We loved our breakfast at Society! So good. And Katie was awesome!

Just what had hoped for. Excellent wraps, service & vibe.

Food was absolutely delicious, the environment was amazing and the staff was so friendly specially Dumi being so helpful giving us recommendations

We come on Sunday morning and it was lovely. Everything was top class and everyone who works there super friendly and kind. Virginia greeted us and showed us to our table, she was happy and have such good sence of humour. Sophie who was our server was very helpful on helping us to choose what to eat. All place looked very well managed and everyone looked very happy to be there. We had Vegan bowl and scotish fry and both dishes were very tasty. Green smoothie and chai latte were delicious. Thank you for amazing service to everyone who works in this busy place.

The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. Dumitrita was our waitress and she was wonderful! We had a window seat and got to enjoy breakfast with a view.

Very good food, a little expensive for what it is and unfriendly staff. We waited a good 10 minutes for the bill, when it didn't arrive we got up. The manager of the room abruptly asked us to sit down while waiting for payment. We asked to split the bill (there were 5 of us): the waitress was visibly exasperated because it was going to take time and what's more, we didn't understand much with the noise + the language barrier. One person ended up having to pay for the whole group. The waitress obviously took the liberty of adding a 10% tip without asking us. Rushed for time and the waitress, we didn't pay attention. In summary, good food but you can find better elsewhere.

Absolutely loved the yogurt bowl. The berry coolie added so much to the dish. The sandwich was ok. Cozy place, definitely a nice stop of you're in the area.

Great restaurant with nice vibe. We had a good time here thanks to Stefanie. She is super sweat and responsive. If you want to try something alternative other than traditional Scottish cuisine in the city, this place is absolutely a good choice. Both pizza and seafood are highly recommended.

Went in for a late supper. The staff is fantastic. Every table is a great one. This location is prime with lots of light, ambiance and views of the street (it faces 3 corners)without being noisy. Food and wine was fab! I had Seafood linguine and it was full of plump prawns with a tasty sauce.

I met a few friends out for dinner and we had an exceptional meal and the service was exemplary. Thea was super friendly and attentive. Great vegan options.

If you’re ever in the mood for a hearty Scottish breakfast, this place is a must-visit! Hands down the best Scottish breakfast I’ve ever had. The black pudding was delightful, but the haggis stole the show—perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, with incredibly attentive staff who made us feel well cared for. Even though we had to queue outside in the brisk, chilly Scottish weather, the experience was made all the better by the thoughtful waiter who offered everyone hot tea while we waited. It was absolutely worth it!

The staff were incredible from the moment we walked in! The host was so welcoming and informative and our waitress, Katie was absolutely lovely! I ordered the Green Goddess Salad (added chicken) and it was so fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the Chicken Salad, which I tried, and it was so well balanced with all the components! We could not have been happier with our orders. And Katie was so friendly — we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend.

I did not put any star for the food for one reason that when we arrived, the kitchen was closed at that time even though we enjoyed it. The staff was so welcoming.

We came in for breakfast, and had a great time. The food and coffee were perfect. Both Remi and Viki were lovely, great service and super friendly.

The food is acceptable and the place is reasonable.,,, but it is not worth putting up with the disgusting smell coming from the kitchen,,, the crowding, the silence, and the delay,,, it is not worth it. Unless you come at a time when there is no crowding, the situation may be different.

So good we went back several times! Everyone was delightful, but Stefani made our last breakfast even more enjoyable! My favorite was the Farmer’s Roll, with the yoghurt bowl equally delicious. Highly recommend making reservations.

Wonderful service in a very busy restaurant. The hostess and my waitress were attentive, arrived early, but let me seat and gave me a wonderful window table a few minutes afterwards. Then the food has arrived. The best egg royal I have eaten for a very long time, and the halloumi wrap was just to die for...

Good and friendly service, the food was also very tasty. The only thing they are allowed to change is the lighting. The light is very bright, which makes it seem less attractive, but otherwise it is a very good tent!

Katie was a great server today! The restaurant was busy and she made sure we had all our drinks and food much faster than expected. The food itself was high quality and really enjoyable. The atmosphere is always brilliant.

I love the open concept of the kitchen. We sat at a window seat overlooking the mall and it was great to people watch. Kate our server was fantastic. Very attentive and super nice. Adding to the fantastic experience was the true dog-friendly atmosphere. Our Labrador Bella, was welcomed with open arms, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Society Bar and Kitchen for anyone looking for superb food, great service, and a genuinely welcoming environment. Fantastic cozy corner with cool upstairs seating. Excellent brunch.

The waiters were very friendly, especially the man with the beard who was very jovial and welcoming. We were able to exchange a few words in French with him. The meal was delicious and we had a wonderful evening as a couple. We started with a cocktail, their Hugo spritz was excellent. I recommend the Angus beef cooked to perfection, a treat.

Donno what happens.. i have been to this cafe two times and something went wrong each time. Maybe its me, but i am really not coming back. The food is good and more or less varied. The decoration of the place is nice, but it was a little strange to be facing a window through which you can see people coming towards you as they cross the street.

We came twice and ordered the same thing both times, the food was delicious and arrived very fast, the staff were extremely nice, the atmosphere is very cozy and bright. 100% recommend it! The coffee is also very nice & smooth, compared to some other cafes in Edinburgh...

The Scottish breakfast was great. Blood sausage and haggis was spot on. The coffees were also very smooth. The cortado was perfect. It was packed for the morning rush for breakfast but service was quick and our waitress was super friendly.

Many dishes out of stock, parts of 1 dish were cold when they shouldn't have been, freshly squeezed orange juice was not freshly squeezed! Atmosphere and service were good but not going back for brunch.

The location is very nice and the food is good The price is very high for one person only (21 pounds).
