I just enjoyed the chorizo crumble pizza this evening down at Dunbar Harbour. This is the most authentic, best tasting sourdough crust pizza I've had anywhere in the UK. Great guys serving it up as well. They park up at the harbour Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I'll definitely return for more.
I visit this cafe on a weekly basis and must say their cakes and coffee are amazing! As for the service.. I have not experienced any bad temper so far!
Spontaneous visit to this local cafe after passing many times and always appears busy. The menu has a huge selection of hot, cold options along with sweet treats and drinks too. You can also sit in and take away if preferred.
Upon entering I received a warm, friendly welcome from a polish lady who appeared to be the manager and in charge of serving.
Good size cafe with lots of tables to choose from and very clean. Also, level access from the street is provided so good for wheelchair users.
Decided to dine in and order the lentil soup with a buttery roll as I was short on time. With lots of food options to choose from, keen to return and try some of the other items on offer.
Service was prompt and the portion was large. The soup was also piping hot and very tasty.
Overall great first experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good cafe near Gorgie area.
A wee gem close to where we'd stayed. Had a Yummy brunch without much boasters! Sitting on the perfect corner to give you that traditional corner cafe feel.
Vino a desayunar.
Went in this little cafe place as chance , and wow, breakfast was delicious! Great selection of items on the menu and selection of cakes too! Can’t fault the service too! Will definitely return to this little gem when we are back in Edinburgh!
Been for a visit the last 2 consecutive weeks.Wasnt impressed by any of the flavours. On my last visit I said to the staff regarding the lack of flavour.I have seen through customer complaints that the Manager has said it’s the lack of tastebuds in my option the customers are right. But when I voiced my opinion regarding its flavourless taste.I was at old buy another one. Told abruptly whilst I was being discerning by going to the side of the counter rather than make a scene, told in the area where masks can be taken off to put my mask on.Excuse me don’t tell granny how to suck eggs.I have had lung cancer and don’t need to wear a mask but I do only slid it to the side and was at a 2 mitre distance appealing way to talk to customers. And on looking at customers reviews have found to be some really awful responses.Clear and simple you might be busy now as it’s a craze, but will you be there in a years time.A bit of advice listen to your customer. How does it go the customers always right.Well mmm.but you need to listen flavour flavour that’s what your selling.
My partner and I and our dog Benji popped in for a light bite to eat. They were reasonably busy but still had adequate space for us and the decor was lovely and fresh. They are dog friendly which was fantastic. We usually order toastie and soup to share between us as we are light eaters. We had Roasted redpepper and tomato soup with cheese and red onion toastie. This was served to us in two individual bowls and plates. The portions were really generous considering it was split in two. There were two staff members. One seemed a little occupied but the other lady who took our payment was very chatty and friendly. Would definately recommend this cafe if you are in the area. It was also very reasonably priced for Linlithgow.
