Best Indian food in Edinburgh. Never had Indian food with so much flavour even the poppadoms are better than any I’ve had. Happy laddy with a full tummy here.

Delicious food, polite service, fair prices. Today the restaurant was serving a large group of men so we were warned that we would have to wait a long time - we didn't wait long at all. Thank you very much.

Fine Fish and Cips restaurant, but other good and tasty dishes. Prices slightly above average. As well as serving dinner or lunch, the venue also offers a warm pub for an aperitif.

Expectation/reality It tastes nothing special and doesn't look great - different from the photo on the Deliveroo app

This is an absolute hidden gem, right in the heart of Leith! I've been for brunch, lunch and dinner - and Bijou has surpassed itself every time. Would highly recommend visiting! Staff are super friendly, food is fresh, innovative and well-priced, and the cocktails are great, too. They have live music and events on sometimes, as well. What's not to love!?

Great boozer we usually go their when dundee united are playing hibs. our bus gets booked in the management & staff can't do enough for us, foods amazing

Came in for a night cap based on recommendation, lovely spot with great whisky choice, good beers and friendly staff and locals. Hope to pop in again soon

We've been going to Fishers at The Shore for many years... It has always been top class and today was no exception.... Simply the best

The atmosphere is amazing! Feels like your in a Paris bar! The fish and chips are amazing!!! Staff are great - definately recomend!

Tiny place, excellent food, great service, good value, what more could you want? I had Monkfish in Prosecco Batter, the batter was the lightest I'd ever had, delicious. I'm recently back from Sicily so couldn't resist the Linguine Alla Puttanesca which was perfect too, much better actually than a similar dish in Sicily.

Our cruise ship stopped in Edinburgh and we wanted to find a place off the ship for lunch. One of the bus drivers mentioned Porto & Fi and we walked over. We found the restaurant to be excellent! Food and service was way above our expectations and we only wish it was around the corner here in Huntington Beach. Service was excellent and watch out for the desert! Great lunch!!

Fab little cafe in Newhaven, just off the tram terminus. I visited twice on this trip to Edinburgh but I have also been on previous occasions. On one occasion I had a bacon and haggis roll. And on the second occasion I had a full Scottish breakfast. Both were absolutely delish! The decor is the cafe is very quirky and the staff are all lovely. The only slight downside was that the coffee wasn't that great - but the food made up for it.
