Great little Place just off the beaten track. Definitely full of character and a great choice of whisky's, plus a good selection of pints too. Plus all at great prices too. There is hot food on offer too, from pies to toasties & possibly a few things in between. The staff are an excellent bunch too, Great service with a smile. They host many Live music session every week, from the blues jam on Wednesday nights, 8-11 to full on Jazz nights & some bands in between too. Plus a pool table with plenty space around it, for those tricky shots. Definitely worth a visit & a place that i am sure many folks would return to time & time again.

Old pub which could be quite charming.. Unfortunately the inflated Leith prices don't match the ageing decor - and the toilets seem to have never been cleaned 🤢 As a result, there isn't much of an atmosphere as people are likely going elsewhere. Also the pool table is rubbish. Very lovely staff though, and a great selection of beers.

A bit off the beaten track, but this pub is worth a visit. Its a proper locals pub, a nice laid back vibe and plenty friendly banter. It is one of those places where you go just for quick pint and you end staying for few. Good selection of beers from local brewers like Pilot. Good selection of whisky/gin as well.

The patrons treated us like regulars! Picked up our Vrbo keys there, telling us it was a bit sweary, but they'd help however. Kirstie took care of us & Miss Carol served us Tennon Beer.

Our crazy Texan family was there on holiday for only a couple of days & we left there feeling like family! Ms. Carol, Mr. Carol, (Russ😁) and Ms Kirstie, y'all are the best!!! Thank you for the wonderful Scottish welcome and hospitality!

Hidden gem of a pub serving beer from several local breweries like Pilot, Campervan and Newbarns. Friendly staff from the minute you set foot in the door with an eclectic mix of pub goers. Had a delicious brisket bun too. Very sensible prices for food and drink too and brilliant tunes!

Top service from a friendly bar crew and great banter no matter what time of day you pop in. There's a pool table and a dartboard, with a lounge area through the back. Perfect for a small private party or just a wee bit extra space if you want to escape the bar when it's busy.

One of the best pubs in town, such that I'm not sure I want to share. Landlady Ceceley offers an excellent range of local beer and whisky as you'd expect. But there's also the best tequila, mezcal and indie bottled whisky for a hundred miles. Prices are extremely good. And they'll do you a toastie, stovies, pies or incredible hotdogs. Doesn't get much better than here. Just don't tell anyone.

Amazing pub, the landlady is a keen musician. I went for a session to play, and it was fantastic she gave us food and was really sweet met some of the locals too . Great place

Recommend the Leith Juice super tasty, loved the vibe, everyone was so kind and friendly, Calum was a delight!

Great place, good for bourbons and local beers. Bartenders are very nice and chatty specifically Calum, what a G. Leith Juice IPA is recommended.

Very nice meal an presentation was great. MINCE PIE WITH PULLED BRISKET chips an petit poi's peas. It was the ultimate for me.

We stumbled upon this place on new years eve. We were made to feel so very welcome by customers and staff alike.

Manager is the kindest guy in Edinburgh. I once was destitute, walked in and asked for cheapest thing I could afford. How much. Very little. Told me to sit down. Brought over a pint and a hot steaming pie.i teared up. Local team playing on telly, so must be in good mood. Under offers for sale. I hope new owners are also in understanding, Leith people are kind often eccentric and stick together

One of my favourite bars in Edinburgh. Staff and clientele are friendly and chatty. No pretensions. Dog friendly and they even give you the odd scotch pie for free on the weekend.

Possibly my favorite locals pub I’ve been to in all of Scotland. Friendliest bar staff, great local dudes telling stories and having pints together, weirdly appropriate bright lighting, extremely reasonably priced beers, and it wasn’t too crowded! Will go back in a few weeks when I’m back in town!

Lovely, genuine, friendly pub with experienced, friendly and welcoming staff. Could not recommend more highly, fish is very good for Friday lunch, paninis are good if you need something quickly. Proper community pub, they even do dominoes although Frank is going downhill...
