We drove from Melrose to Edinburgh just to taste the food from this lovely restaurant. Me n my husband love our Goan food it feels homely. It was worth a one hour drive to Edinburgh. The food was lovely, more over the Goan owner of that shop she was very welcoming . For a moment we felt like we were back in Goa. I guess it’s not just the food I mean of course the food was delicious, mouth watering but the customer service was beautiful. She made us feel welcomed in a Goan style 😅 . I would definitely recommend every Goans to visit this place and try our Goan food from here . The only nice thing in this bar, was the atmosphere. We came for date night and we were looking for some nice wines, maybe some cheeses, even in higher price range. It took some time before we were even seated, after that everyone has better job, than give us some menu, one of them also ate some noodles on the bar in front of guess, when we were waiting. After quite some time we choose wine what was recommended to us, but when we tried it, it was anything but good wine. When we looked the price on internet the wine which cost us 30 pounds, cost 10 pounds...Which was not what we were happy about. I understand profit is needed, but that much? Also when we came, we were told by one of the staff that the kitchen is closing in 5 minutes and we cant order food. When another waitress comes in, about 30 minutes after and asks, If we want the food menu, for ordering the food. Horrible experience!

Wonderful restaurant. The food is very well prepared and tastes simply fantastic. A very good selection where all wishes are fulfilled. Everything tastes delicious, the ingredients are freshly prepared. The coffee tastes particularly good. The staff is very friendly and always in a good mood. You read our wishes from our lips. We can highly recommend this restaurant

A really great experience that you should have as an SMWS member! Excellent, unique whiskeys in a special atmosphere are definitely worth a trip when you are in Edinburgh. And we didn't expect the food to be so good either - a clear recommendation even for people who aren't absolute whiskey fans!

Best Buff Momo in town. Taste was authentic Nepalese. Food service was quick. Recommended to everyone.Had a great time.

I've had takeouts from all over Edinburgh and I genuinely think this place is the best. The best Thai at the very least. I love the panang curry especially. Good portion sizes and cheaper than most other places. Not much room for dining in but great for takeaway. Friendly service and lots of vegan options. Would definitely recommend.
