It's a Wetherspoons, good prices, pretty hectic service. It is what it is for Wetherspoons. Sometimes, the staff look totally disinterested.

Had lunch here and the staff here made us feel so welcome. Says something when 2 ladies who were having coffee have been meeting there for 18 years. Really enjoyed our lunch and by the number of customers it,would,appear to be a popular location. We did not stay there but witnessed two hotel guests arriving who were given a very warm welcome.

Ordered a takeaway from here a couple Of weeks ago. Food was lovely, there was an issue with the lateness but dangal have been very accommodating since and would definitely order and eat here again!

Excellent service and amazing food. I have never had anything but excellent food from Abida. Due to unforeseen circumstances with the delivery driver my last delivery was late and I mentioned that in my order and was more than fairly compensated. Amazing customer service!

Had a lovely Sunday lunch / tea food was great drinks took a while to come when ordered through the app but it was busy. The one let down was table 28, the pub was so busy we had to take table 27, all the time we were in the pub probably 3 hours plus they took all chairs from tables 26, 25, 24 and 1 from ours they then vaped continually, it started discreetly with one woman but by the time we moved tables to get away from it, it was most of the table, apart from the younger children, yes some of the teenagers were vaping. They got that loud that although watching man united Fulham game we had to move as they were unbearable. I thought it was illegal to smoke or vape on licenced premises but the staff walked past ignoring them maybe the licence holders or premises supervisor needs to be refreshed as to the law in scotland Mark

Absolutely fantastic meal enjoyed on 8/3/25. Delicious food, and friendly, helpful staff, including being very attentive to a member of group who’s gluten intolerant. Love the simplified menu, and will definitely be back.

My guilty pleasure when I'm at home, kids at school, and I want to have a carvery and am too lazy to do it myself

HOPE THE OWNERS SEE THIS!! So this is the best Chinese takeaway but there's a catch they only open when they want to so it's so frustrating 😞 on busy days like Friday/Sunday and I wait for hours hoping that they open . And there's no way contacting your phone number just rings out So the food here is amazing but just wish they update there open times at least please Thank you

From ordering to delivery - the people are consistently lovely - especially the man on the phone taking orders - plus food, of course is delicious 👍❤️‼️

In for a meal with friends last night, restaurant quiet but service and food were excellent The staff were polite and efficient, we all enjoyed the wide selection of delicious food from their menue

Food was ok and for Edinburgh on price point for what you get. Not amazing value but city dining. Service was lackluster and slow. Took a long time for food to come out and the children in the party was getting hungry. What should be good east to get ice cream for them was also difficult and more complicated that it needed to be. Never checked in to make sure out food was alright and if they could get us more drinks so not very attentive. Would be a bustling busy place with a good atmosphere when the rugby is on however with the proximity to Murrayfield.
