Great food. Not sure where the one star review guy went but wasn’t here as this restaurant doesn’t have a buffet

Very expensive for nothing exciting. Brunch for 2 adults and 2 children over £40. Staff excellent 👏 but food and service definitely not worth the money .

Ive been here many time and the food is amazing! Especially the buffet is a bargain for £9.99 adults and kids £4.99 must try. The service is always exceptional.

I along with my family went out to try buffet at Rasul restaurant and am totally disappointed by the food and service they provide. The food was worst with poor food quality and service, they don't even provide tap water. We suffered from food poisoning after eating that food.

The owners are wonderful and have such a passion for what they do! Their service and the interior is stunning. I love their mango lassi, chicken Karaih, and lamb Karahi. The Karahi has a longer wait time but it is definitely worth the wait. In all honesty, the only one thing that I would recommend for improvement is that the food taste should remain consistent regardless of who cooks it. There has been certain times that I have gone in to have my favorite meal from them and someone else cooked it that is not the owner, and it was not nearly the same. That can be disappointing for the overall experience, so I suggest that is worked on. I have decided to give a 5 out of 5 despite this area of improvement because their food is that amazing and the owners are so lovely! I highly recommend this place, I think everyone should try it!

We tried mixed grill and garlic chicken chilli curry. Food was good and served hot but the service was slow and also refused to give paratha which was in the order as they said the kitchen was busy although we were the only customer sitting in. The bengali guy who served us was exceptionally good and also helped take our pics. 😃

Restaurant food is really nice but the takeaway is absolutely revolting and inedible. Had takeaway 3 times now and its just so bad. Chips always raw and never cooked, chicken nuggets like concrete. Everything is tasteless when it comes to the takeaway food

This place is a must, the food was èxcellent the service attentive. We were a party of 5 and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The Garlic Nan was proper none of this garlic paste nonsense you often get...all fresh ingredients which make for an exquisite food experience. 5 stars. Fully recommend this place.

I had Desi Nashtha with my family, we had chana puri halva, aloo paratha, desi omlette, desi chai, desserts. It was delicious. Service was outstanding.

We were staying over in Livingstone for the weekend, and wanted a Desi Halaal option for an evening meal. We found Rasul, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Afghani Karahi, and we loved it, the Mango Lassi was great, and my son enjoyed the chicken nuggets. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was also great. If you're looking for a Halaal restaurant with no alcohol this is one for you. Although I didn't use the facility, but they did say that had a place to pray, so that was a bonus. If I'm ever back around this area, I would definitely be back, and try a different dish

I thought that the coffee was a real let down after such a delicious meal and sweet! Only 3 stars for atmosphere as the place was empty on both occasions of our visit, but I could see by the layout that it could be quite a 'party' place! 🎉🎈🎇

The food is lovely and I'm addicted the nihari, as soon as they see me they know to put it on lol we also get the lamb birihani. The spiced onions are also brilliant and at £1.50 very reasonable.

I visited Rasul recently for breakfast and overall it was a good experience. I ordered a range of dishes from the menu, all which tasted great. However, most of the food arrived lukewarm to the table. The paratha was also on the cold side.

Loved the food, omg it was delicious and lots of it. Chicken was cooked perfectly, I'm such a food critic but couldn't fault the food, service or restaurant. My only tiny tiny negative review was there's no music to create an atmosphere. Although my mum, daughter and myself did go around 3/3.30 for mothers day.. definitely would go back. Very reasonable prices too.

First experience of Rasuls , went for the desi Nashta , the nihari with the halwa/ puree / channay plus an aloo paratha . Service was very slow , felt sorry for the waiters on a Saturday afternoon , restaurant was full but simply not enough staff to support , the restaurant needs to address this as service impacted . Food was decent overall , the purées were too crispy though , should have been softer . Nihari was nice but only one piece of meat in the dish , appreciate restaurants need to cover their costs , but that was ridiculous . The paratha was nice but nothing special . Portions as a whole were small for the price you were paying compared to other restaurants in Glasgow / Edinburgh that do breakfast.

Called to cancel order quickly after ordering online. I got a horrible woman being aggressive on the phone telling me I can’t cancel! t I had the driver battering my door and wouldn’t leave, trying to force me to take it when I said I won’t be be paying for an item I haven’t received. Also it’s very clear you’ve got your friends and family to leave you fake reviews! The r restaurant is always empty! Nobody eats there. Staff sit at the tables doing their paper work for everyone to see through the window. It’s no wonder your business is failing. They’re lucky I didn’t call the police for harassment!!!

Nothing fills you with joy more than good quality food and when you are in a new city with less halal option. Had the best karhai and daal makhni. Garlic nan and other option were of same cost, so we optd for garlic nan.

I dined here tonight for the first time with my family. It is one of my favourite restaurants now. The choice and quality of food is awesome. The drinks are delicious. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The prices are also very reasonable. I will absolutely be returning and recommend it to everyone!! If you love Middle Eastern or Desi food then give it a try!!

Been here twice and a different curry dish. Both great. Staff couldn't be more helpful. There midweek lunchtime might be busier at night. However others there having breakfast or coffee/hot chocolate. Amazing choice on tge menu.

Visited the restaurant to celebrate with family and neighbours. The menu was huge and had items from many different cuisines but mainly Desi (Indian/Pakistani) and Arabic. The desi dishes were authentic with the taste of karahi close to what you may get being in those countries in the Punjab region. Barbecue ribs were tender and delicious. Best Naan I've had so far. Baba ganoush was similarly delicious. Family run restaurant and all members were polite. The place is big and beautifully decorated. Will be picking up loads more from the restaurant.

Best takeaway in west lothian! 6 or seven order's now never had a problem. The curry's are amazing also recommend the mix grill.

Popped in for the lunch special. A panini and drink of your choice for 3.99... really good value. Food etc. was good, and the staff are all friendly and attentive. Will try soon for an evening meal. Would recommend. Its a big place so lacks a bit of atmosphere, however if it was busier it would be a really great venue... so try it out 👍

Food is amazing, love their pizzas 😋 and the dessert bar is my favvv 💗 Their service is really good. 👍As it was a last minute plan we weren't able to organise a birthday cake for my brother. Visited fully halal restaurant today and was thoroughly impressed. Firstly, the mocktails are a must-try. The Lemon & Mint, refreshing with just the right balance, but it was the Mango & Lychee that truly stole the show. Unexpectedly delightful, it was a tantalizing blend that left a lasting impression. Moving on to the Mandi and Grill, every bite was perfection, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambiance was the cherry on top. Spacious and airy, it can easily accommodate a party of 200, making it a fantastic venue for large gatherings or celebrations. Highly recommend!

My second visit to Rasuls and I must say I am loving this place. They have a variety of foods served by the friendliest of staff. The compliments also go to the chef who prepared the delicious food which was on point. This is a must visit for anyone looking for a simple coffee and cake to fine Turkish, Indian cuisines and desserts too.

Popped by today for a desi breakfast. Well can I just say, it was lovely and authentic. If you haven’t been, you don’t know what your missing out on! Lovely family run business. Look forward to visiting again very soon!

Absolutely lovely restaurant, very friendly staff and most importantly the food is 10/10. Travelled from London for work and was recommended this place and have to say was not disappointed. Had grilled fish, Chicken Jalfezi and tandoori roti. Very tasty. I think the owner of the restaurant is also a fantastic guy and hope he doe’s really well.

Bathgate has a hidden gem here. Great staff and service the desserts are awesome and 🤩 check out the décor

The food was very nice and the staff were friendly. I personally recommend the shwarma but I'm sure all the food is tasty. The prices were also very fair for the amount of food you recieve, would recommend.

My Sister and myself were looking for a snack and came across Rasul’s my sister suggested we try the food. Yes we didn’t have a snack as planned but my sister had pakora and a bowl of peri peri Chips, While I had Lamb chops and Chips everything was freshly prepared and the food melted in the mouth I cannot speak any higher of the food I certainly will be back again and again.

I had a great time at Rasul. The atmosphere was cozy, the service impeccable, and the food, especially the Indian Curry, was outstanding. The restaurant was clean and safe. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Since moving from London to Scotland we have really struggled with finding authentic tasting cuisines. Rasul’s did not disappoint. It was the most authentic tasting we have had since moving here and the service was unbeatable. We’re so glad we’ve found such a treasure, so close and will definitely be coming back again.

Chicken Karahi is a must try - absolutely packed with flavour. You can tell the chefs are passionate about their food. Highly recommend!

Great taste, quality and services

I keep forgetting to review this place but whenever I do I have already eaten the food and have no pics(will add more as I go ) Straight up the place is litt The food as authentic pakistani food can be which is amazing. I would definitely recommend trying this place I have eaten biryani in particular quite a few times. Its very nice with the right amount of spices and taste . The raita that comes with it has very nice kick to it and compliments the biryani well. I think price wise it's reasonable given how everything is expensive nowadays 10/10 recommended

This was the second time that I have visit this restaurant... My first was breakfast which was absolutely awesome a good flavourful tasty breakfast. This evening my family and I had dinner... The meal was freshly cooked, full of flavour and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are big and you will take some home for the next day 😀.. the staff is absolutely friendly... I was approached the entire evening by many of the staff members asking me if all is good and if I needed anything and if I was ok ... This was the greatest gesture... Well done Team Rasul... Unfortunately I can only give u 5 Stars but you deserve more... God Bless and wish u guys well.. Thank You

Came here for some desi breakfast. The food was phenomenal. The pooris were lovely, the naans were warm and soft. Channay were some of the best I have had. The food was definitely worth the price. Came from Edinburgh, will definitely be making a return as well as recommending to others!

This restaurant is amazing. The food is freshly cooked, the flavours are fantastic and the dishes are so well made and seasoned beautifully. The staff are lovely and their customer service is first class. You can tell they really care about good food and that their customers are looked after . I went for breakfast and will definitely be going back to try the many different options available. It’s a unique place.

I came with all my family including young kids and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff provided excellent service and were really friendly. We tried several dishes from starters to main. We all particularly enjoyed the chicken pokora, chicken karahi with roghni naan. The mint and mango mocktails are really refreshing and flavoursome. I highly recommend this restaurant and I would definitely come again.

Excellent food and the Shawarma was very tasty, not salty and very clean. One suggestion would be a thicker chilli sauce as the thin tomato based chilli sauce is very common in West Lothian. All in all very good, fair price and good service. I will be back for sure. :)
