curries. Never had a bad meal from here that's why I'm always back.

The staff are lovely, however took 40mins to deliver cold food and wrong order. Very kindly delivered another half cooked chips and extremely dry chowmein. 😢🤔🥵

Would give 0 stars if I could! Often go to Mings and have had many good and a few below par meals, however tonight’s was the last I will ever be going and I recommend you not to go! Ordered a meal totalling around £20. Got home to discover the lemon chicken was extremely soggy and the chicken tasted off, called back to inform them and was met with an extremely unapologetic manner, telling me it can’t be soggy when evidently it was. They told me to come back but I asked that they deliver to which I was told no I was to come back as it was too far...after a few words they decided to deliver then proceeded to phone back and tell me I’d have to pay the delivery. After telling them I’d return all food if that’s the case they were extremely rude and said well fine we will deliver! Absolutely appalling service and disgusting food. Also they have a sign in the shop (new sign) saying “no card payment under £5” don’t think they know this is now against the law and after tonight’s service I will be reporting this.

Always hot and tasty, every dish is well presented and well priced. The staff are knowledgeable, although some have better grasp of English than others but we are always made to feel welcome and enjoy every visit.

I've bought takeaway here for a while and never had a bad meal. Good portions and always tastes great compared to other takeaways nearer me. So I usually drive 15/20mins just for a great Chinese meal and weird to see bad reviews...

China el peor que he probado jamás. Yo tenía pollo y salsa de ostras y arroz hervido. Sosa y! Tengo Nada de pollo y secar. Yo había pedido especial arroz frito el mes pasado y también era sosa y totalmente insípido! Las comidas no ha comido en todo apenas. Mi hermana tenía el cóctel de gambas, estaba aguada y también las gambas no tenía sabor! Luego tuvimos algunos extraño langostinos con mantequilla tuvieron que nunca pidió. Simplemente horrible. Nunca comimos. Así que estoy aquí sentado muy hambriento y descontenta. Servicio de atención al cliente era horrible en el telefono. ¡Nunca más!

La comida para llevar es el mejor. Comida recién hechos mientras esperas y vale la pena esperar en las horas punta. Yo siempre llamar con antelación y está listo cuando llego a recoger. La comida para que alimentar a dos y es una gran relación calidad-precio. Los langostinos y platos fritos crujientes son realmente no está húmeda como la ventana enorme típica comida para llevar. Incluso tienes una galleta de la fortuna. Me encanta este lugar.

Íbamos a llevar a cabo un orden con mi familia en un sábado hace unas semanas, ordenados en 6,20 pm, me dijeron que unos 15-20 minutos más tarde que nosotros lo hicimos y nos llevó hasta las 7,05 pm para el hombre detrás del mostrador para comprender que se había olvidado nuestra orden y habíamos dejado detrás del mostrador. Sin embargo, nadie se disculpó por ello. Me dio otra oportunidad dos semanas más tarde, cuando pedí por mí mismo, pedimos pollo arroz frito y una porción de patatas fritas, bastante fácil justo de la orden? Nos llevó más de 40 minutos, con gente que va y viene, el hombre detrás del mostrador me preguntó otra vez lo que estaba esperando y le dije, claramente había olvidado mi ordenados como corrió a la cocina y a menos de 15 minutos. Una vez más, no hay disculpa. Me extrañó mucho tiempo de espera, volveremos al sistema Wings (un poco más adelante chino por la carretera) de ahora en adelante.

The food is really nice, choice of menu and set meals are good. The price is reasonable and well worth an extra 10 minute drive to pick meal up.

Llamé a un pedido en 7,35 y me dijeron que llega en 15-20 minutos, lo cual me quedé, sin embargo no recibí mi pedido hasta las 8.30 , en este momento cualquier otro cliente que llegamos después que yo iba y venía. Creo que este es un tiempo de esperar inaceptable para un orden relativamente sencilla. Una vez que llegamos a la casa más de mi comida no estaba muy caliente. Lo bueno es bueno, pero sin duda no iremos de nuevo.

Use this place regularly. Food is great value with most main meals at only £3.99. Quality is great and you get plenty of it too. Consistently busy at weekends which is always a good sign!

Esto es sólo una comida para llevar, pero está al lado de Busby estación de tren rápido y sirve excelente comida china. Los platos principales cuestan 3,99 y las porciones son grandes y en mi opinión una buena calidad, algunos de los mejores l chino de alimentos han probado durante un tiempo. Pancake rollos para empezar eran bastante grandes y abundantes, mi único comentario sería de recortar los brotes de soja como había demasiados y una reducción reduciría el tamaño y mejorar el sabor.

Menu choices - all the usual suspects along with some Thai and Malaysian dishes.Tried the meal for 1 at £7.80 (January 2014) Soup, Appetiser and a chicken or beef Main course. Excellent price but was the food any good. Starter - Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup. Usual portion size, not the worst but could have been a bit thicker with more flavour. Just madepass marks.Appetiser - BBQ Spare Ribs. Small portion size as it was part of the meal deal. Nice gravy/sauce, ribs were a bit chewy. If the ribs had been a bit more tender this would be a good dish, as it was it's just a pass.Main - Malaysian Beef Satay with Fried rice. Big portion size. Beef with onions and peppers and I think thin strips of carrots as well.Strangest Satay I've had for a while, no real peanutty flavour and although there was some spice the taste was very tangy. Got a second opinion on this one and they agreed it was very different and not to their taste either. Went to waste I'm afraid. Definitely different from what I'd expect from a good Satay. Big fail.Obviously just a small sample from their menu so unless someone can give me an Idea what would be excellent from Ming's I'll be giving it a miss meantime.

Not a bad take away. Very handy in its position in Busby. The Japanese sauce is very good and you never have to wait too long for your carry out.
