Went for a mother's day meal. Firstly, the service is superb. A very attentive staff and owner making us feel very welcome. Could not do enough for us. The food is great too. The set selection for two was perfect, we even had enough left over to box it up and take it home. Will be back!

La Casa's tapas is delicious and the service friendly and welcoming. It's a gem of a place with a busy vibe but not feeling overcrowded. All about the food for me...so good, so fresh, perfectly presented and expertly served.

Great Mediterranean food, Tapas are expensive and small for the price, but also really tasty and well prepared. The best value is probably the main plates, where you get a large amount of food for a very fair price. Next time we'll try the Chef's Tapas selection, which seems to be reasonably priced and includes a good selection of the available Tapas.

Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than acknowledging guests. We stood at the entrance for an awkward amount of time before anyone even bothered to greet us or show us to a table. Once seated, the lack of attentiveness continued. We had to flag someone down just to place our order, and even then, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. No check-ins, no refills, and no effort to make us feel welcome. As for the food—bland doesn’t even begin to describe it. It lacked any real flavor or seasoning. The experience was made even worse by the beer, which had an off-putting, sour taste that suggested the beer lines hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Overall was a complete letdown. Poor service, tasteless food, and questionable drink quality make it a place I would not recommend to anyone. There are plenty of other restaurants that actually care about their customers—this is not one of them. Save your time and money and dine elsewhere.

I visited La Casa Dalry for the first time a few weeks ago. Firstly thank you so much to the staff, they were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Secondly the atmosphere was lovely really chilled. Finally but most importantly the food was delicious, portion sizes are on the large side but I’ve got no complaints about that. I don’t write reviews normally but made an exception. I couldn’t recommend visiting highly enough and personally I will be back soon.

Had a fab dinner here last night. All of the tapas was delicious, and great sangria. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend.

Food was fantastic. I've been here at least 4 times both in groups and as a couple. I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit. It always seems to be busy so I would advise booking ahead.

Service was really good. The food was good but the portions were really big, recommend 2 per person. It was also quite loud but not the restaurants fault but would be nice to lower the music when its loud

La Casa Dalry is truly a hidden gem! It was the only restaurant during our trip where we went back for seconds – that says a lot about the quality of both the food and experience. The decor is warm and inviting, with a stylish yet cozy ambiance that makes you want to stay longer. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience. Both times we visited, we started with the hummus, which was creamy and full of flavor, followed by the Serrano ham croquettes, crispy on the outside and deliciously soft inside. But the real star of the meal was the lentil soup. This dish was simply outstanding—hearty, rich, and packed with incredible flavor. We couldn’t get enough of it! La Casa is an absolute must-visit, and we can’t recommend it enough. 10/10 would dine here again!

Went for lunch early on a Sunday using a discount voucher. Place was dead, we were the only table. Service nice and attentive initially. We order food, some dishes were ok if too greasy (chorizo). The patatas bravas sauce is a watery mess that ruined perfectly good fried potatoes. The chicken wings were supremely bland. We also ordered some tzatziki and what ensued was one of the most bizarre experiences I have ever had in a restaurant… When we were 2/3 done with the tzatziki, my son noticed there was a hair popping out the untouched side of the plate. He proceeded to pull from it as kids do and we found a hair as long as my forearm had been there the whole time. Much to my son’s embarrassment, I asked him to place the hair back to where he found it, aka the tzatziki plate, and call the waiter to let him know. He asked if we would like another portion, and I said no thanks as we were getting ready for dessert and have to leave soon. Now, my tolerance to hair in food is probably higher to most people, but this was one big long hair that would put into question the hygiene practices of this restaurant. Upon finishing my dessert, I ask for the bill and to my surprise we had been charged full price for the “hairy tzatziki” in question, plus a not-so-discretionary service charge it seems. I get up to pay the bill and proceed to politely tell the two waiters that I am not impressed with the way this has been dealt with, and that it’s their choice to either remove the tzatziki or the service charge from the bill, but that I won’t be paying both. And this is where the fun starts…they proceed to tell me that the hair in question did not have any tzatziki on it and that they “don’t know where it came from”. I am now getting agitated and ask them if they are implying that we somehow “planted” a long hair in the cheapest dish that we ordered, which would have meant we deliberately brought it with us since none of us has long hair. Unbelievably they proceed to double down and continue arguing with me that they don’t have long hair either so it couldn’t be theirs (kitchen perhaps?), so after one of the most ridiculous back and forths of my life, and after I tell them I’m not paying for the optional service charge, they reluctantly remove the tzatziki in question from the bill. In retrospect I should have said at that point that I would not be paying for service anyway after the embarrassment and veiled accusations, but just covered the charge and left. To management, please send your employees to some basic hygiene and customer service training, if this is your standard of service and your staff feel they can insult customers on an empty restaurant, you may be in for a bit of a surprise or a visit from Gordon Ramsay soon…

Place is just amazing! People are always amazing

We had the tapas and the portions are really generous, well prepared and tasty.

Nice but not sensational. The food was fresh but some flavours were not the greatest, for example the grilled veggies had too much balsamic on top, or the pita bread was not as you would expect from a Mediterranean restaurant. However, the grilled octopus was very nice, and so the jamon croquettes. 3 tapas each is more than enough to go home happy Might be worth another visit to try something else

I'm afraid I found the food all very anaemic. Slightly undercooked gambas, pale patatas bravas and calamari, barely seared halloumi. If the food had been cooked on a higher temperature for an extra couple of minutes, it would have been so much nicer. It was very quiet so it's not like the kitchen was under pressure. I've been before, but alas unlikely to be back based on this underwhelming experience. On the plus side, staff were nice.

What an amazing place from the moment we walked in. Such a friendly environment no rush. Waitress asked how we are and went through the menu. Lamb chops so delicious melted in my mouth. Me and my wife had a wonderful night. Definitely recommended the place to be.

A nice little eatery. Menu was pretty short in the main course list. Most were tapas and mezzes. Food were pretty good, though i did not expect my quinoa salad was literally a bowl of quinoa, usually it is greens with quinoa on it 😅. Calamary was in the expensive side for the amount you get. The rest were pretty good. Service was quite fast and staff were friendly.

First of all apologies for writing this as a review I could not find a generic email address. Just to let the business and perhaps other people searching up this number know. there are spam/scam callers who are spoofing your business number (claiming to be something completely unrelated - typical mobile network upgrade scam) they rang me twice. Only after googling the number & seeing that it’s actually attached to a legitimate restaurant business did I realise that’s what they must be doing to make their call seem more credible. Be Safe & hopefully off the back of this information you can take whatever action necessary with your service provider to protect your number & business reputation .

Best meal of our trip to Scotland!

6pm on Tuesday. No more than 8 customers. My wife's birthday. Requested a table at far side window which seats 4 as when you order tapas you need plenty room. Was informed it was for 4 and offered a table for 2. I stated the place was empty but was refused. Ate elsewhere had a lovely meal spending over £80. Listening to the hospitality trade stating they have had a rough time of late yet turning away custom.

Very tasty tapas/meze - lots of little plates to choose from. Me and my mum just nipped in for one each for a light snack before a show and the staff were really friendly and quick to serve us when they knew we were in a bit of a hurry. We sat at the bar as all the tables were full of other happy diners.

Friendly, happy staff with quick service and attention, available staff. Tasty food, sizeable portions .. you definitely only need 3 per person 😊 and plenty of vegan options. Highly recommend visiting.

We had a lovely lunch, food was great and service was excellent, welcoming warm and friendly. We had a wide range of tapas dishes and all were delicious - quantities were also very generous! Staff were lovely, huge thanks to them, they really made our day. Highly recommend.

Visited for 60th celebration and had lovely time. We all had meze and there was so much food. We ordered for 10 people but maybe should have ordered for 8 as there was so much left. We were all stuffed. Service was prompt and friendly.

Went with friends for a birthday night out and went here for food first. Table was booked and glad we did as it was busy. Drinks all round and we each ordered 3 tapas each, decent size portions but i thought the choices were limited compared to other places ive been, still managed to choose something though and it was delish!! Birthday girl was treated to a free cocktail and desert from the staff which was very kind of them and we finished off with a cocktail each. Lovely setting, staff very good and helpfull, go book a table now!!!

We had a lovely experience at La CASA yesterday for an early lunch. The ambience was delightful and the staff were friendly and professional, knowledgeable and caring. The place was spotless. We ordered a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc which complimented the combination of small plates incredibly well. We shared Octopus which was served with small roast potatoes, Tiger prawns in garlic, an amazing delicious cheese covered in breadcrumbs and honey, meatballs, chorizo in a tangy tomato and roast pepper, onion and tomato sauce and finally chips with a garlic dip. We really didn’t need the last one as it took us all our time to finish everything, however we did very well and enjoyed absolutely every mouthful. I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return when I’m back in Edinburgh from Bridge of Allan.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while. Mixed grill was great, service could have been a little quicker but will definitely be back!

I came here with friends for a late lunch on Friday. The Calamari was deliciously cooked to perfection with a dip, followed by 2 different types of pizzas, homemade and wonderful. Clean plates all round. The staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is great for a chatty lunch with friends. They do wonderful cocktails too. I'd love to come back there again.

Good tzatziki falafel pita and croquettes…very much soured by later vomiting up entire pieces of the calamari. Unclear if this is what it is but the signs seem to indicate it. and I don’t want to harm a local business on an otherwise good meal but I don’t love spending $70 on food poisoning/ perhaps if you go don’t get the calamari

Greatest tapas experience EVER!!! We were assigned to this beautiful window seat where we could watch the sunset. The cod amazingly matched with the sour flavor. The spinach pie and feta cheese played a wonderful duet. Please, go and give it a try, which you would never regret.

We went 2 days, the first at 9:00 p.m. and the second at 8:30, when online the schedule says it closes at 10:00 p.m., both days they told us that the kitchen was already closed, I don't know what time They really close but it is clear that working is not their thing, I don't know what time they expect people to have dinner or at least change the internet hours.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in edinburgh, it is always brilliant every time! The staff are wonderful and always warm and welcome you in like a family member. The food is delicious and served very promptly, there is never a long wait. The drinks are lovely and they even have sangria. A perfect place for tapas!

I was in with family a few nights ago - The restaurant aesthetic and ambience is very warm and welcoming, and the waiting staff very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and arrived in a very timely manner too. It's a great addition to the neighbourhood and restaurant quarter on Dalry Road. The deserts were beautifully presented and I would definitely recommend the Crema Catalana. Highly recommended!

I was happy to part with my hard earned money to be able to experience the great food and service in this place. The Gambas prawns are to die for. Next time I'm ordering them for starters and then for the main course - absolute perfection, thank you 🤗

Great food and big portions for tapas, we ended up with 3 take out dishes as we ordered more than we could eat. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The food comes out really fast so the lady told us next time when ordering to tell them we wanted a selection to start and then some further dishes later that way it comes out a little slower. We didn’t realise and had 20+ dishes between 5 of us pretty much all at once but nonetheless it was absolutely delicious. 😋

We normally go to the sister restaurant in Leith. This one was not a patch on it for atmosphere or service. The food was nice when it did come tho. Orders mixed up staff to busy chatting and not paying attention to the customer's. We will go back to Leith but unfortunately this one didn't match up
