This was so good. A huge portion that tasted as good as it looked. The staff were so friendly and helpful, happy to spend time chatting over the various cakes etc. Such a great experience

We ended up coming here two days in a row. We were attending a conference at the EICC across the street for two days and spied this cute patisserie and decided to check it out. The woman working there is so lovely and warm. She was so helpful when it came time to figure out what we wanted to try. I think she may have also been the genius behind all of the wonderful baked goods. We a shared and ate a box of assorted cookies on the walk home the first day and on day two we ended up getting a box each they were that good. If you're ever in Scotland and need a slice of Greek heaven, then I recommend heading here.

I finally found a bakery with cakes that remind me of the taste of home. I highly recommend visiting the patisserie, trying the products and supporting local businesses.

Popped in, having surveyed the vast array through the window a couple of times. A little humming and hawing and with some very helpfull info from the girl there about how certain things were made, we opted for a slice of orange loaf and Baklava. The baklava was delicious, but the orange loaf was jaw droppingly delicious. As soon as I put some in my mouth there was an explosion of flavour, and I had to stop myself from letting out a wee moan of delight. There was SO many other tiny little delicacies to try as well, I'll definitely be back when I'm not dieting to buy a selection. Highly recommended

Many thanks to Machi and Evi, the amazing owners at Edinburgh's finest patisserie; your warm welcome, amazing delights, and exceptional customer service is second to none. My husband and I have been to Greece several times (we're going back again soon); the things we love most about these trips are the amazing food and the wonderfully warm people; Slice of Greece has both spectacular food, and fabulous owners! Their hand-crafted desserts are absolutely divine, and I look forward to popping in again soon. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Greek lovers, we visited as a party of 6. Lovely welcome, beautiful decor, nice touches when the chef (Kostas) came over to say hello, wish me happy birthday and explain his philosophy for Kuzina. Nice touch, toasted bread with Cretan salt and olive oil. A big selection of wines, from reasonable up. Small menu, but that’s a good thing as it usually means everything is fresh - it is. Starters were good, grilled, charred artichokes with grated cheese and almond paste especially good. The spanakopita tartlet was on the small side, even for a starter. Excellent service, main giouvetsi was de-constructed, lovely large tasty lamb and gravy, but ordinary rice rather than orzo. Cod was beautifully cooked on a bed of spinach, but the very tasty meatballs could’ve done with rice or pasta, even garlic bread as the portion was small and pricey. A birthday candle in my dessert, nice touch. Lots to enjoy, just a few tweaks to the menu and portions would make this even better. Gia mmas and Exaristo poli!

CONGRATULATIONS FOR PROMOTING GREEK CUISINE as Cretan, as chef and as good food lover, I cannot but express my absolute taste satisfaction. Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. Congratulations (I'm sorry that I have roughly the same working hours and I can't come more often)
