The best restaurants in Bathgate West Lothian Edinburgh and Lothian

Was introduced to Luna Caffe as my family raved about it. Now every time I visit them I have to eat here. Amazing pasta, genuine friendly service and a truly local feel. I am slowly working my way through the menu and every dish has been tremendous. Dog friendly and BYOB so everyone is happy. Thank you so much to all the staff and I will see you again in September.

We had dinner last night at Vim and Vigour with a big group of friends. What a fabulous night we had, all sharing and enjoying every single tapas dish we ordered for the table. The food was so tasty and every dish came to the table piping hot. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff, especially as some of our group eat Gluten free…even the chef came out to check everything was going to be okay. Bravo!! Five stars.

First visit for all of us….fantastic! Staff were very friendly, very attentive! We were shown all the different cuts of steak. Order was taken very quickly, prawn starter I had was very tasty. Three of the party had steak, everyone enjoyed them. One person had salmon which she said was good. Everyone enjoyed their dessert.

Spent a superb afternoon yesterday as a birthday treat to my friend. A warm welcome, staff were excellent, attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were amazing as always. Fabulovely!! 💕

It's always too busy to get a seat. I have had to get take away and eat it in the car the last 3 times i appeared

Very disappointed today. All coffee shops closed at 5pm or earlier today and I found this little nice Artisan Cheesecake to get a coffee. Came at 5pm, you have open till 6pm but your staff disappointed me as being told 1 hr before close time that she cleaned the coffee machine and cannot make me a coffee while coffee was on offer on board! I wanted to buy the bagels too but really left the shop. Won't be back again!

The chicken and veg and chips were ok but the dry powdery lumpy mash was really bad. My friend had to mix it with the sauce on the table and even then it wasn’t very nice.

Left a similar review before but the lamb rara gosht here is quite simply the best curry I have ever tasted ( and I’ve had a few ) the flavour is amazing , a must try if you visit

Fantastic breakfast, the haggis was amazing and is a rare treat for me.

I brought my mum here for coffee and lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The service was great our coffee and food was lovely. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

Food and service first class. Only down side is that we came in and wasn't italian music, (was like the waiters had their own playlist on) had to suggest frank sinatra. Ended up with his Xmas songs. Would definitely go again but needs better atmosphere.

The breakfast could have been better , the beans were cold , the potato scones were dripping in oil that much we actually dried them with the napkins. I had to ask for cutlery and then again for sauce . I found the price a little expensive also
