We were here twice in our short visit in Edinburgh. The food and drink is consistently good, the atmosphere is hip and inviting, the music is just right and the service is great. It's always busy here, a reservation is recommended.

Love this place. Been for lunch on many occations with family. The food in outstanding. All you can eat card system green keep serving / red to stop. Salad bar, amazing cuts of beef ( fillet, sirloin, rump), pork, gammon, chicken, chorizo all cooked to perfection. Great selection of sides and deserts and drinks. Great staff can't do enough for you. Vibrant atmosphere

The steaks gave me a true meat taste, which is what a steak should be. The salad bar is truly complete with a bunch of options. Service and atmosphere are also great.

Enjoyed our meal, pity they have substantially trimmed the list of sides that come with the fixed price menu. Quality was good though, as was service. Surprise was the own-brand lager, very nice.

This place was a change of scenery for me and as it was a gift I decided to try it out when I showed up I instantly realised I was underdressed however I was treated great from staff everyone was super friendly and approachable the food and service was great I’d definitely do it again this is a must try experience

Fazenda used to be a fantastic restaurant, but they’re really lost their way. Meat cooked inconsistently, from blue to shoe leather, constantly trying to upsell, short changing people on drinks by over filling with ice. They really need to go back to basics.

This was a really cool place to visit. The atmosphere with very authentic and the servers were very helpful. The food was absolutely divine and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting Edinburgh or who lives in and around Edinburgh as well. If you like meat, this is the place to come!

I was looking for a place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and stumbled across Fazenda Rodizio...you guys didn't disappoint! It is on the pricier side but well worth it for the unique experience. We kicked off the celebrations with a bottle of LP rosé which was divine and some cocktails. The restaurant's lighting and candles gave it a romantic ambience. We went for the Full Lunch Churrasco experience and it was simply delicious! The variety of meats were cooked to perfection from medium rare to medium but if you wanted them to be cooked more you just had to ask. It is a great way to try a variety but you have got to remember to pace yourself. The service was wonderful. Our waiter Edward was so attentive and friendly. He also brought a little birthday cake to our table for my boyfriend which was a lovely touch. He truly made our experience. Thank you team for such a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back! 🤍

Staff were fabulous, kind and helpful and ensured that we had the best possible experience. Food is just the best quality however obviously it does come at a price but it is definitely worth it. Also £15 as a standard service charge is wild!

It's always an absolute pleasure. Great food, good beers, non-stop service (meaning there's always meat on your plate). Nice buffet, great menu options, veggie friendly, but there's only one reason to get there. MEAT. Remember: "How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat" (I suppose vegans can't, lol)

This was our first Fazenda experience and that was the option we chose from the menu. The atmosphere managed to remain intimate even at lunchtime on a bright and busy weekday. The staff were attentive throughout. There was a plentiful selection of cold meats, cheeses, fish and salad veg along with a selection of warm sides. The range of meat to choose from is exceptional. Eat as much as you wish at your own pace. As my husband remarked its not very often his appetite is completely satisfied when eating from a quality menu. If you're thinking of trying it, I hope you enjoy it as we did.

Came here for dinner for a friends dinner and in all honesty, it wasn’t good… it was FANTASTIC!!! The meats were amazing and the service was unreal! 2nd time of us being there and certainly won’t be the last. We’re accommodating of any needs and went above and beyond, 10/10!

Drove from England to Edinburgh for over 6 hours with my brother, sister and a little child. Having ate nothing we all decided to head to Fazenda based upon reviews in the afternoon to be told they were fully booked and to book in after 9pm as a few reservation will be available. So we decided to reserve a table for 9:15pm. We had ate nothing all day to make space for Fazenda. We turned up at 9pm to be told we won’t be allowed in due to a child under 5. They could have told us this in the afternoon but instead decided to waste our time whilst we were all starving. Not happy. Staff should be trained and told to advise customers the rules there and then instead of passing misleading information.

Terrible service from what is supposed to be an ‘elegant restaurant’. Would give 0 if google allowed this!

One of the best restaurants I have been to....the salad bar and the meat were delicious....everything I had was extraordinary....the atmosphere was lively and the service was outstanding and thanks to our waiter Adam that made it a pleasant experience at the restaurant..I would definitely recommend and come again

I heard a lot of good reviews about this place so thought we would go try it today. We went around 3pm and were told it’s fully booked and the next available table was at 9 and we would have to book it online. So we booked a table online. We got there and they told us because of their ‘children policy’ kids under 5 cannot go in after 8pm! Not once did the worker tell us about this stupid policy when she clearly saw a small child in a pram when we came at 3!! We wasted hours waiting for the booking! Never heard of a stupid policy like this before.

Remarkable experience! I have been to similar restaurants, but this one definitely topped the budget. It isn’t your average affordable buffet (even for me), but in this occasion me and my friend wanted to treat ourselves and we were delighted! The reception was smooth as we had a reservation, the place was stunning and bright. We had the evening selection, which included an endless amount of all the delicious meat served by the meat chefs crossing the restaurant and also we could help ourselves to the salad bar and have as much as we wanted They had this tuna salad which was stunning and their fries were to die for also. Everything was perfect, we were absolutely stuffed by the end and it was well worth the money we spent. And without forgetting the friendly, polite and gracious service Ali provided from beginning to end. We only had a little bill incident which she solved it right away with not much fuss. The toilets were very well looked after and clean.

The concept is really nice, with an open 'salad bar' and cold cuts, as well as, of course, unlimited meat. The meat itself was great for the most part, however some cuts were slightly on the overcooked side. For the price, given the amount of food you get, and the quality of it all, this is a very reccomended dinner location!

1 star for cleanliness, location and modern/rustic/elegant space. However, the meats were burnt, even the pineapple was served burnt, the fried bananas had an oil flavor and were served with pepper. There was a bald, dark-skinned waiter who speaks Spanish, who was very rude. The Brazilian restaurant only has the name and perhaps the owner, because the food is not Brazilian, and there were no Brazilian employees serving or explaining anything. They try to sell you the carvery, but it doesn't make it clear whether rice or beans and side dishes are included, and, if you don't ask, they don't offer it and it isn't served. I'm going to give a compliment to a Portuguese waiter who was very attentive. I paid £70 for burnt, tasteless meat. Never again!

I went to Edinburgh for my boyfriend's birthday and booked it for the day. We arrived two days early to enjoy the city and we took advantage and went to eat there before the booked day. The meat was not seasoned, the barbecue was bad and the feijoada tasted like curry. At the same time I canceled the reservation for Sunday and made a reservation at another restaurant. Unfortunately it was not a good experience.

I have been to Fazenda many times and I always get a great experience. This time I took my wife and sister in law for the first time and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We were served by Mohammad and Andreas who gave us an amazing experience. Andreas served us with so much happiness and love for different meats that are offered at Fazenda. He explained each cut to us and really went out of his way to make sure we had the most comfortable experience. The next time I go, I would definitely ask to be served by Andreas.

The food was excellent, nothing to complain about, just happy for the experience. The service was very nice.

Two of our friends came to visit and we recommended this restaurant for dinner, the next day they were travelling back home, but they got food poisoning with fever. It is very embarassing that we recommended this place for them. Would not recommend it again to anyone.

For those seeking high-quality, Halal options, this is the place to be. Fazenda Edinburgh is an absolute must-try, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m visiting.

At first glance, the location seems appealing, but upon closer inspection, it's a large and noisy space, making conversation difficult. There appears to be minimal effort in optimizing the acoustics. The meat at the all-you-can-eat Rodizio lacks quality and attention to detail. It feels more like a mass production approach rather than a focus on quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're seeking high-quality food or meat.

What a fantastic experience I had during my first visit! Everything from the food to the service was absolutely top-notch. The ambience was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a meal out. The food? Wow! I tried a variety of dishes, and each one was a delight. The charcuterie and cheese boards were just brilliant, and I absolutely loved the ALCATRA and BIFE ANCHO steaks. Each dish was bursting with flavour, and you can really tell the quality of the ingredients used. The drinks were just as impressive. I enjoyed a fantastic selection, which perfectly complemented the meal. Cleanliness is key for me, and this place was spotless — you could tell they take pride in their establishment. Last but not least, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we felt looked after throughout our meal. I can't wait to return and try even more from the menu! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

My daughter booked a table for my birthday. Friendly staff, excellent table service, loved the concept of all the different meats to try, plus the salad bar, plenty to choose from, the food was delicious. Restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

My son booked a table for 5 of us on a Friday evening as a late birthday treat for me. My word was it good. To begin the attentive waitress carefully explained the concept and gave recommendations on warm salads to order as side dishes and instructed us on the green/red card to keep being served more or take a breather. Once the instructions were out of the way the red clad passadores started delivering cut after cut of exceptional well cooked meat. The Passadores, dressed in a distinctive red uniform bring the cuts of meat on skewers around the restaurant and carve off slices for everyone showing a green card. It’s great theatre and a serious treat to the palate to sample file mignon, rump, sirloin, ribeye, wagu sausages and a couple of lamb and pork dishes along with a range of salads(?? For those who need a meat break, lol) I loved the variety and the excitement of sampling many different meat cuts, it does give a greater appreciation of the subtle variations to each cut. My favourite on the day was the relatively simple Gammon and pineapple, so so juicy and delicious. Special mention to the dessert menu, I loved the 5 Brazilians Sweet Treats which were quite simply 5 mouthfuls of magic. I loved Fazenda definitely 5 stars. As Arni said- “ I’ll be back”

This place was so good! We came for a special occasion and it didn't fail to deliver. It's an interesting system, you order a range of sides and dips which you can reorder at any point and then the meat comes round on skewers by your personal meat waiter / carver. They explain what is on offer and carve it for you, if you've had enough you can put your card on red for a bit, and if you want more, you put it on green. The range isn't just steak, there is lamb, sausages, and more. There is also a salad / cheese bar available to walk up to although we were too full to consider it. Wine was good with excellent glassware and we also were given a complimentary glass of fizz each as it was a special occasion. Would highly recommend 🥂

Great place all round. Our waiter was good and the main guy serving us our meats had to be one of the best servers we’ve ever had, very polite in and out quickly, he was just exactly the right balance of friendly and attentive but didn’t over stay. He had even checked on us after our plates were cleared and we were finished with our meats. Wish we got his name but he was tall, skinny, had a moustache and had maybe an English accent. The Lady’s who took our jackets and took us to our table also nice, professional and friendly. We opted for halal menu and got around 8 items from side menu plus 2/3 plates from salad bar. The cuts of meat were generous but not overly done as expected. Dessert menu had a good selection, we opted for cheese cake which was lovely! Atmosphere was also good. All that for only around £140 with an optional service charge included, bargain in our eyes! My girlfriend and I will be moving to Edinburgh next year and we know this will be a weekly staple for us.

What a wonderful and crazy experience! This was my first time trying out this type of cuisine and I was so full I couldn’t move! The food quality is superb and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Simply exceptional. The quality of the meats, salad bar, decor and service are second to none . The attentiveness of the staff to cater to each tables preferences without being overbearing is incredible. Also the grandeur of the location and quality of food without compromising the comfortable atmosphere is commendable. All the staff involved provide exceptional, friendly service ( Santiago being a standout today) . We've been many times before and will continue to return, especially for special occasions as nowhere else provides so much , without feeling elitest at such a reasonable price .

First visited December 23 and food and service was excellent but re visited end of August and was disappointed in the way the food was carved rather than being nice and thin the cuts were to thick and a few were a little tough and seems not a lot of attention and effort being made

This is a Brazilian steakhouse (rodízio), in Edinburgh. The carvery runs until 4pm daily and offers a small variety of meat, namely: rump, breast, sausage, picanha, as well as two cuts of questionable taste: sweet pork and beef with mint. The beer is good. The price was 33 euros per person for the carvery.

We try to visit fazenda every time we visit Edinburgh - unfortunately this time it was clear that some cost cutting has happened. The variety in the salad bar seemed to have reduced since last time, and the speed of the meat was a lot slower. We also noticed that the variety of meat being offered by the servers was mainly chicken and sausage - with meat options in between. We had to ask for the more expensive cuts like filet, which the server stated would need to be cooked to order.

You said 'Laura pronounced (La-ura) was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to the littlest details and effort to ensure the meat was coming to us just at the right speed not too fast or too slow. She was truly unbelievable. Thank Laura. Thank you Fazenda for a great meal for my gfs birthday. As well as Laura for making it even more special.

Avoid if you have a family ! Or make sure you read a page of t&c before you book. Kids under 4 not allowed after 6 pm yet they make you book and take card details with no problem as they have no option to show kids on their booking system. Manager and reception can’t be bothered doing their jobs and pretended to try find a solution, went at the back of the restaurant and came back to tell us they couldn’t take us . Would be nice to hear how a year old baby or a new born in a pram disturbs the ambience but a four year old does not , do you have kids ? Terrible service, useless management, and dear head office please open your mind and eyes as restaurant with higher standards and better food than yours accept kids at all times of any age!

A good place to taste different types of meat and they also have a variety of sides, both warm and cold. Very kid-friendly, our baby received his own plate and cutlery even though he is too small to use them. Bonus: good looking waiters🤭 Excellent service, excellent food. 'Unfortunately' I didn't eat anything in this fantastically beautiful restaurant. The ambience is absolutely amazing, the bar is beautiful, the service is quick and very friendly, absolutely top. The next time I visit Edinburgh I will definitely eat at Fazenda.

Second trip here for me, first for the other 3 people I was with. We were served by Alex P who was attentive and patient, including when he had to come over 3 separate times because we were deliberating on desserts. He had a smile each time still. Akshay was incredible -- he seemed to remember how each of us at the table liked our meat (kept giving me the caramelised edges, gave someone else the middle because she preferred rare), nothing seemed too much trouble. So patient, so attentive, just lovely. The service, cleanliness, music, ambiance, selection of foods -- all perfect.

The staff are rude, especially the receptionist.

We came here for an anniversary dinner and they made us feel very special. They have us a complimentary mocktail due to it being a special occasion. The waiters were always making sure you were happy with everything and didn't need anything. The food was incredible and they made sure we had everything we wanted. The atmosphere was lovely as well. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Douglas was amazing! he made sure that my food allergies are taken care of. he was very kind to make sure each and everyone of us had their favorite kind of meat. Amelie was very attentive and sweet. kept on checking in on us and took care of my special side dishes (food allergies). thank you for a wonderful evening Amelie and Douglas.

Something different in Edinburgh town for food experience. Have been to a four few of these type of restaurants in London but good to have a different restaurant in Edinburgh local. One minor issue is the staff needs to explain the system a bit more better and also need to employ more staff as meats were not coming as quick as we wanted and also considering the place was fully packed on a Sunday early evening the company defo needs to employ more staff for the frequency of meats being served on the table and quick turn around. All in all a good restaurant and reasonably priced as per its location.

3.5 stars. This is “Novelty Dining” rather than fine cuisine. There is big process, drama, and procedure to get food. It is a noisy, festive, and almost chaotic environment which could be good novelty for large groups or parties. Our waitstaff was too busy to explain the “details” which left us confused. However, after learning details, I knew that it was not our type of place. Around $250 for 4 persons (including drinks for 2) was ok…… but dining experience was theatrical more than tasteful. It is personal preference.

Great ambience and service. It's great getting a variety of meats.

Santiago, Daisy and the rest of the staff were super attentive without being overbearing. The food was amazing, perfect slices of meat without being too much at a time, and you could put your green/red card whatever way you wanted when you were ready for more. There was no rushing, we were well looked after, and it was the perfect belated birthday present from my partner.

Fazenda never fails to impress me. I have been here 3 times in different cities and the service is always top notch and the food is incredible. Both lunch and dinner service have varied options and the quality and quantity of amazing food served is an absolute bargain.

I'll be honest. Service was fantastic, restaurant looked great and couldn't find fault anywhere here. At the time, food tasted fantastic. At the time. Was in on Saturday 20th July for dinner. Multiple members of the group I was in said that they weren't feeling right and became quite ill on Sunday. I thought I had escaped but by mid-afternoon on Monday I became horrifically ill. By the evening I was very close to calling an ambulance. This was the worst case of food poisoning I've had.

Love this place for an occasion. Food is unreal I love the variety of meats and the experience is unmatched. Service lost a point on this visit for us we were sat late about 10-15 mins and then didn’t get the time extended on our table so we felt rushed if we wanted a desert sadly. Won’t affect my views will be back again tho!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant staff were great and food was brilliant

I recently visited Fazenda and had an amazing dining experience with perfectly cooked and plentiful meats. I had prepaid for a bottle of wine, and upon arrival, we were initially given a glass each. When I enquired about the bottle, the staff quickly rectified the situation and even gave us two additional glasses on the house, which was a perfect and generous birthday treat for my 47th. The entire meal was delightful, and the service was excellent. Fazenda continues to impress, and I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience!
