The best restaurants in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Was recommended this cute little cafe by a friend who lives not too far from here. Went for the Coranation Chicken wrap and a Latte. The wrap was really delicious. Nicely grilled with cheese and a mix of sweet pepppers. It has a nice cosy atmosphere too, so it makes eating in comfortable. Will definitely be trying other items on the menu in the future

Kimchi jjigae was unique and Food was delicious. Lovely and friendly lady. Mom really enjoyed talking to her. Keep up the good work 👍👍

Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo piccolo locale in zona Haymarket. Ci siamo fermati per colazione e gustato due deliziosi cappuccini di soia e degli scones appena sfornati con burro e marmellata. Tutto buonissimo e le ragazze che ci hanno servito sono state estremamente gentili ed efficienti.Consigliatissimo!

I phoned to ask about gluten in the dishes and they didn't really know what gluten was. I appreciate that they tried to tell me ingredients of the dishes but I felt uncomfortable ordering from there without clearer information on which items were gluten free. I hope they improve their training and knowledge on this in future and I would be happy to order from there. The guy was very polite and made an effort which was good, but I unfortunately need to feel I can trust a place that they understand the allergens and can give me this information easily.

Picked up takeaway tonight, honestly considered driving the 20 minutes back again to buy more fish cakes - the best I've ever had. Mango Prawn salad was excellent. All the food is so fresh and juicy and zingy. Will definitely be using again.

I have been here on 2 seperate occasions and really liked the pasta. There is enough 'vegetarian ' options if you are prepared to accept parmesian (which I do...) I have had: - cacio e Pepe. Really good. - walnut pesto. Was OK - Arancini. Was OK - halloumi fries. Good. Really good value. Both times I came for dinner. Definately worth visiting for a pasta fix

It was excellent! There were 9 of us and we all had different dishes. We all ended up eating from each other's dishes because everything was delicious. If one day I come back to Edinburgh, I will definitely make a detour.

The Caley Bar is a nice upscale place to stop in for a cocktail or two while in Edinburgh. However, the service could have been better. When the server presented the check, my friend went to take it from her, and one of the drinks spilled over. No replacement or acknowledgment of any kind was offered. She just helped by bringing over napkins. At the price point paid for our drinks and the prestige of the hotel in which the bar resides within, I would expect a better response and certainly better placement of the check far away from the glasses on the table.

Lots of tasty treats on offer here. Delicious loaves too. Very friendly service.

Best spot in Edinburgh for lectures, art, wine, food and chat. A membership club but events can be booked through Eventbrite.

Very tasty food except the hot foods. those are toooo hot and tasted like chilli powder just boiled for the sake of it. not eatable by humans. Apart from this, All other food items like mango chicken, malai chicken etc were delicious. worth ordering for 60+ pounds.

No poppadoms with pickle tray !!! Why would i order a £3.99 pickle tray without wanting poppadoms - greedy people

Great little family run Baker hot rolls first thing and some cakes are magic
