Truly outstanding meal and service!

El lugar era precioso. Un pequeño no oscuro por dentro pero acogedor. El personal era encantador y atento, la dueña es Lisa, pero no estaba en ese día, sin embargo, su personal hizo muy bien y nos proporcionó una comida encantadora y un servicio fantástico. El chef está produciendo buena comida, debería estar en un restaurante de primera. Una joya oculta

Bittersweet is glorious. Absolutely exquisite cocktails, delicious small plates of Italian food and detailed and attentive service. The venue is beautiful and the staff were passionate and expressive in their shared mission to ensure we had a wonderful time and experienced a sensory explosion of flavour in everything we drank and ate. Visiting from London I was pleasantly shocked that the bill was so reasonable for such a feast in flavour. I honestly can’t think of a meal I’ve enjoyed more and am already looking forward to returning when back in Edinburgh for the festival. Leith has a new jewel in its culinary crown and it’s Bittersweet.

El ambiente, el servicio, la comida - todo se destacó de la multitud del café. Mi tostada de aguacate estaba deliciosa. El té también. Mis compañeros comensales tomaron el tazón dominicano y ambos dijeron que era refrescante, cálido, picante, picante, delicioso. La música complementó la experiencia, e incluso fue de gran valor también. Esta es una VISITA OBLIGADA si estás cerca de la Royal Mile.

The best place ever! We had an issue with data and the phone didn't work ( problem with different country numbers) and couldn't take the order, but the kitchen chef made it for free. 🫶 Food is Great! Love it.

No te pierdas este fantástico café. Sirve el más delicioso bento de lomo de cerdo y bento vegetariano. Las porciones son enormes y bellamente presentado. El lomo de cerdo frito rallado era perfecto, jugoso, tierno y sabroso. Los pequeños lados eran todos caseros - cuidado y atención era evidente en todos los platos y cafés. El lugar no tiene capacidad para muchos comensales, por lo que puede ser prudente reservar con antelación o ir durante las horas bajas pico. Muy, muy recomendable este café. El servicio, ambiente, comida y bebidas es de primera categoría.

THE BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had. Okonomiyaki on the menu which I’ve not seen on menus anywhere outside of Japan so far. They do huge pizzas too which look delicious. Fun and relaxed place to hang out. Good and drinks CHEAP drinks menu. Really interesting looking cocktails I’ve not seen before. I’m looking forwards to coming back. Every so often I like to treat myself to a little meal on my own. Nice to sit in the corner watching Naruto. I noticed families eating there as well as some other solo customers who sat at the bar, the staff were all cheerful and friendly without exception. Seems like a cool place to hang. The vibes were immaculate. They also cater to veggies. I’ve been searching high and low for a Japanese/chicken place. Really authentic food, lovely atmosphere, huge portions and unbelievably good prices. It’s well worth the minuscule 2 minute walk away from the main drag where the restaurants are all either over priced and/or quite shoddy. La comida en Sen Viet Vegan fue con mucho la mejor comida que hemos comido en cualquier restaurante, nunca. Casi lloro lágrimas felices por los hermosos sabores. Recomiendo encarecidamente el picante pho - fenomenal! Personal encantador y cálida bienvenida también : ) una joya absoluta de un lugar y no puedo esperar a volver cuando visite Edimburgo.

Me decidí a comprarme un helado de aquí una de las tantas veces que pasé por el lado y en que momento no paré antes.... Unos helados tremendos, desde el momento que probé uno ya cada día que estuve en Edimburgo fui a por uno. Para mi el Salted Caramel estaba delicioso.

Although a limited menu it is a great stop. Nice cheeses, meats and other things with a Spanish twist. A small variety of deli items to go, as well. Great, friendly staff, too!

Beautiful setting in the heart of wonderful Edinburgh. The welcome and attention from staff was exceptional and made our evening. Helena in particular was first class. We sampled mousaka, spanakopita and aubergine iman and all were exceptional. A truly wonderful Greek cuisine experience. Thank you to all concerned. We shall be back.

Fantastic authentic tasting food. Best onion bhaji we have ever had and the lamb in the Karahi curry was so tender! All round great meal & service! BYOB, another bonus & amazing value for money! Will be returning for sure and highly recommend!

This is undoubtedly the home of the best bacon rolls and fruit scones in Edinburgh. We moved office and still have our weekly roll run here as tried others near our new office and nothing compares. Lovely staff and food always fresh and of a good quality. Good variety at lunchtime too. Support local and try it out.
