Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe in Stirling

Hoy vine a Wee Timorous Beastie Café con un amigo a tomar un café y un pastel. Qué fabuloso hallazgo en Bridge of Allan. Es un lugar encantador lleno de todas las edades, todos se sienten muy bienvenidos. Una mención especial a Jennifer, contacto visual extremadamente acogedor en el minuto en que caminas en una gran sonrisa y hola. Ella era fantástico con todos los clientes extremadamente educado, nada era demasiado problema. Si usted está en Bridge of Allan pasar por un café encantador, pastel y una bienvenida muy cálida.

Increíble pequeño café. El personal es muy amable. Mi amigo fue servido menú de desayuno a pesar de que pedimos después de la 1 pm - no fue ninguna molestia. Tuve haggis toastie - simplemente excelente y muy recomendable! Las porciones son generosas y los precios son muy razonables! Sin duda una visita obligada Café!

Aquí para desayunar. Grandes huevos revueltos, tocino y hermosa tostada gruesa. servicio rápido, tés Tetley, personal sonriente, precios muy razonables.

El servicio al cliente fue terrible! La chica de pelo oscuro especialmente. Llegamos a las 3. 30 pm un sábado tan pronto como entramos nos DIJERON ‘CERRAMOS a las 4 pm’, sin embargo, ¿el sitio web dice 5 pm? Preguntamos si podíamos tomar un café y nos miraron como si fuéramos perros! Nos ofrecimos a tomar el café en tazas para llevar para aliviar la carga, ya que nos sentimos tan desagradables. ¡Mi pequeño recibió un chocolate caliente y la temperatura de él habría levantado la piel de su boca! Le pregunté si podíamos cambiar esto. La chica de cabello oscuro se veía consternada ante esta petición y luego procedió a la mesa y dijo ‘ojalá esto te quede mejor’ prácticamente nos lo lanzó! Un tipo llegó a las 3. 45 pm para que nos DIGAN ‘ESTAMOS CERRADOS’ otras dos mujeres que ya habían estado antes que nosotras subieron y pidieron un par de capuchinos más les DIJERON que CERRÁBAMOS a las 4 pm y la mujer respondió que sí pero solo son las 3. 45 pm y feliz de llevarlos en tazas para llevar! ¡Obviamente, este café tampoco necesita la costumbre de que los propietarios tengan conocimiento del personal que emplean! 1 hora de calle allí y NUNCA volveremos - comportamiento repugnante del personal!

Qué gran café. Ambos tuvimos el 'Desayuno dietético' (Primera vez que he pedido 'dieta') Estaba delicioso. Clientes muy amables también. Si estás cerca del Puente de Allan asegúrate de mirar este café. Gran felicitación al personal, Jen y Jane que hicieron nuestra visita más agradable. Si alguna vez estamos en la zona de nuevo sin duda volveremos.

Animal timorense en la plataforma 8 de la estación Stirling. Pedí café con caramelo helado. No me dijeron si había diferentes tamaños, así que asumiendo un tamaño. Chat estándar mientras esperas. El café era lo suficientemente agradable, pero muy muy caro para lo que era y el tamaño. Ver foto. £ 4. 40

Lucy hace un capuchino perfecto. El ambiente es relajante y sirve un delicioso desayuno. También está abierto temprano / 9 am un domingo.

Staff were unwelcoming. Felt as though of a lot of staff were children/young teens, this was evident as they seemed to be unsure of what they were doing. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and felt as though I was being rushed out. However, food was lovely but pricy.

Had takeaway cakes and coffee. Both tasted nice, so thumb up from me 👍👍 Great selection of cakes on offer. Really busy inside because I know it’s a local fav place for coffee. Staff are really fast on their feet to get everyone’s takeaway orders- really impressive. Nice chill decor inside, very tasteful and there’s an option to sit sheltered outside and look onto the mainstreet - whilst staying dry. Highly recommend (if you can get a seat/ or if the queue isn’t too big)

Delicious good-sized coronation chicken baked potato with lovely salad; delicious pot of tea. Reasonably priced, served by a lovely wee lady. Would definitely recommend.

A delicious full breakfast made by the chef - David, Mandy makes the impressive cappuccinos and yummy milkshakes. A cosy atmosphere and clean.

Dropped in here on a quick visit to Bridge of Allan . Tables poky , not much room. Ordered coffee and a scone , scone definitely not fresh , as it crumbled up as soon as I cut it to put jam on it , was just left with a plate of crumbs . Not impressed , am sure there must have been better places , but we don't know the place.

Such friendly staff and one of my favourite cafés in my area. Food is good wee bitty pricey but where isn't these days!

Used to like this cafe but on recent visit found staff seemed rather off. Acknowledged us when we went in but no offer of table ( there were empty tables) or whatever, we stood for a while wondering what to do. Got table eventually but it needed a clean. Asked younger staff member to wipe over, this was done with a grudge and she gave it quick insufficient wipe. Cleaned myself with tissue. Food was fine but their vegan sausages are awful. Tough skin just yuk. Don't think will rush back.

Fantastic little cafe, very warm welcome and staff very polite. We had homemade soup and chicken /chips which were all delicious, a couple of drinks and could not resist 3 traybakes to takeaway!! Will definitely visit again.

we do like this cafe even if the prices are high for what you receive , some of the younger staff do have trouble calculating the items and I personally think that they guess the total which works in their favour rather than the customer, I would visit again, but would do the arithmetic myself.

Popped in here with my brother after he had returned from working away from home. Enjoyed a fine brunch at lunchtime. Homemade soup plus a tuna mayo sandwich with a nice cup of Earl Grey soup proved a treat.

A very friendly, comfortable small café with a great breakfast menu to cater for most tastes and very reasonable prices.

What a lovely Afternoon Tea we had at this little gem of a cafe in Bridge of Allan. Our tea was ready when we arrived, Mandy came and asked what we would like to drink and promptly brought it to us. All the team checked on us to see if we were ok and needed anything else but also allowed us to enjoy the time together as it was a Mum and Daughter tea to quietly enjoy each other’s company. It is so nice to support local businesses and the tea that we had was such value for money, tasty and just simply lovely, as all traditional afternoon teas should be. I would thoroughly recommend Wee Timorous Beastie and highly suggest if you want to make sure of getting a table perhaps book ahead. Thank you again.

Not sure if the menu has changed since the previous reviews but it was very basic and uninspired which was a real shame. I’d have expected a wider range. The decor inside was lovely.

Cappuccinos are lattes and too hot, when asking for another Cappuccino I received another boiling hot latte! The food is 10/10.

Have been three times now, first for coffee - delicious. Then twice for lunch, salads so fresh and tasty, good portions. Victoria Sponge divine! Service so friendly and attentive in this very busy café.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to our holiday accommodation and wasn't disappointed. We had a lovely breakfast with the most perfectly poached eggs ! Definately recommend this cafe and will return next time we pass through.

Visited for brunch, whilst in the area. Greeted , and seated , by friendly staff. We both chose soup and sandwich and hot beverages. Everything was very nice and very reasonably priced . Highly recommended.

Best cappuccinos, perfect temperature. Delicious food. Fabulous atmosphere, with Mandy's own 80s music.

In here often with friends and or a takeaway Sandwich and always excellent, favourite wee place and Mandy and the team are ace and do make a fabulous coffee too

My husband and l visited today. We had delicious home made soup, lovely fresh sandwiches, yummy cakes and the best coffee we’ve had in ages. The staff are super nice too! 😀

Excellent welcoming homely cafe. Cauliflower and Brocoli soup perfection. Strawberry milkshakes wow. All on one level.

Friendly, helpful staff, excellent cake (I had lemon), and the best scone I've had in ages. We'll definitely be back.
