I just enjoyed the chorizo crumble pizza this evening down at Dunbar Harbour. This is the most authentic, best tasting sourdough crust pizza I've had anywhere in the UK. Great guys serving it up as well. They park up at the harbour Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I'll definitely return for more.

Visited last Sunday for Cod and Chips. One member had the vegan Taco and said they enjoyed it.Not much to choose from regarding drinks but the Lifeboat shop opposite had a fair selection. The fish was tasty, the portion small for the price of £10.95 considering we were taking it away from the wee window on the van.Friendly service and two picnic tables available to dine at.This was the last weekend of the season, we read on a leaflet. Sorry, I don’t know when they will be back.

This was recommended by a local and we thought we were going to a seafood restaurant but this is a shack at the harbour and although it wasn't what we expected,we loved the setting. They don't serve drinks so went to another van for tea, but they only did juice so had to go to a third van for a cuppa. A little inconvenient, but food was good. My calamari was served with a pile of tasteless iceberg lettuce so I'd recommend getting rid of that or making it better with a dressing and a couple of tomatoes, but I can't fault the cooking of the squid or the fish. Staff were also on top form and quite entertaining. Try this place out for a lunch at the harbour on a sunny day.

Love the fresh pizza from The Big Blu van. Our summer evenings are made so much better eating their pizzas on Dunbar harbour. Was great to see them at Thurston Manor charity day as well. Keep up the great work guys (and please dont increase the prices)

Excellent quality pizza at affordable prices. Look out for Big Blu at Dunbar Harbour over the summer months, usually accompanied by the Fizz Bar. Fabulous pizza with lovely cold fizz as you admire the view... perfect!

Great pizzas, def worth the weight and an asset to the local community. Very basic, but sitting on the sea wall with a pizza is just awesome!

Was surprised to see the familiar blue van from the Victoria Harbour in the old pool at North Berwick for Fringe By The Sea when I was there to see Ian Rankin talk about his new book. Lots of people sitting or walking around with their pizzas.

Found the van on Dunbar Harbour, limited choice of toppings, tbh it's really only plain cheese, but very tasty, really cute way to get food, perfectly cooked. Kids was thrilled to see the van at Thurston Manor charity fun day. Great guys

Despite living and working in places famed for their street food and cafe cultures - I am not a fan of eating al fresco and especially not from a van. Maybe I have had too many cases of bad indigestion from fun fair burger van? But this is the exception. We were sight seeing along the harbour, the children and my wife were hungry and I was irritable. I dont remember what we ordered or the price or even what it tasted like - I was that tired as we had been making the most of a sunny weekend - and yet the children enjoyed their lunch and I was able to relax a bit before they all started squabbling again. They liked it so I liked it.

We have recently relocated to Dunbar, and discovering the big blu has been one of the highlights so far. We have been visiting regularly over the summer so far and each time the pizzas have been delicious, a very high quality and cheap at the same time. The service from the two guys running the bus is always friendly and upbeat. The only downside is sometimes it can be a bit of a wait, but it is well worth queuing for a while!

The Big Blue visits Dunbar Harbour on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer (weather permitting). The pizzas are freshly prepared in the wood-fired oven. Sometimes the queue can be quite long but it is worth the wait for these delicious pizzas.

I had their pizza two years ago when I visited and if anything, it got better! I absolutely love how fresh everything is and decently priced for how much you get! Located at the harbour during the summer, on a nice night it makes for a great date night or picnic with your family! Cannot wait to have more pizza here before I leave!

Delicious Pizza from the blu van, made then and there so you have to hang around, but the battery has been turned into a lovely wee place overlooking the sea to visit for free while you are waiting. The pizza van arrives about 6 and stays until he's sold out; normally about 2 hours. There's normally Margarita and another choice of pizza which changes according to ingredients available. They are simply irresistible and at £5 for a large pizza that will feed 2,unless you are super hungry, it's a very reasonable supper. Days and hours depend on the weather in winter so worth checking locally if he's coming.

I've stayed in a quite a few hotels in Blackpool & this is my favourite. Excellent family hotel, friendly staff, great service, modern & clean. Our family room was great not only was it spacious but it had a kind of partition wall separating the bunk beds from our bed the kids loved it. There was also a TV & playstation at the top & bottom bunks. You do have to pay for the games at reception I think it's about £5 a game. Comfy king size bed & large modern bathroom. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. The restaurant prices were a bit expensive so we decided to eat somewhere else for tea. We got free passes to get in the pleasure beach from the reception. Brilliant location as you are right next to the pleasure & the sand castle is a 5 minute walk. The kids absolutely loved it & we will defiantly be back next year

On Monday the 8th of February we were giving a treat at work and we were told we were getting pizza for our lunch. Not knowing what to expect, we were surprised when a big blue van came in, with a wood burning stove chimney sticking out the top. Everybody has been talking at work about how much they enjoyed the pizzas and what a terrific idea it is. I'd firstly like to thank the work (blue circle) for doing it in the first place, but secondly I'd like to thank the two boys in the van for absolutely brilliant pizza. It was the best I have tasted in a long time. I recommend it to anybody and everybody!!!

This is the highlight of a summer evening for me, I sit at work and look forward to coming down to Dunbar harbour for my pizza. Love everything about it the quirkiness of the van, the beautiful setting siting at the harbour and the pizzas. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is the disappointment I feel when I go down and its not there when he should be.

Tried several times to get pizza, due to its popularity it took me until August with my shift work until I could try one!Dunbar harbour is a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by, however the experience is improved if you have one the big Blu pizzas in your hand!Quite possibly the lightest, tastiest pizza I've ever had. Well worth a visit in the summer months. You can check their Facebook page to see which locations they are operating from and opening times (won't be there all the time as they cater at special events)Drinks and pizza very reasonably priced and in my experience exceptional quality.

I have hear so much positive feedback about the pizzas from the Big Blu so I had to try it out for myself and I wasn't disappointed. The pizza van was located across Dunbar harbour bridge. There were three different pizzas to chose from. I went for the chorizo and salami which was amazing, with a lovely thin based, and made fresh to order. There may be a wait depending on how busy they are but you have beautiful scenery to enjoy while you wait. I will definitely go back.

Visited the Big Blu in North Berwick tonight. Ordered and paid for two pizzas and was told that as it was busy there would be a 30 minute wait. In total I sat and waited for 80 minutes and was able to watch the complete pantomime performance that passed for service. Eventually I was called across by the guy serving who informed me that my order must have been given to somebody else and although they were still cooking and filling subsequent orders simply returned my money and that they hoped that my experience did not reflect badly on their business reputation!

Went to the van for pizza and I was expecting good things because I had heard positive reviews but it was absolute rubbish. I got to the front of the queue and a member of staff sneezed all over the oven and left it like that. Also his hands were filthy and no sink or soap to be seen. And the pizza was ok but it could have been better. And now I have a horrible cold to get rid of. Thanks a lot Big Blu. I won't be back

I tried Big Blu pizza recently when when the van was at a 'Street Eats' event at Fort Kinneard. The pizza is to die for -- I was shocked at how good it was. It is easily among the best pizza I've ever eaten, and I've eaten pizza all over the place, in the UK, the USA, Canada, and Italy, included the homeland of pizza, Naples. (The point of the Naples trip was to sample pizza, and I hit the 10 best pizza restaurants in the city.( Big Blu pizza is closest to Naples pizza, and the crust is a wonderful mixture of thin, crispy, but leavened, which is hard to get right. The van should be a huge asset to Dunbar Harbour, it's the sort of food that people will travel miles for.

New food truck business currently located in Dunbar Harbour. Offering gourmet wood fired pizza. The pizza toppings offered changes and is not your standard pizza fare. Delicious doesn't really describe it. I've eaten here twice. Both times have been exceptional and different. Pizza crust is thin and crispy. Absolutely delightful. Wood oven fired in a groovy blu van especially converted to produce this quality product. Available for catering and events. An absolute must to try. Spicy meatballs, tuna nicoise, Classic Margherita, La Reine, Spicy Chorizo & Mushroom...have been on the menu. Check website and Facebook for location.

Literally just got up and walked out after reading the menu prices. We were here last summer for lunch, had one of the best bowls of Cullen skink soup to date, came back specifically for that today as in the area, only to find that for one bowl of soup as a starter was £9.95 or for a large bowl of the same is now priced at £15.95! FOR A BOWL OF SOUP! I know it’s a tourist hotspot, but take off your Dick Turpin masks No 12!!
