Beautiful setting in the heart of wonderful Edinburgh. The welcome and attention from staff was exceptional and made our evening. Helena in particular was first class. We sampled mousaka, spanakopita and aubergine iman and all were exceptional. A truly wonderful Greek cuisine experience. Thank you to all concerned. We shall be back.

Arriving into a very attractive interior albeit rather chilly in temperature. We were seated at the front window table which was very comfortable and our female guest sat next to the radiator there as we could feel the coolness of the space. A very mannerly chilled welcome from the waitress and presentation of the menu. We enjoyed the delicious starters, specially the artichokes which were presented beautifully although portions are very little. Our table enjoyed 2 Cod Avgolemono and 2 Lamb Giouvetsi. The Lamb came with no vegetables at all and we all felt we could have eaten double the portion, especially the cod which was in my opinion, a starter portion. Tasty and delicious but just too little on the plate. I wish there had been sides or something as I was still hungry for a main course. There was only one choice of dessert which was Pistachio Ekmek which we all went for as there was no alternative option. It was wonderful and vert tasty and the chef coming to explain what it was, a very nice experience. Our total bill for 4 with 3 drinking one bottle of wine was £276.50 plus tip. The restaurant needs a character operating at the front of house to bring some personality to the place, a curtain on the door to help keep heat in and more powerful radiators. It has potential if the food portion is increased or indeed mains were bulked up with some side options. We had a lovely dinner but did feel that there was a number of things missing - flair in the service particularly and more of a fine dining style in the service which is not there just now. Chef is clearly very skilful although needs to know we are not all on strict diets! I'd return but would want to see more on offer for the prices charged.

This place was fabulous. The food was delicious - I could have eaten it 3 times over. The service was wonderful; friendly, attentive waiters, and a lovely conversation with the owner. We enjoyed the walk through of the dishes and every morsel was savoured! Thank you so much for opening this lovely restaurant in Edinburgh!

Excellent Greek cuisine with dishes that add a modern and unusual twist to classic menu options. The wine is a little pricey, but again excellent quality and allowed us to try something different. The only slight negative was that I did find the restaurant a little chilly, even though it was a busy Friday evening. It was a particular cold November night and so hopefully this is not usual. Really great service throughout.

Greek lovers, we visited as a party of 6. Lovely welcome, beautiful decor, nice touches when the chef (Kostas) came over to say hello, wish me happy birthday and explain his philosophy for Kuzina. Nice touch, toasted bread with Cretan salt and olive oil. A big selection of wines, from reasonable up. Small menu, but that’s a good thing as it usually means everything is fresh - it is. Starters were good, grilled, charred artichokes with grated cheese and almond paste especially good. The spanakopita tartlet was on the small side, even for a starter. Excellent service, main giouvetsi was de-constructed, lovely large tasty lamb and gravy, but ordinary rice rather than orzo. Cod was beautifully cooked on a bed of spinach, but the very tasty meatballs could’ve done with rice or pasta, even garlic bread as the portion was small and pricey. A birthday candle in my dessert, nice touch. Lots to enjoy, just a few tweaks to the menu and portions would make this even better. Gia mmas and Exaristo poli!
