We were served by Georgie and she was the most wonderfully engaging, helpful person. I went with her recommendation! The good was delicious.

I love this restaurant. I’ve been a couple of times for dinner, pre theatre and yesterday for brunch. There’s a real friendly atmosphere, the restaurant is bright and cheerful and, most importantly, the food is delicious. It’s not overly expensive, I’d say it’s good value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Georgie yesterday for helping my sister make her mind up between 2 dishes! I’d highly recommend eating here.

Lovely food and service. Just a bit cramped and a few ‘bumps’ in the crowded space. All good though.

Stef was an absolute gem!! Wonderful service :) The green goddess salad was mediocre and not worth it but the vibes were incredible.

We’ve been coming here regularly for drinks as always made to feel so welcome by all staff and this time we had brunch. The choice of food was excellent and the food we chose was delicious - Eggs Benedict and Shakshouka. We were served by a lovely waitress Georgie, who was very friendly. efficient and polite. We will definitely return 😊 and would definitely recommend.

If you get a chance to experience Georgie as your waitress - please ask for her. She’s phenomenal and made our whole experience even better than we expected! The food was delicious and the view while we ate made this one of my favorite places to eat in Edinburgh.

I was immediately welcomed very warmly and shown to my table, Sanaz took my order and she was absolutely lovely, just very attentive and friendly. Food was exactly what I needed, tasty and filling, overall would definitely recommend as a go to brunch spot!

Society was a lovely restaurant. Our waiter Stef was even lovelier, she was so kind and welcoming to us! As tourists to Edinburgh we really felt welcomed by Stef’s service, kindness and suggestions as where we should get tea one day. We also loved the restaurants warm atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back!!

The food was very good, they served food from other places and also typical food from Scotland, so its great for either you as a tourist or as a local, also the service was amazing, Dumitrita made us feel welcome, 10/10 experience.

Very charming place within the city and we really liked the atmosphere. Attentive service, the food (brunch) is varied, but as throughout the city, the prices may be a little high, and given that it is not a high-end restaurant as such. We liked it a lot, but there are details to improve. Good luck!!

Great location, great service We have been welcomed by Sanaz, who was ready to help for everything. She offered us a great table with beautiful view to the city. We loved the egg royal, salmon was fresh, the bun was great not like other restaurants. As for Shakshuka, it’s okay but it could be better. Sanaz offered us to change it with another dish if we want, but we kept it. Recommend it.

Our experience was a bliss✨ we visited place 8:30 in the morning without reservation, kind staff gave us a nice seat under the window, food was great tasty :) Its bit pricey, but absolutely worth the money. Breakfast here made our start of the day the best, thanks🖤

Whilst staying in Edinburgh for an evening we managed to dine at the Society bar and kitchen twice. Once for cocktails (the Scottish coffee was great) and the next day for brunch. Atmosphere was great both in the evening and for brunch, staff super friendly and helpful especially Sanaz who kindly helped my girlfriend decide on a brunch dish and was attentive in refilling my filter coffee throughout our visit. Friendly place, food choice and quality awesome. I would dine here again.

Stopped in here on our UK tour for a quick spot of breakfast, since it was conveniently close to the Waverly rail station. The decor was tastefully modern, clean, and welcoming. Comfy chairs with good views of the bustle of the city. Wife and I both got the Scottish breakfast. Everything was amazingly delicious and generously portioned; definitely would recommend. Staff were super polite and helpful, and even watched our luggage for us while we ate. Shout-out to our server (Sanaz) for her attentive and courteous service!

Had breakfast with my partner this morning. Beautiful decor and very attentive staff (Dylan). I opted for eggs angus and my partner the eggs florentine. Both were absolutely delicious alongside to large lattes. Highly recommend!

Went to Society first stop after getting off the bus from the airport for brunch. The service is great (we had the pleasure of having Dylan being a very attentive and nice host to us). We thoroughly enjoyed the interior and our time there, can definitely recommend!
