Had the Thali which was great and had vegan options for our friends who loved it as well, great food and service overall

Sat at the table for over 20 mins and watched as 3 other tables get served before us despite us being there first !!! What an absolute joke of a place , I’d like to say I will be back but I won’t !!!!!!! Now to post on trip advisor.!!!

He visitado el café muchas veces y NUNCA decepciona. El personal es amable y la comida es muy fresca y el menú atrae a todos. Un montón de asientos y se puede sentar sin sentir la presión de salir rápidamente. No puedo entender las críticas negativas y puedo ser crítico yo mismo, pero no tengo nada negativo que decir después de docenas de visitas.

Had a good night, but two young guys were vaping. Asked them to stop but they continued. The bar staff seemed to know them so they seemed not to bother with our request to stop. Will go somewhere else next time.

I don’t know if we just visited this pub on an odd night but our experience here wasn’t the best. The vibe in the pub didn’t feel very welcoming, the staff seemed tired and unhappy, the butterbeer wasnt great, and there was an open mic night of sorts happening which was chaotic and was a bit of an earache honestly.

Maybe I'm jaded after having lived in New York for 4 years, but this business says New York style bagels and they most certainly are not. Very mediocre and overpriced bagel. Their veg cream cheese is very good, but overall I wouldn't return.

I think she was the manager,Annie, who was so lovely and helpful, was the best customer service I've had at a dessert place in Edinburgh. Yummy

Decided to pop in here from working late in Edinburgh for a simple chicken curry fried rice. The chicken, rice and curry sauce all had barely any taste to it which was the first thing I had noticed, this was followed by the chicken having a very weird soft texture to it which was easier than normal to bite through for chicken, was told this could possibly be due to the way they boil the chicken at first so not thinking much of it I continued eating. Even in my very hungry state I couldn’t manage to finish the food. I then spent the next 4 days in bed, unable to eat or stay stood up longer than 5 minutes without being on the verge of passing out or vomiting. I am just now feeling slightly better after 4 days of constant diarrhoea and vomiting. I have been unable to go to work the past 2 days and will no doubt have to take tomorrow off as well as I still don’t think I’ll be fit enough to carry out physical labour. Can’t fault the service at all as we received our food relatively quick and the server was polite and helpful. Unsure if this was just a dodgy batch of chicken but after doing some research, all my symptoms line up perfectly with salmonella food poisoning. Eat at your own risk

Wir haben auf den letzten Drücker in der Silvesternacht 24/25 noch einen Tisch ergattert. Uns ist schon klar, dass man da die Tische möglichst oft voll kriegen will....und dass man versucht möglichst viele Menschen gleichzeitig setzen zu können...nun...es war eng, laut und hektisch. Aber vielleicht ist die Silvesternacht auch kein repräsentatives Datum. 2 von meinen 3 Gänge waren nicht gut (langweilig und kaum gewürzt). Mein Mann fand sein Essen okay. Ich denke, ich würde hier nicht mehr buchen. Und : es ist tatsächlich ein völlig alkoholfreies Restaurant (sogar der Wein!)

Almorcé en esta cafetería el 24 de febrero de 2024. Mientras la ensalada estaba sabrosa, el sándwich de focaccia contenía múltiples piezas de plástico. Inicialmente, asumí que la primera pieza en la que mordí era una piedra pequeña, pero después de encontrarme con una segunda, escupí una tercera pieza más grande (aproximadamente 2 x 2 x 3 mm) que se parecía a un trozo de plato de plástico roto, cuchara o encimera. Dejé la otra mitad del sandwich intacto. Cuando informé de esto a una empleada en la caja, ella solo ofreció una disculpa, sin sugerir un reembolso o investigar el problema, ni tomó medidas para retirar los sándwiches de la venta. Realmente me sorprendió que ni siquiera me asegurara que se lo pasaría a su gerente / personal de cocina. También escribí una queja al café el mismo día, pero aún no he recibido respuesta. No puedo recomendar comer aquí debido a preocupaciones sanitarias y mal servicio al cliente.

I asked specifically if there was onions in the sweet chilli chicken as most bought in ones do. I have a onion intolerance I was assured by the staff member there wasn’t onions in the mix - when taking a bite I was unsure and the after the second I tasted a onion and then looked through the mix and there was onions I spent the next hour and a bit vommiting. I would hate for someone who was actually allergic to be told wrong information. It is shocking, staff should know what is in things or if unsure check the ingredients before selling a product, I would have just had a ham and cheese and wouldn’t have been a waste of money and me being ill. Staff member was really nice which made this more of a let down.

Un café muy agradable y relajante en el vestíbulo del Capital Theatre en Nicholson Street. Ofrece sándwiches, ensaladas y sopa, así como algunos dulces. También sirve alcohol. Buena comida y personal muy amable. Precio razonable. No se necesitan reservas. Uno de mis lugares favoritos. ¡Recomiendo!

Gone. This place has now regretably closed its doors. A pity it looked intersesting but this place changes often, perhaps due to its location , which is on a side street.

The first time I came, I was disappointed by a drink that tasted like just orange juice but keep reading. I later went again and tried a different drink and I am so so glad I gave it a second chance ! As a boba/tea/yummy drinks lover, Soho Tea is honestly the best out of the 15 boba places I have tried in town ! I keep coming back to Soho Tea, so by now, I know most of the drinks on their menu and 99.99% of them are absolutely delicious and really unique ! The price is average, the quality is amazing, the shop is open everyday until quite late (and it's very pretty and clean and calm), staff is super friendly and you can choose how much sugar or ice to have. I particularly recommend the strawberry mochi drink, it has so many layers of different textures and tastes 😋 the mango sago and the grape drinks are also really good. The classic brown sugar boba milk tea is a good one too👍 anyway. Just go there and find your favourite :) oh, never tried it but apparently they do delivery too

Great quality Asian desserts and Korean chicken wings!! I'm a taro addict and this is currently my favourite dessert place to go. Their desserts are not super sweet and their taro buns were also superb. Definitely earned a loyal customer! :) thanks for your service
