The best restaurants in Dunblane and Bridge of Allan Stirling Central Scotland

Visited on Friday lunch time. The set lunch is competitively priced, the food was very tasty and the staff courteous. There wasn't much atmosphere as there was only one other table occupied. Possibly a better atmosphere in the evening when the place is busier.

Plato de pescado de mercado sobreprecio. Servido con una patata bebé en rodajas ( realmente esperando al menos 4 - 5 patatas bebé para ser justo ) y algunos guisantes en una salsa. No muy lleno. We had our Company Xmas lunch at the Next Chapter for 21 people. It was great, lovely food and exceptional service. I would definitely recommend. Big thumbs up. Thank you Brian! ☺️

This experience was a disappointment, the host / manager wasn’t very pleasant. I have an allergy to nuts and one of the dishes had chestnut puree we had asked if this could be removed to the waitress she said “ yes I will go and check with the chefs “ . She didn’t come back to say anything at this point we didn’t know what we going to have for dinner . We then made the host / manager aware which explained what had happened the attitude was appalling, he had a snappy attitude towards my partner we had only wanted to check as my allergies are quite severe . I have been to the hotel restaurant on vists at the hydro many times but this was the worst experience , I have ever had . The food was really good just ashamed that the front of house couldn’t keep up to the same standards . The lack of communication was shocking .

Hoy vine a Wee Timorous Beastie Café con un amigo a tomar un café y un pastel. Qué fabuloso hallazgo en Bridge of Allan. Es un lugar encantador lleno de todas las edades, todos se sienten muy bienvenidos. Una mención especial a Jennifer, contacto visual extremadamente acogedor en el minuto en que caminas en una gran sonrisa y hola. Ella era fantástico con todos los clientes extremadamente educado, nada era demasiado problema. Si usted está en Bridge of Allan pasar por un café encantador, pastel y una bienvenida muy cálida.

Charming place for a good breakfast or lunch.

Good food and service but go early on a Sunday for the roast as they had unfortunately run out by dinner time.

Such a great meal last night after a long cold day of exploring outdoors. The warm fire by our table was so welcoming and the food was delicious. Our group had the BOFA shark, muscles starter (small was quite enough for sharing even!), chicken with cauliflower, gnocchi, and beef shin. Everything was so delicious! We would highly recommend!

The restaurant is one we have visited reasonably often as it is local, friendly and has a lovely view. The menu has enough choice and is tasty enough. However on our last visit we were given an arrival time of 7.45 pm but when we sat down we were almost immediately asked for our orders with no time to read the menu or the wine list. We really didn't linger over studying the menu but she obviously wanted to get the order into the kitchen as fast as she could - 3 times she pressed us and it did feel very hurried. Study the wine list? No time .... opt for the house white because there wasn't time to look for anything else. I do understand that kitchens need to finish up but then perhaps make the last booking a little earlier to accommodate this?

This is a wonderful hotel, in a perfect location overlooking the Cathedral and minutes from River walks into the charming town/village. Service, especially from Moira, is very professional and efficient with a nice measure of friendliness thrown in too. Dinner menu is extensive with plenty of choices for all tastes , and food quality is of highest standard. Highly recommended!

Visited cafe 33 today for my lunch i couldnt fault the service and quality of food. the staff were very freindly and made me very welcome i would highly recommend the food and coffee here to any one i will definitely be back

Bland food, poor service and never ending wait for decidedly average food - particularly given we had preordered. They also got the order wrong. Will sadly not be back.

Despite Google showing as open, very firmly closed on 23rd March at 1327.. No sign saying closed, many cars driving into car park.
