OMG....my daughter has just phoned to ask if we had Chinese tonight (which we did) She orders every Friday Night bill £50+ They got order wrong tonight On phoning back To let them know One cheeky ??? ..said she read order back One not so happy mamma Well there's 2 family's that will not be back Such a shame As we have never had any problems what so ever All they had to do was apologise Instead of being cheeky Absolutely 💯 Disappointed

Polkemmet Road Customers: The best Chinese in West Lothian by a long run. Food is next level good and the customer service is fantastic. Returning customers are definitely valued here and it shows. Nothing is a hassle. We order from here a lot and often make slight changes to our order including no veg. Never a problem. Very rarely has anything even been wrong and when an error has occurred we have been given so many apologies and goodwill gestures have been given like a free bottle of juice. Very high standard. Highly recommend. Thank you for always being great.

Food taste not bad but portions are smaller and smaller …shrinks ! Rude lady and very unpleasant when placing the order over the phone ,just horrible attitude.Delivery not consistent with the order ….never again!!!

Put order in while passing. Was told 30 mins to wait there or 1hr delivery so thought great gives time to put kids to bed. 2 hours later and numerous calls even and still no food. Was told 30 mins ago it was on its way. We are just down the hill from Whitburn so clearly a lie. My food tasted ok as not hot just look warm however wife has salt and pepper chips with batter and salt and pepper chicken. Both soggy and did not taste good at all. Won’t be rushing back after this! Had a similar experience 2 years ago and it was 18 months before we considered them again won’t be making that mistake again.

Good food but it's cash only which I didn't like.

Chips are reheated. Got my order wrong never notest till I got home. The girls who were serving were very polite tho. Will give them one more chance

First time here a friend recommended them . Not impressed chips were yuck and beef massive lumps and chewy wee bit disappointing

Food is lovely and staff are really friendly. Have used this Chinese for a long time now and never had any issues.

Food is amazing always get a Chinese from there, however I'm quite disappointed, I asked for rice and 2 bags of chicken balls,instead I got one bah of chicken balls and one bag of chips, I ran in to tell them and they handed me another bag,saying it was the other bag of chicken balls,to then realise when I was home that they had given me another bag of chips, however I went back not long ago and they gave me my chicken balls free of charge for the inconvenience🤤❤️

I always said best Chinese in Whitburn but my meal tonight was bad chips were reheated my chicken in pekingese sauce was horrible and rice was bland chicken curry was disgusting and I used to go here regularly but disappointed tonight

Was really lovely, hot, only thing I can say is Cantonese sweet sour chicken needs a little more sauce, soft noodles could be the thin fine ones much better overall tasty!

Normally we have an excellent meal from here, but sadly tonight's wasn't so great. Prawn crackers were definitely not fresh, Beef with green pepper and Black Bean sauce was lacking in sauce and flavour, and the King Prawn Cantonese style was just ok. Will still go back as normally the food is lovely must, just be having an off day

First time ordering a takeaway and it didn't disappoint. Lovely crispy chicken with lemon sauce...sweet and sour chicken was great too. Will definitely be ordering from here again !

Can't stand reheated fries... full of grease, chicken curry was oily and bland!! Definitely won't be back. Plus after waiting 50 mins to get delivered which it can be if its busy but it was cold.

Excellent as all ways but the price has went up but not by much since the last time I was there. Still great value for money

I recently went again and still found the food to be of great standard, by far the best in town. The staff are always helpful, you can also see it being cooked. It gets quite busy maybe phone ahead order. Not a lot of space in shop front area so wheelchair access can be tricky if busy but pretty sure staff will assist with ordering.

Food is really fresh. You can watch the chef's prepare your meal whilst you wait. Prices are decent and staff are friendly.

Used to order from here all the time, however it has been slowly going downhill. Perhaps getting too busy? The quality of the food is lacking, portions have become very small and much much saltier than they used to be.

Food is out of this world *****

Got a delivery that was half an hour later then advised. Chips were soggy and cold, crispy shredded chicken was cold, Bolied rice was stuck together in a solid clump. Missing items, when I called i was told missing items were getting sent right out away. 30 mins past and items still not arrived. A very poor effort on a Sunday evening from a takeaway that used to be great. I shall be looking for a new local chinese takeaway. Wont be back to this less than average place.

Ordered from this place.the order was half wrong.phoned to complain as our meal was ruined and the cheek my partner received was unbelievable.wont be ordering from them again.and the meal was cold.

Loved the curry the food is great and the prices are very reasonable

Excellent freshly cooked tasty food with an extensive menu.

Once was a great place to eat, now unfortunately there very hard at hearing when told instructions on how certain food is specifically asked to be made over and over again everytime i purchase a delivery the order is 9/10 never what was asked for seems they prefer to cater there best services to pubic store entrants. Slowly but surely going down hill 👎👎👎👎👎

Everything is lovely. Crispy shredded beef is amazing and the Duck Thai Red curry is my fave. I asked for mushrooms in my beef chow mein, no problem. Was only a pound extra or something.

Fantastic food really fresh every time. Unfortunately because of lack of card machine (in this day in age, is unacceptable) and no online resources such as just eat or scoffable make it difficult to want to go there because of extra effort involved in getting food. And why on earth is it the only Chinese or takeaway almost anywhere closed on a Tuesday is a mystery. All this means missing my 5 star rating

I ordered 3 things, king prawn and mushroom, prawn toast and salt & chilli chips, the chips were really nice, then the king prawn and mushrooms had no Prawns and just mushrooms in!!! Then my prawn toast was just a box with prawns covered in cheese. Absolutely fuming, biggest waste of £12 in my lift, would no recommend, plus the lady who was serving just sat on her phone instead of serving

One of the best takeaway I have ever ordered food from. But that is not a surprise for me, chinese takeaways in West Lothian provide high quality on a daily basis. Great food, well made, tasty and pretty big portions. Highly recommend trying.
