could have been a bit hotter but very tasty

We were in Bathgate to collect something and we were starving. We were going to walk past, but decided to go in. What a gem of a place. 2 double rolls and 2 cappuccinos later we were satisfied. That staff were so cheerful, nothing was too much trouble and table service too. We always support local businesses wherever we go. May I say that 1 of the previous reviews said that it is expensive for a coffee, no it's not, to be able to sit at a table, have your order taken, your order brought out to your table and all for under £15, I would rather pay that than stand in a queue, be treated like cattle and have my coffee from a paper cup, just to save a few pennies. I would highly recommend The Coffee Club in Bathgate. Thank you guys for a great brunch.

Food was very greasy. The tattie scones were inedible. Scrambled egg was okay.

It says I visited here. I didn't. I visited the MUCH cheaper coffee shop next door. Baguette Express. I can't afford to remortgage my house for a cup of coffee out of this snoby place. Lol.

We waited over an hour for this delivery and unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. The chicken wrap was just folded over, not even wrapped so everything was falling out, the chips were wet & soggy. Price was good though, just could've been better

Food was tasty, only suggestion is don't put cardboard in a plastic bag.. Was all soggy by the time it got to us. Food was still delish tho!

Best produce around. Never had a bad experience or a bad dish from them yet and have ordered many many times by now. Stovies are my hubbies fave and I'm partial to the cooked breakfast but the kids love it all too and if u fancy a scone....They're HUGE 🤣🧡

Only one portion of scrambled egg was delivered. Everything else was good.

Everything in the order was great bar the chicken, was pretty tough and bland unfortunately.

Driver took so long food was cold, not a fault of restaurant though.

Stopped off here for a breakfast while visiting another establisment in town. The wife had a bacon roll with a decaff coffee the roll had a generous filling. I had a breakfast consisting of bacon, links sausage, beans, potatoe scone, hash brown, fried egg,toast with a hot chocolate enough to set you up for the day. Would recommend to anyone and will definetely come back.

The service was excellent, the food was okay. It's a nice place to stop for a cuppa 🤗

Food was amazing. Highly recommend the toasties and panini's! Chips with cheese and curry sauce were unreal too. Reasonably priced and delivery was spot on! Thanks for making our afternoon, Coffee Club :)

Very slow service. 25 min wait for food and serving recent patrons before those already waiting. Had to complain before food arrived. No one has any speed. Tables not properly wiped between guests (no sanitisation). Used to be a good place. Severely disappointed in the down turn

Staff are nice enough especially the wee older lady and man... Food ain't so great chips taste vile the macaroni is tasteless and like rubber the 6oz burgers are like rubber.. Morning rolls French toast nice enough very Dissapointed but seems a busy wee cafe

Met up with family member for afternoon tea. Great service by a Tom Cruise lookalike (aka Charles) & enjoyed a wide range of sandwiches, scones & cakes. The tea & coffee were constantly refreshed

We are regulars to the coffee club and always look forward to coming! The food is lovely, fresh and amazing and to be honest you couldn't get any better than it (oh and the toasties are the best!). The service and staff are lovely and never fail to put a smile on your face and asks how your day is going. It's certainly has a cosy welcoming atmosphere. I cant wait for my next breakfast! Deffinatly reccomend.

Highly recommend! Couldn’t think of anything negative to say if i tried, this is now my favourite cafe in my area! it has such a lovely cozy feeling, Staff are very friendly and attentive, They always make sure you are okay and go above and beyond to give you the best of service! The food is amazing, it’s always fresh and tastes great, the staff are amazing and if something isn’t your taste or style the staff are happy to change it to meet your needs! (example i only wanted lettuce in the image below for my salad). Some of my favourites are the Homemade Soup, Toasties and The big Scottish Breakfast! would highly recommend! we are regulars now in The Coffee Club as it is such a cosy place, can’t wait for my next breakfast, after lockdown!

I and 3 of my friends visited the Coffee Club for afternoon tea. Beautiful selection of food in a lovely environment, great service and great price as well. I cannot recommend this place more highly, and will definitely visit again.

This must be one of the best , friendliest cafe I have been in,from customers to the staff who look out for each other I stay in Edinburgh now but my dad likes this place so much he has alzheimer's and now and again his memory bad but they call me let me know hes ok and waiting for me even the customers let me know where he is ,I thank yous and we cant wait to get back. 🙂

This is a nice little town centre restaurant, with a reasonable menu. I was very disappointed to find that at 1230hrs - lunchtime, they had no steak pie!! However, I settled for fish and chips as an alternative. The restaurant was quite busy, and service was reasonable. Prices are average, for this standard of outlet. I would be happy to visit again, when I am next in Bathgate.

Staff are friendly, service was fast, food was very affordable and tasted great. The cafe has zero pretentions. Perfect for grabbing a quick coffee or roll. Just don't expect anything fancy.

Just had takeaway Lunch from The coffee Club Café and I have to say it was the best French Toast I have ever had. Really nice place to eat and the staff are lovely. You'll be missing out if you dont try it. 😁👍

Went in for a breakfast and right away noticed a very unwelcoming vibe. Waiter came off very aggressive and not patient at all! Not to mention they made remarks at end of our meal that "it was a waste" even though the food was mostly eaten. This waiter also continued to give dirty looks. Food was nothing speical, our food order was all mixed up and food was definetly not fresh and mostly soggy.

Really good food freshly made to order. The only place i go in bathgate. Good prices and a vast range of options and friendly staff who are efficient and attentive. 5 stars from me

Have visited this delightful cafe I can highly recommend this cafe. With friendly and helpful staff, customers are made to feel at home. With a recent redecoration and refurnished with new customer toilet, this cafe has been a fixture in of Bathgate for years and remains in my option the best.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Cafe very clean and a pleasure to sit in. Very reasonably priced. It's in the main town.

Great cafe and food but my only complaint is that when you come to pay for the food the price you pay can vary depending upon the person who takes your money You can work out the price from the menu and it will be right if the guy takes your money But if you pay the older lady you will be charged more This has happened to me on three occasions nowAs the general staff and the owner is nice I don't like to complain but certain members of the staff have problems counting/using the till My advice to you is eat here as you won't be disappointed but make sure you pay the guy for your food Or be prepared to pay more than you should if you don't want to complain

I always pop into this cafe when i visit Bathgate. The food is delicious and you always get great portions. It's not expensive and the staff are always very polite and welcoming. You know it's a great place when it's when the place is never empty of people coming in to eat. If you are ever in Bathgate i highly recommend popping in.

We did not have high hopes for this place, its a wee bit basic inside and out but we got a very warm welcome and our food was good and moderately priced ... well done.

He venido aquí con mi mama por un par de años ahora al menos una vez a la semana el personal es siempre impresionante y muy amable y la comida está siempre a punto, sin duda recomendaría el día desayuno. . Huevos revueltos y tostadas. y el chocolate caliente coronado con crema es para morirse sin duda probarlo la próxima vez que te pase no te decepcionará

Have been visitng this lovely wee cafe at least once every week for about 5 years. The burgers and toasties are delicious and the service is first class. One of the best cafe's in Bathgate!

Just love the coffee club food is excellent and great value for money staff are great nothing is too much for them they always aim to please I visit every Saturday morning for my breakfast wouldn't go anywhere else in Bathgate and would highly recommend to anybody looking for somewhere nice and pleasant to eat in Bathgate

Brilliant restaurant, staff are all extremely polite, helpful and sometimes a wee bit mad!! We try to go in at least once a week. Would highly recommend this restaurant

Just popped in with my 5 year old after visit to doctor for cuppa and 2nd breakfast. He was happy with his toast but my scone was pretty awful - certainly not fresh which is how they describe their food on the menu.

...only been in once a few months ago. Vinyl table covers with 4 rusted metal clips that obviously havnt been removed for a clean in a long time, surrounded in ground in dirt!!! Bacon rolls ok but got charged for a pot of hot water to weaken my tea, and got charged full price for a 4 yrs olds half cup of tea.......definitely wont be back
