Excelente almuerzo de aniversario. Todos los platos eran deliciosos, amable y atento personal y buena relación calidad-precio de la comida. Burrata, gambas de chile para empezar, seguido de pescado de mercado (merluza - delicioso) y salsa de salmón y langosta pasta. Helado de afgota y menta y bollo choux de chocolate para terminar.

Fuimos en grupos de ocho para celebrar los 70 años junto con mi primo que vive en la zona. El menú no es enorme, pero ofrecía cómodamente opciones deseables para todos. Empecé con un huevo escocés de pudín negro que estaba delicioso y seguido de la rabadilla de cordero. Como cocinero entusiasta, es raro que coma una comida de restaurante que estaría orgulloso de servir. Este fue uno de esos pocos. El resto de la familia quedó igualmente impresionada. Mi esposa y yo hubiéramos regresado el martes para cenar, pero están cerrados lunes y martes.

Magnífico almuerzo dominical en un hermoso entorno, fabuloso servicio cálido en un domingo lluvioso. Lo más destacado de nuestras vacaciones, gran relación calidad-precio, desearíamos vivir más cerca ya que nos encantaría visitar más a menudo.

Plato de pescado de mercado sobreprecio. Servido con una patata bebé en rodajas ( realmente esperando al menos 4 - 5 patatas bebé para ser justo ) y algunos guisantes en una salsa. No muy lleno. We dropped in for lunch, so glad we did. We had snacks to start, the padron Peppers were delicious. Everything we had was excellent, well seasoned too. Enjoyed lovely wine and coffee . The interior is beautiful and very clean. Staff were friendly, excellent service. We would definitely return.

Visited with our pizza loving grandson and he was impressed. Modern feel to the restaurant and cleaned to a high standard with good loos. menu was so varied we will have to make a few visits to try everything which caught our eye. Highlight was excellent service from Beth a very pleasant young lady who was friendly and helpful.

We had a late Sunday lunch 6 adults and two babies. The welcome was lovely and we were provided two high chairs. We all had starters the burrata was fantastic and huge portion. Risotto was yummy and duck salad starter also very nice. We all had food envy but everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We all mainly had the Sunday roast lamb or beef and one fish and chips. The portions again were huge. Unfortunately we had no room left for dessert and our babies were also getting restless. So lovely to have Nairns on our doorstep.

Fabulous evening at Nick’s with Atul Kochhar. He brought us the tastes, flavours and spices of various regions of India for us all to sample from starters through to mains. The courses took Indian dining to another level. It was great to have a chance to meet Atul in person and also chat to Nick and Julia. Very welcoming and attentive staff throughout the evening. The whole experience one to remember.

A memorable meal with friends to celebrate a 75th birthday. The quality of all our dishes was superb with wonderful textures and flavours and perfect portion sizes. My wife’s sea trout was melt in the mouth and my 300gm flank steak was exactly as a steak should be. My starter was the marinated turkey breast labelled discreetly on the menu as “Nick’s recommendation”. Wonderful. Look out for any similarly labelled items. The ambience was relaxed and comfortable and as others have reported front of house service excellent. Our particular thanks however must go to all the kitchen staff for their care and attention in selecting and preparing such great food. A pity that the cost of eating out has risen so much that meals out are now reserved for special occasions. We would all have liked to have tried other items on the menu. We will look forward to returning.

over rated and very very expensive - no atmosphere and portions tiny - creme caramel was in the tiniest ramekin known to man - was soo looking forward to this and it ended up being £160 for 3 and that did not include bottles of wine and one of our party was not drinking - no cheese either on the menu??!!!!

10 of us ,nice atmosphere ,lovely staff . Food was a hit or a miss. Some of the party enjoyed what they ordered others very dissapointed. Halibut should be served very simple instead of been overpowered with other flavours. Garden salad with the very rare & tough flank steak was lettuce with chopped capers! Tasty lunch in a nice setting with efficient service. The food was excellent, we had the roast beef and the kids ate off the kids menu. We then had puddings which were also very good. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I have eaten in many restaurants both home and abroad. We’ve had good and poor meals in run-of-the-mill restaurants and high-end Michelin starred establishments. However, the meal we had last evening at Nairns rates as one of the best, if not the best, we have had since we married 26 years ago. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent night at Nairns. We had previously eaten at Nicks in Port of Monteith and were very disappointed - the menu was uninspired and the food jusylt wasn't up to scratch. The experience at Nairns was completely different. The menu is good, a few things that i wanted to order and the food was excellent. I had the duck salad to start. The dark was tender, veg was fresh and rhe dressing was delicious. Followed this with the skate which again was really tasty. Personally I'm not a fan of fried fish, would have preferred other methods of cooking, but it was still good - fresh and tasty. My only complaint for both mains was the lack of veg, I think a bit of fresh veg finishes off a meal. For dessert we had ice cream, which again was excellent. Service was 1st class, everyone was super friendly and helpful. After Nicks we weren't expecting a lot, but our expectations were surpassed 100 fold, thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Just very good food and lovely service. Would highly recommend. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, service is lovely - atmosphere is very nice. The smoked salmon s the best I have tasted and the pistachio choice bun with chocolate sauce really is to die for. 10/10

A good Hogmanay evening with good food, good waiting staff and a nice atmosphere somewhat spoiled by some shady bar practices. Ordering double whiskies to bring in the New Year we were somewhat sceptical about the measure. After asking the bar staff to confirm and still not satisfied we asked them to bring us a bar measure which they did and which showed we had been significantly short changed. When we pointed this out to one of the more senior staff she apologised and sorted it out without hesitation. Then on examining our bill we discovered we had been charged for doubles not singles on an earlier round. Again this was sorted without question. But what was going on? After paying £125 per head for the evening our vigilance paid off but shame we left with a slightly bad taste.

I went for dinner and drinks with a friend and it was incredible - we ordered a variety of the starters and mains to share and the quality of every dish was great! Super friendly and attentive staff, amazing cocktails and a really nice atmosphere....
