Sindhu served us. She was smiley face from the moment she greeted us and she served us on time and she also made good recommendations for the menu. İt is really what you news if you struggle to choice of thai dishes. Kudos to Sindhu.

The food was delicious, I liked the tom yum soup, it is spicy so if you can't tolerate spicy food you can either request a less spicy level or let them know they not make it spicy. Atmosphere was really nice, I highly recommend this place. Service from Zineb was good, she was nice and welcoming. I would not mind coming again.

I had such a great experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made it even better. Sindhu was so friendly, always smiling, and super polite. She was really helpful and made sure everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Milena provided excellent service. I would love to see them use authentic Thai jasmine rice for a better aroma and texture. Otherwise, the food tasted great, and I appreciated the option to choose the spice level.

We decided to come try Thai Express and left deeply disappointed. We sat and waited for 15 minutes to order and not a single server came to check in on us. Occasionally we’d notice the servers just standing around and still not approaching us. Not great vibe in the resturaunt either. Do not recommend.

Stopped in for dinner with my wife while visiting the city today. Not very busy, maybe 3 other tables sat. Sat around for 15 minutes without anyone coming to serve us until we eventually decided to leave after we saw all the servers just standing around socializing. On the way I out I stopped by the group of servers standing around and told them we were waiting for 15 minutes without service and the hostess said “sorry I was taking the other table’s order” pointing to the table next to us. I’m not sure how this explanation makes sense when they’re just standing around and the restaurant is mostly empty.

I am deeply disappointed with our experience at Thai Kitchen Restaurant. My family was turned away because our autistic child, who has specific food preferences, brought his own meal. This approach is incredibly disheartening and discriminating towards families with children who have special dietary needs. It's a shame that the restaurant couldn’t display an ounce of understanding or flexibility for those who might need an alternative to their menu due to medical or developmental conditions. This was a truly upsetting experience and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone who values inclusivity and compassion.

Popped in on route to cinema on Valentines night. Hadn’t booked but the staff were brilliant and managed to fit us in. We explained that we were short on time as the film was starting soon. Thai express food is amazing & they serve it very quick. The pad thai is amazing, go for greeen curry very spicy, you will thank me later. Kudos to Adhi, he is very attentive to our request and he really give the extra mile to our table. Of forgot to mention, this is our 3rd time here, or more!!

The kitchen was a disaster, more than 20 minutes waiting for a dish, and that was when the restaurant was not at full capacity, 10 minutes later they served it to me. At least they discounted the service charge. The pad thai was good, the bad thing is having to eat it in a hurry.

It's my first time eating in a Thai restaurant. As I have no idea about the Thai dishes I needed help from the staff .The staff team were too supportive . Especially , SINDHU she helped me for choosing the best options in the restaurant by providing detailed explanation of the dish. Which made me choose the dishes according to my choice. The dish that I got is super tasty as well. I highly recommend the Thai kitchen express.

We entered by chance while walking through the shopping center. We were served by a very friendly waitress, Sindhu, who explained the dishes to us and gave us all the details. We ordered satay pad thai and stir fry with beef and spring rolls. The food arrived quickly and we immediately noticed the smell of the dishes. Sindhu brought us the spicy aside. All delicious. I recommend it

We were craving ramen and went to the first place that we stumbled upon. It was one of the best food I've ever had. The staff was so nice although the place was full, they were very calm and caring with us. I would go back to Edinburgh just to eat there again. I 100% recommend. (visited in September 2023)

My partner ordered red prawn curry which he liked a lot. I ordered a chili chili Bangkok which tasted quite bad and had an odd smell to it. It also has a very weird after taste. I had to add loads of salt and pepper to make it somewhat ok. Service is great and atmosphere is absolutely fine!

Local located inside a large shopping center. Extensive menu in which you can order typical Thai dishes. We loved each and every dish ordered. We highly recommend the Pad Thai Satay. The service, however, can be greatly improved, especially since they charge you 10% of your final bill. We had to repeat to them to bring us the drink, it took them a long time to pick up our food to order dessert and the same for the bill, in fact we had to take the initiative because no one cared about us.

I've been here a few times now and overall it's a good place to eat, with some downsides Food - on the whole, most of their dishes are good. Everything is Halal, which is great. The dishes feel like they aren't fully authentic, the spices feel toned down for instance (even if you request spicy). I wouldn't recommend the red curry as its nothing like what you'd expect. It's more a creamy, coconut milk based curry which lacks the traits of a red curry. I even had to ask the waiter to make sure they gave me the right curry. Portion sizes vary but generally are pretty reasonable Service - the staff are definitely friendly but the service can sometimes be slow. The service has felt a little disorganised each time we've gone, with the service being sporadic and inconsistent. On one visit, they forgot entirely about a dish that we ordered and cooked everything else Price - it is a little on the expensive side, even considering its central location. They don't accept cash which is quite bizarre

if I could recommend a restaurant past present or future, it would be this one.

We were served by a boy who spoke Spanish and was very attentive from the first moment, we greatly appreciated it since we had doubts about the menu. We ordered starter rolls (not worth it considering the size and high price), and noodles. These were very good and it was a sizeable dish. The price seemed high to us (€30 per person), taking into account that it is still a noodle restaurant inside a shopping center.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, but I had the worst Tom Yum Goong soup. The topping beef was tough and fishy. I hope you change the recipe. It's the worst. For some reason, customers seem to be eating stir-fried noodles.

Food portion good and tastes well. Adhi's service is excellent, giving good food explanations and recommendations. Payment is helpfully quick, especially as we are rushing somewhere else as a tourist. It is just the atmosphere is a bit too dark/dim for us which we are not a fan of.

We had a wait time of 10-15 minutes but ended up only waiting about 5 which was nice. Staff were great! Very polite, attentive and quick in their service, especially for such a busy time of year. The food also looks as good as it tastes, some dishes even allow alterations on spice levels!

As of this writing the meat use is halal (picture attached). Flavour rather authentic to what I tasted in Bangkok but just less spicy. Tom Yum is missing something but not sure what. Phad Thai is great. Highly recommended. To find it's in St James Quarter lower floor at the end of the mall.
