It's a Wetherspoons, good prices, pretty hectic service. It is what it is for Wetherspoons. Sometimes, the staff look totally disinterested.

Standard Weatherspoons cuisine. No surprises, nice decor.

Best Value for Money in town. What a great place. Awesome food , you can tell there is that little bit extra love in it ! Go on.. Get in !

Cracking afternoon in the pub catching up with old friends

Rather incompetent management when kitchen runs out of fish on Fish Friday. Bar manager gave the excuse that there was a problem with the fryer but cooking staff words were, no some clown forgot to order enough fish. Strange they could still serve burgers and scampi. Poor show !

Visiting the restaurant despite completely full we found a table, ordering and paying through the app., food excellent, Scott who prepared the food let him get the praise 😉

Wetherspoons is not to everyone's taste but we liked it. The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The area is main road so quite noisy, traffic wise. Location is good, not far from city centre, plenty of buses. Staff were great.

Very decent and great value for Edinburgh

This is one of the best Spoons I've been too. Food, beer and wine all very acceptable and at a price that doesn't hurt the wallet too much. Always a favourite of ours when visiting.

Room fresh and warm. Staff very welcoming on arrival. Good nights sleep had by all. Will be coming again.

We have stayed in many hotels in Edinburgh over the years. One prestigious city centre one was particularly disappointing, however our recent stay at The white lady in Castorphine has changed our opinion of a good value hotel within easy reach of city centre. It provided cleanliness, nice staff and overall value rather than the higher priced city centre hotels who command a higher price to the uneducated tourist. Great value, we will return.

Amazing the room was so big me and my family had a great time

We had a great stay here, Edinburgh is 15mins away on the bus 26 or 31 (£2 each) rooms are nice. Slight noise hum from cellar cooler or something but it's not bad. Nice area of Edinburgh, will stay again one day 👌✨😊

clean cheap drinks what's not to like

A great place a really nice stay. The only issue was the cold and wet room. A lot of condensation formed on the wall. During our stay. Otherwise great staff. And a great location

Everything was fine, with the exception of the windows being drafty and noisey (although the room retains heat no problem), the bedding is too small for the bed, and accessibility well the stairs in this place want to end me.

A very well priced and performance hotel. Clean room, hot water, stylish design and very cheap breakfast. Also, 3 different buses to the city centre pass from a very close stop.

Beer Festival but no beers! Most seemed to be off. Tables dirty and sticky covered in empties. A really bad experience.

When ordering food, remember that it's a lottery. Depending on the cook, you may get something reasonable or something very tasty. Please do not explain this with high traffic and low prices, because it is very unprofessional. Fortunately, the management service works well. It's a pity that employees who have a lot of responsibilities do not care about the cleanliness of, for example, tables. Maybe you need to hire more staff? It's similar with the kitchen. The grill is either cleaned too rarely or not thoroughly. Sometimes the burger cheese comes out completely "raw" and the burgers smell of dirty and burnt grill. Other times the burgers come out hot and well prepared. I would like to thank the kitchen staff who work hard, because only thanks to them I sometimes take the risk to visit this place again.

Bar and food are what we've come to expect from Spoonies. Quick, efficient service, tasty food. We stayed over, the room was to the front of the hotel, so it was a little noisy. Great location, handy for buses to town and airport. Has a carpark for those with a car.

The location is good for access to the airport, check in ok and reception was friendly. Beds and pillows comfy and shower hot. There is no lift , so if you're on the second floor that's 4 sets of stairs. The BIG negative was the noise of an outside exhaust fan ? from the kitchen ??ALL night and skylight windows that didn't close completely to even try and keep the noise out. Tip if you are going to stay here check the proximity to the exhaust fan unless you have great earplugs.

The hotel isn't extraordinary, but it's a nice stay with family or friends. You can easily eat out at the restaurant downstairs.

We enjoy coming to this wetherspoons instead of the ones in the centre of town as the service is good and it's normally pretty quiet.The menu selection is also good and should cater for pretty much everyone PLUS the drinks are cheap....Have a wander in,its quite a big place as well with plenty of seating

Good value, handy having the car park at the rear which was free to use. Breakfast was cheap, but they ran out of strawberries both mornings! And had scrambled and fried eggs, but ran out of poached eggs? Room was a fine though. Road noise was quite loud.

Great location, staff attentive and food not too pricey

Very good, family-run hotel with an extremely friendly hotel. A full shower cubicle in the bathroom would be desirable, otherwise the rooms are perfect. I would particularly like to highlight the pub directly attached to the hotel with great food at really reasonable prices; the selection of beers and drinks is terrific.

Noisy but cheap! No loud music and pleasant staff. Also food is good value for money.

Food was worse I ever had,but it was packed and really busy cooks probally peed off. Room was OK,except we had 2 skylights but only 1 blind. And the toilet is so close to wall,if your not skinny you gonna have to sit at a slant. But it's a weatherspoons, it's a 3 star hotel and that's what you're getting. But the bed was comfy so no complaint there or on cleanliness or service. Bus stop outside to the center £2 single,from airport get the return £8 cheapest. Walking to center about 50 mins,some sights on way I.e curry field etc etc.

Wetherspoons has a tried and tested menu. You know what to expect in quality, price and service. Long may this continue.. The White Lady does not disappoint. I used the app for ordering and paying and the meals arrived promptly. Does have a somewhat small carpark behind. In a world where it is all too common for spices and recently more and more pepper is being added to food; it nice to find a couple of items that are not so cursed on its menu. They are hard to find! I had one item, butter pan fried chicken that had so much pepper in it that I had to return it. No mention of spice or pepper. It was exchanged without question.

Nice enough room and comfy bed, the food is varied and great value, drunks are quite reasonable to.

This pub has a menu we haven't seen anywhere else in the area. We went around 5pm and a Sunday and the pub was busy but we were lucky and got a seat at the front window. I'm glad we did as we went passed through the back area and found it very cool . The food was ordered via the app and we were served quickly. We enjoyed a chicken kebabs and drinks deal. Excellent value.

Arrived very early morning due to a delayed flight. Night manager very pleasant and helpful. Could benefit from easier access at the entrance and to get to rooms, a lot of stairs. Room noisy due to traffic on main road. Breakfast next door, was really good value and great variety of options

Never thought a hotel with a pub at a main road so close to the airport could be a quiet haven, but it can! Enjoyed my short stay before an early flight very much and will be back, as also the quality is very high for a moderate price. Couldn't test breakfast, but I'm sure it would have been worth it as well.

A bit noisy, but this the only disappointment I can say. Crew is very kind and the bar has very good breakfast at reasonable prices. The free parking of the hotel is a serious blessing at Edinburgh, where park your car is essentially horrible. Hotel is not at center, but not too far of it neither the airport. I would sleep here again.

Very nice hotel, with romantic and evocative rooms. The staff, fast, friendly and efficient. In addition, it has free parking, something very valuable in Edinburgh and also the details of breakfast. The only drawback is the lack of insulation from street noise, with a lot of traffic. To repeat, in case we see the ghost.

Nice place to enjoy a cheap and hearty meal, have a beer to cool down and be in 5-10min to the airport! The rooms where really clean and comfy for the overnight stay we had.

The staff here should not have a job.the manger has got issues with females. Every time me and my friend go in for food and drink a couple of hours later they refuse to serve us.we were talking to 2 complete females and they went to the bar and got refused drinks because they were talking to us. So when we asked the manger said we were drunk went to take his picture and he said if you take it I will phone police. Took the picture and left

Went on a Tuesday and got a very nice steak at a very reasonable price.

Nice hotel, the only bad thing is that they don't have an elevator.

A nice hotel and pub with good food. Conveniently situated from the Zoo and airport bus.

We were just killing time until the zoo opened so opted to go here for breakfast. You know what to expect with a Spoons breakfast so can't complain, all came very quickly once ordered on the app. Place was also clean & quiet, great to be able to sit down here for a while before moving on. Location was also handy as we got off the airport bus and it was only a 10 minute walk to it.

Very friendly hotel, clean room and everything available. The PUB bar which does breakfasts in the morning is super welcoming, I loved the breakfast with lots of options for vegetarians and vegans! I recommend 100%

Stayed at this Wetherspoon for 3 nights! Rooms are clean, big and comfortable. Walls are a bit thin but that’s ok! Well located between city centre and airport. Bus stops to both are very close.

We stayed 3 nights there. Guys, this place rocks. Wide and eleganty furnished rooms. There are many free tea, coffee, and snacks, and they replenish them every day. The staff were super helpful. The city centre is within the reach of a max. 20-mins bus ride, where you can take in front of the hotel.... And the restaurant has a huge menu with ridiculously affordable prices. Everything I ate was tasty.

Stopped here for a few nights visiting Edinburgh, the room was superb,very clean and the pub itself is very good with very friendly staff,will definitely be back

The room was very clean, modern, spacious and stylish. It exceeded my expectations. So handy for an airport drop at 5am and the pub was great for a pint and breakfast. All the staff were helpful, there's parking at the rear and the facilities were just super clean and well looked after. I would definitely recommend The white lady for a visit.

Wetherspoon has several locations. This is located near the Zoo. Bus stop in front of the door and there is a bus to the center almost every 5 minutes. They have a nice big pub. Was pleasantly full every day. Menu with lots of choice, we had breakfast and dinner there twice. It was really delicious!

Stayed by for 4 nights, room nice, but bed noisy, room cold as other have said but our problem was noise from outside, with window shut clear conversations outside and deliveries, wed night bins collected at 10pm, 4.30am and beer delivery at 7am. Food and drinks traditional spoons quality, and value. Great transport links to city and much cheaper accommodation.

This classic Wetherspoon pub is located on a main road leading from the airport into the city. The food is okay. I would have a cheeseburger that was a little bigger than at McDonald's. However, you could count the fries on the side on the fingers of one hand. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good food. Quick wait time. Will be back. Bouncer could speak a bit clearer next time.

Avoid this place at all cost, got racist treatment from the bar staff!! Manager of course took the staffs side even though the female member of staff with pink coloured hair was clearly lying out her teeth.

Best bit was being in the toilet stalls and a young guy was trying to find his friend and was knocking on all the stall doors. He managed to get one open and let's just say he wasn't met with his friend, but the biggest F Off I've ever heard. Was incredible Also enjoyed the mixed grill

Came here after a dismal attempt at the Livingston Wetherspoons, I have to say this is soooooooooo much better than there. Fish and Chips were excellent and piping hot as were the onion rings and Chicken Strip Burger. Cookie crunch to finish. Excellent service, Excellent Food, great experience.

What's not to like it's a cheap meal and cheap pint in Edinburgh you know exactly what you are going to get from a good choice of food and drinks

There is parking available for guests. The inn has a fantastic restaurant where I had the amazing breakfast on both the day I stayed. The prices are quite affordable too. The restaurant manager doubles up as the person in charge of allocating the room. Thus ring the ball at the reception counter and wait for him to assist you. The rooms are really beautiful and the bed soft and there is sufficient mode to heat the room in the cold nights of Scotland. I had no complaints whatsoever and had one of the fascinating time here. Except that maybe I drank a bit too much due to the hospitality. lol. But hey who cares on a Holidyay

Worst restaurant experience ever. If you have food allergies, go home or somewhere else. Food allergy section of app is not working and the onsite big screen stops working, restarts and asks for PIN code. It only handles the Standard 14 allergens anyways, which isn’t helpful for me. Waitress is as unfriendly and unhelpful as one can be (trying the screen and apologizing rather than solving the customer’s problem) and besides that „I‘m not allowed to tell you what’s inside.“. So no food for me - I can only guess that even the cook doesn’t know what’s inside.

Met family members for food and drinks on New Year Eve before heading down to the centre for more drinks and to watch the fireworks over the castle. Food and drink were very reasonably priced and good sized portions. Family members stayed overnight. Their room was very spacious and was really good priced for 2 nights on New Years Eve and New Years Day. We would have stayed here also but unfortunately we needed 3 rooms and they only had 1 left at the time we were booking. Would definitely recommend this pub for drinks, meals and rooms. Bus stop to take you down to the city centre was right outside and the bus journey was only a 10min ride and only £2 per person. Good value for money. Good location for Edinburgh Zoo and City Centre.
