As usual, their cookies are the best..what made is perfect this time is the friendly staff and their great service for Sunday afternoon shift.. although the shop was “roasting” because of the weather and the working oven , but they were smiling and dealing with customers in a very professional manner… Ben’s cookies are lucky with their team …👏👏

We went today to grab two cookies as we waited for the bus. No line or anything behind us, we get in, say hi to the staff and take less than a minute to decide between ourselves which ones we wanted. Idk if it's cause the shop was warm or the staff was overstimulated, but the blonde girl in a very passive aggressive tone told us to "tell her" which one we wanted, implying that we shouldn't talk amongst ourself for two seconds to decide? I think she realised how rude that was as he tried to laugh it off. If I had registered what she had said I would have walked out without buying anything. So absolutely rude. Idk if she thought we were tourist and didn't speak English, which would have made the whole thing even worse. I hope her day gets better, cause she was obv upset. But firstly you don't take it out on customers, and secondly, 2 pounds a cookie? To be treated like that? I understand if there was a queue, but literally no one was waiting behind us, we just wanted to have less than a minute to choose. Def won't be coming back. You can get the same in other shops and the staff won't be so rude for no reason

I bought it before closing yesterday (13/04) Fantastic smiling friendly staff, heavenly fresh soft cookies with ice cream are the most perfect, you can't dream of anything better, and the coffee was a lifesaver. I even bought a box of cookies on the way home, but I will come back many times. Thank you

I got the oatmeal raisin cookie and I have to say it is absolutely delicious! Soft, sweet and cinnamonny! Very polite customer service :), the place also smelled wonderful which is a plus while u decide which cookie to get.

Went into Bens cookies today. I have not been in over 2 years due to having a baby. First thing I noticed was wow the prices have gone up a lot in 2 years. The girl pulled a very judgy face. Customers can see facial expressions. I said it's not your fault, it's just I cannot afford this. Please let your staff be aware that sometimes your judgement can make customer feel really uncomfortable especially when you need to admit that you cannot afford to buy anymore. I was expecting prices to have increased but unfortunately that had increased more than I anticipated.

I bought the dark chocolate chunk to sample and went back a day later to try a couple more. One of the staff offered me a box of seven that were a day old and discounted. My taste buds and stomach were thrilled. Loved the milk chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk, orange and milk chocolate and found the matcha and white chocolate chunk and the praline and milk chocolate better than I expected. Found the white chocolate chunk tasted like, what Americans would call, a sugar cookie. Still plan to try the peanut and milk chocolate and the triple chocolate chunk. May 10... several return visits later I wanted to note that the triple chocolate chunk is good and the peanut and milk chocolate is my favorite. Also just tried a scoop of their chocolate ice cream, and it is damned good.

Was so surprised to see Ben's Cookies in Edinburgh! I am so used to seeing them when I visit London it was just amazing!! We bought a small box of cookies which was 7 cookies for £11. It sounds pricy but as a treat and the quality and portions you get it is well worth it. There are lots of flavours including ones which are specifically vegan which is great. They are all so fresh and suitable to eat for 4 days after purchase! We bought milk chocolate, chocolate and orange and coconut ones and I can't wait to go to my parents and share the rest with them! Yummy!

I saw people eating these Ben cookies so i went to this place myself an bought two chocolate chip cookies as well an eat them on the bus on the way home they're bloody good to eat i am going bk to ben cookies tomorrow afternoon to get 6 cookies to take home. I went back into this place yesterday and got seven cookies five chocolate and two white chocolate cookies 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋, they are so good to eat.

Bought today the 7 cookies deal but several of them were stale and definitely not as fresh as those I buy regularly from Ben's cookies in London. If you don't sell your stock quickly enough then remove it from display. It's just common sense. Your customers are not waste disposal bins!

Go in there just for the smell!! My boyfriend enjoyed his double chocolate one as it was rich and had a lot of chocolate in there. I had the white chocolate and macadamia nut which was nice but the toppings aren’t all throughout the cookie, there is a round bit of chocolate in the middle. It is more a cakey, chewy cookie.

Nice cookie! Worth trying😉 It smells so good and tastes soft! And the size is quite big. (But still a little expensive 🤪) I recommended ordered 1 pice for 2 people share.

Walked past while shopping so popped in for a cookie. It’s a tiny place with no seating so it’s only takeaway. I ate mine in Starbucks a few doors down. They have a big selection of cookies to chose from as well as ice cream and drinks. The pice it’s very reasonable. I went for the plain milk chocolate. The cookie itself was nice but I’ve had better. It wasn’t quite soft enough in the centre and was ever so slightly over baked. If your walking past then definitely give one a go.

Friendly staff, cute little unit, amazing food!! The cookies are simply outstanding and the accompanying drinks are similarly great. A wide variety of lovely flavours with soft inners and crisp outer shells. Obviously fairly niche but if your looking for cookies, a hot drink (milkshakes too) or ice cream then this is your place.

Tasty but the staff are ignorant and rude . They now have one single vegan option but the woman thought it was ok to use the same tongs to pick it up as those used for dairy . When I mentioned this , she was rude and told me it makes no diffrence because they are all baked together however her brains could not grasp the lesser of evils concept. So they are in effect advertising something as vegan when it is not. Stop selling it as such all togetther then . I'm not surprisd that Ben's cookies don't have an easy way to get in touch and raise concerns . I would advise people who are on a serious vegan diet , or not on a kosa dairy day to avoid this place. I would also advise those with alergies to avoid as they appear to take the mixing of utentiles lightly which can have serious effects in the case of alergies. Maybe that is the way in less progressive places .. Buy a plane ticket then and set up shop in lands that value an age free of ,much in the way of enlightenment and culnery progress fit for a inclusive world .

It was alright. Staff were friendly enough and there was a decent selection of cookies to choose from. I bought one cookie (Triple Chocolate Chunk) for £1.70. It was better than its equivalent from Millies Cookies but well overpriced for what it was. I expected more. Personally, I would go Marks and Spencers where you can get five for £2. Just as nice and just as chunky.

A huge fan of Ben's cookies ever since I came to Scotland a year ago. The perfect blend of soft, chewy and a mild crunch in their cookies. The staff are very sweet and helpful too. The only downside is, it's a bit expensive to get very often and the options are always the same.

The UK trip has definitely given us mouth-watering experience with this ben's cookies. They are very delightful, at one moment, you take a bite and it has dissolved in your mouth the other moment...hmm...yummy Okay, they are not really light to your pocket, however they are so morish, and you want to buy more, no worries...BEN'S COOKIES provides you with offers of buying no of cookies to get other free like 3+1 or 5+2 or 10+5 or something...so simply grab those offers...and yeah tin boxes sre really not at all necessary...those cardboard boxes are very easy to carry...even back to India...we managed or rather forced ourselves to save some cookies for back home (actually, we brought good no. of cookies for back home only, and yet it was hard to resists to not to eat them whily you are travelling)... Actually, my cousin took two boxes of 7 cookies for her freind and we brought another two boxes of 15 or something cookies for our family...and they were all so flattered... They are true definiton of yumyum

We’ve been here a few times now, only found out recently that they have many locations throughout the UK. The cookies are so soft and delicious. You can go wrong with a milk chocolate chunk, but they also have many other delicious varieties. I would say, these are my favourite cookies I’ve had since living in the UK. Defo stop in and get some to take home.

It's a great cookie place in the heart of Edinburgh. Not too many options, look like American style of cookies (I thought they were quite chewy and soft), I got the hazelnut and milk chocolate one, it was more like a biscuit (crunchy) than a cookie. It tasted really nice. They offer good deals if you get cookies and coffee. Definitely going back to try another one!

Couldn’t resist a soft baked cookie when I see one. So when we saw Ben’s Cookies along Princes Street, had to pop in to take a look. Ordered a Cranberry with Milk Chocolate Cookie. Wow, it was so very delicious, a little crunchy on the outside and so soft inside! Told ourselves we will return to get more. We went back in the evening and bought some more to enjoy in the hotel...yum yum! Go get them!

Just love the cookies, the peanut butter one is something unique!!! But the ice cream is not good...

Amazing Cooke’s and customer service

With a limited amount of offers, Ben's Cookies still manages to fulfill your appetite if you're looking for a quick snack. These cookies are quite American styled, meaning they are still a bit soft and chewy inside and big in size. My friend ordered a Cookie Monster - vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate/orange cookie - where as I did not feel up for chocolate and went for the coconut cookie. I loved it mostly because it wasn't so sweet as the other options, and it wasn't a dry cookie either. It was exactly what I wanted but had they not had this option I wouldn't have ordered something. While the cookies are baked to perfection, it was the limited amount of options that got to me. I like a small menu, as it often suggest that whatever is sold is also good in quality (and these cookies are!) but when not wanting chocolate you are immediately reduced possibly nothing or that one non-chocolate option. A bit of a shame.

You know, it's funny. I'm not really a cookie person. I can walk past other high street cookie shops without batting an eyelid. But there was something about this place, as I walked past Princes Street. It drew me in. I think it was the smell. It was just intoxicating. So in I popped, and I was greeted by an incredibly intense cookie dough smell. It was delicious! I was greeted by one of those baking cookies at the back of the store, and I made my choice - ok, I chose several flavours. All for testing purposes, you understand? The cookies are all delicious, and come with a gooey texture and a wonderfully moreish centre. If you like cookies then this is a must visit place when you're in Edinburgh. Team it up with a Milk Shake, from just round the corner, and you're on to a real winner of a day!
