Very nice place for Morning coffee or chat with friends. Decorations make this place nice and comfortable. Coffee and warm brownie - delicious. Only one minus, that is quite cold in back.
Tomé mi dinero para un pastel de fiesta. Pero se fue a la bancarrota así que no hay pastel y no hay dinero... muy decepcionante. Solo un correo electrónico renegando de la orden
Came here for breakfast before heading to the airport. The food was amazing! I had the ‘Tower Sandwich’ and my word was it delicious! I was served with food within about ten minutes of ordering. The cafe got quite busy, telling me this is a popular spot. Highly recommended!
One of the absolute best restaurants that Edinburgh has to offer. Quality of the food is great and the price to portion ratio is excellent as well. The Korean fried chicken (original sauce) and the matcha green tea shortcake are really some of the best things you can get.
Worst dining experience in Edinburgh. The pig's feet were too salty, and the waiter said, "I don't know, I didn't make them." Finally, she was asked to report back to the chef and owner. She turned around and said loudly that the whole hotel could hear, "They said the pig's feet are too idle." The waiter came back and said, "He said he added too much salt when making it." I asked "What then? What's the solution?". She replied, "That's what he said." Didn’t I say it was too salty?” She began to deny that the chef said more salt was added and said, “He only said it was good.” Then she said, “Maybe it’s salty, maybe there are other reasons? ". I asked "What's the reason? If it's salty, you can take it to the chef to taste it." She continued to deny that it was salty, and repeated that the chef only replied "ok". The call ended. Excuse me, the chef and owner, why didn't you deal with it after you admitted that it was salty? Ask the waiter, you said "maybe it is salty or there may be other reasons", what is the reason? Is it because the customer has a tongue problem? Such rude and unreasonable waiters and chef-owners are shocking!
Good address a little away from Picardy Place. The food is very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is rather calm. Large choice of dishes including many options for vegetarians
Bell's Diner opened in St. Stephen Street, Stockbridge, Edinburgh in 1974, the same year my wife and I moved into Stockbridge. They served the best burgers I've ever tasted. And no sweetish American-style buns and slobbery 'mayo'. The wine list starts at £21 a bottle. We now live 20 miles away but travelled in to have our final Bell's meal last week as the restaurant will soon be closing down. So, probably too late now for folks to get a table. Sad news indeed.
