A bit out of the way, but all worth it if you get a table with a view. Best fish n’ chips tried so far, and the pizzas were tasty. The haggish in particular was amazing. Worth travelling for, for evening meals or part of a day trip in the area.

What a lovely stop for an early dinner after being on road most the day. Beautiful views beautiful building beautiful atmosphere beautiful food.

The girl that served us was friendly throughout the service. Areas where I felt it could have been better was the food - it is overpriced for what you receive. Over £17 for a burger and it doesn't have a salad or garnish of any kind. Just a burger and a small amount of chips - I thought that was a bit mean. The dish could have been so much better with a small garnish at very little cost. Instead the plate looked bare. A very limited menu as well. The chair I was sitting on had a rather sizable stain on it. We felt as though the service was slow throughout our visit. We were there for a birthday lunch and with the exception of the girl who was serving we felt largely ignored.

Great service even on a busy Sunday. Communicated any delays. Food / menu nice, varied and flavoursome. Some could say expensive, but I'd say good value for the package. Thank you.

Awesome restaurant and pub! The food is fabulous! Tonight we had fish and chips. Luke waited on us - super friendly and even suggested several places for us to visit - we are from the US and spending a week in the area. This was our third visit to eat in two days! The bartender was amazing as well - makes a great Cosmopolitan. In fact, all the staff was wonderful.

Beautiful. We stopped in here after a big cycle to have the Sunday roast. Both food and drinks were served mega quick (like really, really quick) and was absolutely delicious. The beef was absolutely fall apart and the red wine gravy was gorgeous. It also came with a bacony-cabbage pot thing which was tremendous. Had a side of onion rings which was a tactical error given the roast dinner was so filling. The onion rings were nice and the portion massive. My girlfriend had the sticky toffee pudding (I was too full by this point). It was excellent and I was left regretting not getting my own. Great sauce and the pudding itself packed a flavour punch. The ice cream was really creamy and you could tell is was good quality. It was a little on the expensive side - think it came to about £90 with a couple of rounds of drinks. That said, the quality, atmosphere and service merited it so I was happy to pay it as well as tip. The decor inside manages to be both cosy and modern. They also have a large outside area which looks like it would be fantastic for food and drinks on a sunny day.

The Sunday Roast was delicious, the slow- cooked beef melted in my mouth, it was so tender! I even congratulated personally the chef as I was so pleased.

Cannot fault the attentive staff however the food was disappointing. The haggis stuffed padron peppers sounded interesting so we ordered them. Two haggis balls and one pepper appeared which was confusing as there was no haggis stuffed peppers. The pizza was extremely disappointing for the price. I can remember the med used to do good pizzas but my pizza didn’t seem cooked enough and really heavy on dough. The cocktails were decent and staff great. As our local I would like to come away from the med raving about the food but it’s just not good enough.

This is a fantastic place in Bridge of Allan. You can walk here from Witches Craig campsite, takes about 30 mins! The food is fab, the bar snacks are pretty good too. All the staff were lovely & we could take the dog in with us. We will definitely be back here. 😁 Holly was particularly fab!

Fantastic food, service, atmosphere and more. The best experience we’ve had in Scotland (and in fact, best for the whole of the UK). We are Australian and travelling Scotland for 10 days. We also stayed in the accommodation and if I could give more than five stars I would. The decor was superb and and the little ‘extras’ including complimentary drinks and snacks, GHD hairdryer and straightener etc really took this accomodation to the next level! Next time, I wouldn’t bother moving around different accomodation, rather base myself here and day tour. All staff that we dealt with were incredibly friendly, polite and welcoming. The absolute highlight of our trip.

Was in with a group of friends, for food and drinks. Waited well over 20mins to get severed, although this is gender dependent. Im not female!! Food wasn't much better to be fair, I had the batter burger, no sorry the chicken burger, unfortunately wasn't great, overpriced and poorly presented.

Waited 15 mins to get served at the bar. Yet young female got served straight away?? Ordered Chicken Skewar kebab, chicken was tasteless would have expected some peppers in-between the kebab, served with 2 small tortillas and the worst presented salad I've ever seen. Wasn't cheap but money aside it was the poorest meal I've had in a long time!! I always like a desert, but the desert menu was very poor. Not been since I was served apple pie on a slate with a jug of custard, and won't be back...

Every single team member was friendly, helpful and welcoming as well as knowledgeable, nothing was any bother. Food was great. The chef even came out to reassure me about their Coeliac menu. Wonderful.

Had a lovely late lunch today. We picked from the small plates and had fish Tacos chicken lettuce wraps halloumi fries (out standing) and macaroni cheese. All excellent and definitely not small! Service excellent a special thanks to Cameron and Madison. Will definitely be back excellent food at great prices 👌

Visited Meadowpark on 26th July for dinner. My husband had fish and chips and he said it was the best he had eaten. I had linguine with king prawns which had a wee kick of chilli, absolutely delicious. My meal was the chef’s specialty of the day. We both shared dessert, passion fruit pornstar cheese cake with a shot of prosecco on the side, this was heaven on a plate. Luke and Sean looked after us, the service was exceptional.

We brought a group of 18 students for dinner tonight and it was delicious! Everyone loved their food. The chicken lettuce wraps were AMAZING! Lovely service, super cool ambience. Highly recommend- will be back again!

We stayed upstairs so it was an easy fix for dinner. The staff were friendly and it seemed to be the go to place for afternoon drinks over looking the river flats. If you are staying it absolutely gorgeous. If you are not staying there would be other places to dine.

We were travelling from Windermere to Loch Ness and found this place via Google search. It was little off our way, but not too bad. And it was totally worth it. It seemed quite quiet, but we were there during the weekday and before 4pm so we reckoned it was cause of that. Food was excellent and service too. It was nice to taste local craft beer's. Parking was easy, because they had their own parking.

Really cute restaurant right by University of Stirling. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I just ordered a Cesar salad with chicken which isn't exactly local cuisin. So although the salad was well portioned, and tasty, the salad dressing did seem store bought. But I didn't ask to confirm.

The meal here started great. I can honestly say I do not know what went wrong. We had very slow service and my daughter had asked for a glass for of water multiple times. She finally went to the bar to request a glass of water. Immediately afterwards a server came over and asked us to pay the bill - prior to us being served. He claimed that everyone was asked to do to so, but as we watched, that was not true. We were clearly targeted. Whether this was because we were Americas, I cannot say. However, it was very disturbing and I have never been treated that way.

It's a really cute pub/restaurant with tastefully finished areas of all types of styles. The staff were attentive and lovely. I couldn't fault them. However the food....ehm....not good at all. I had the chicken burger and chips which would not normally be of my choice. But sadly , the menu needs overhauled. I didn't enjoy it at all. Plus the dessert menu consists of 4 very run of the mill choices. I would return for a drink yes but no way to eat. You could do so much better Meadowpark.

Had a really nice spontaneous lunch today. We arrived very wet from the Scottish summer weather and a dog walk and were welcomed by friendly and professional staff. We shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which always goes down well and I had the Sunday Roast and my pal had the Chicken burger. The beef was absolutely melt in the mouth and the presentation and flavours were really lovely. The burger was great and all plates were cleared. Staff were super and what was really appreciated was the chef came out to ask how everything was. Will definitely return.

Had the smash burger which was not that good had a sauce on which was quite unpleasant. Staff were nice though. Veggie burger was not the best either. Have been here before but food not good enough for 17 pounds for burger and chips. Sorry but true.

Nice place, service good, food reasonable, say that as I had steak and fritos, eh and that was it, the dish consisted of just steak and chips, so thought it was a tad pricey at £25 ! Likewise came a bit overcooked than my requested med rare.

Cocktails were phenomenal, and the service was top-notch! Would recommend 100%! Steak was a wee bit too salty for my taste, but everything else was spectacular!

First restaurant we went to upon arrival in Scotland, very good atmosphere, a very pleasant smell at the entrance and the care taken in the environment created for customers. A bar filled with good Gins and Whiskey then we went to the dining room where we found a very welcoming atmosphere with a very cozy terrace. As for lunch, 2 dishes we chose, salmon and a barbecue, but first an onion and potato soup, were great. The barbecue was very good and juicy, the salmon fillet was also very good with good accompaniments. Price was within normal limits for the country we were in.

The food here is sensationally good. We ate the Keban, Bund, Caesar salad and wraps and everything was incredibly tasty.

Go for beers, glasses of wine and cocktails here often. Nice spot both inside and outside. Can take your dog outside too which is handy for dog owners and lots of space there for them too (not crushed). They have a handy discount on cocktails during weekdays excl Fridays. So you pay a really good price for quality cocktails, this is one of the main reasons why I come back often. So it’s nice to take a little walk after work and enjoy a nice relaxing drink. It’s very cosy and well lit up inside too. Nice place

Stopped in for dinner with the family. Food was spot on and the bar staff were brilliant. Place is great for a family meal and also has a great bear garden

We had a booking for my Daughter's 21st birthday on Saturday evening last weekend and the attitude, preparation and service were all extremely disappointing. The table wasn't ready when the group arrived, with other people sitting having drinks at the table. There was no offer to clean or set the table in preparation for the booking and absolutely no recognition that this was a booking made for a special occasion. My daughter and her friends were made to feel anything but special and ended up setting the table themselves, requesting clean glasses and cutlery from the staff, who didn't offer to help at all. I am absolutely horrified by this inattention to the customers on what should have been a lovely event. The food was eventually enjoyed by the group, but a huge amount of damage had been done by then, substantially reducing the enjoyment of the evening. I would not recommend this venue for a booking for a special occasion.

The food was good, staff helpful and pleasant. We were in the conservatory which had a nice ambience. I would heartily recommend.

Had a relaxing Sunday lunch with the children and dog after a wet 5km hike nearby. Friendly staff, tasty food and comfortable seating. Tasteful.

This is a beautiful hotel with an awesome bar / restaurant downstairs. The room has so many stunning unique little touches and decor and the guests are very generously treated to 2 drinks in the bar, 2 beers in the room fridge, top of the range coffee machine, fresh milk and a very tasty couple of biscuits. Everything has been thought of in the room and you have all you need for a stay - including stunning views. The bar / restaurant is very family friendly, the food is amazing - bar snacks of onion rings and burger fries were like nothing I’ve seen or tasted before - and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly, efficient and professional too, creating a cozy vibrant atmosphere. We paid for breakfast in the morning - best full Scottish breakfast ever and the haggis especially was stunning. Only £10 too. Oh - and spotlessly clean everywhere! The room, the bar the toilets - all spotless ! An absolute gem - we will definitely be back !!

Nice range of well prepared food with more than generous portions. Good beer courtesy of Cold Town brewing company & decent wine available, with efficient friendly table service to boot. Nice atmosphere, clean and well appointed toilets helped to make my visit more than worth while. Great place to watch sport and lovely outdoor seating area with heaters if required. Would thoroughly recommend 👍

We were a party of four. Two had the roast beef. However, it was certainly not roast beef. It was more like braised beef. It was a large portion, most of which I took home for my dog. The accompanying vegetables were good, as were the meals ordered by the other two members of the group.

The hotel rooms are all beautifully decorated and very stylish. We hired 3 bedrooms for a family reunion when I was visiting from Australia (Castle room, Wallace room and Airth room). Everybody had a great time. We liked the complimentary gin and whisky and the breakfast hampers. Beautiful view of Stirling Castle. Staff were all extremely helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. Great place to stay in Bridge of Allan, and there is a scenic lake quite near the hotel where we can walk around and enjoy the grounds of Stirling University.

Food is good but service is Soo slow every time my family and I have been in, even when it's only been our party there.

Meadowpark Stirling exceeded our expectations. The Monkfish starter showcased freshness and skill, leading into a succulent braised beef. The quality of produce was evident, complemented by impeccable service. Head Chef Jesse and his team created a welcoming atmosphere, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. We look forward to returning for more culinary delights.

Busy place. But service was quick and efficient. And very friendly. Dog friendly, which was one of the reasons we chose to eat here. Roast beef dinner was amazing. Beef was just melt in your mouth. And all the veg and Yorkies just as good!

Had lovely welcome from the barmaid unfortunately went downhill from there, food came out really quickly but was terrible, garlic bread burnt, Mac and cheese glaggy, burger ok but mainly singed bun, but worst was the skinny fries which were clearly old fries that had been reheated and tasted stale, on mentioning to the manager that she might want to check the chips the response was "well we all love the chips and ive just had some and they are fine" she then proceeded to talk about us to another member of staff saying we had complained about the chips. On paying she took the food off but still didn't appear to care about the food that had been served to us and the fact one of us had left practically all of it Shame as its a lovely place inside but appears to be style over substance if the manager can't even be bothered to care what the food is like coming out of the kitchen, if the chef is happy to send food out like that then we won't be returning anytime soon.

Another superb visit to the Meadowpark for our Xmas night out with friends, delicious food and cocktails served in a superb atmosphere by professional staff, you can’t ask for more. We all had a fantastic night here. Best, JD

Food was ok 1st time I have had crispy onion on a prawn cocktail ruined the taste as it was overpowering also burnt veg for main parsnips looked like charcoal sprouts were like bullets also burnt shouldn't have been put on plates as it looked awful roast tatties had a strange taste not sure what it was .

What an absolute paradise. The service, accommodation and location 😘. I work all over Europe, without doubt the best/cleanest and friendliest place I've ever been. Amazing! Without doubt revisiting this place is on the cards. Well Done 👍 💯% a must visit.

The Meadowpark was a beautiful home away from home while we visited our son at the University of Stirling. The accommodations were perfect and the drinks and food even better! (I highly recommend the Whiskey Sour!🥃)

Fantastic place, rooms are sparkling clean and with wonderful decor, as well as well equipped with anything you may need for a stay. Service was superb from the minute we arrived, dog friendly as well. Food was excellent from Bloody Mary Prawn cocktail to perfectly cooked steaks! Perfect location, plenty of parking spaces. Great place with a log fire, friendly staff and comfortable seating.

We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon, this was the most expensive we paid for any stay on our trip, very disappointed to find that when it rained the roof was leaking and the carpet wet. We were not offered a different room, a towel was put on the wet carpet. We didn’t like to cause a fuss but not what you expect for the price we paid, wouldn’t return!

Meadowpark was by far the best hotel we stayed in on our 8 day trip to Scotland and Ireland. We were greeted with a warm welcome at check in and shown to our rooms. Our room was spectacular! Clean cozy and decorated beautifully. There are only a few rooms and each were uniquely decorated. Downstairs was the restaurant and our food was superb! We started with lettuce wraps and ordered the chicken kabobs, fried rice and Caesar salad. The presentation was unforgettable. Our service could not have been more welcoming. Offered a complimentary Prosecco at the bar as well since we were guests of the hotel. We had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and fell in love. It was to die for! Upon leaving dinner we were given our breakfast basket for the morning. It had fresh croissants, cheese, meat, orange juice, yogurt and berries and marmalade. I can’t say enough compliments about this place. I didn’t want to leave I felt so comfortable and pampered. 10 stars!!

Being part of a group of 12 we ate here on Sat 19th Aug. The food was lovely and although it was quite busy, the service was excellent. Couldn't fault.

Over £10 for glass of rosé is a bit steep. Food not the best either but staff are very nice and there’s a pleasant sunny terrace.

Maybe they were a bit frazzled by an earlier big event but staff weren't that on the ball.

A very nice place, warm and very friendly. The service was very nice and helpful, the lady suggested beer tasting before the final choice, I would give a large sample of about 0.2!!! The food was good, the best was the pizza, very aromatic and smoky. The burgers could be warmer, the bun was cold, the meat could also be warmer. We were not asked about the doneness of the meat. An excellent beer from the Edinburgh brewery Cold Town Brewery. To sum up, a very pleasant place and worth going back there. I recommend!

Scottish pub, atmosphere, decor and it speaks loudly after a few pints 😁😎 I had a Sunday roast, Scottish meat, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables... to die for, delicious. And to finish a plate of cheeses, also very good, oat pancakes instead of bread 😉 Great choice of drinks. A stone's throw from the university for those who are there, treat yourself 😉

Such a relaxed atmosphere. You can turn up here in a tracksuit or turn up super dressed up and you would fit in both ways. The menu is limited I would say, but what's on there is very reasonably priced and tasty!

Absolutely stunning hotel! Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean! The Breakfast Hamper is a lovely touch with local produce. I can't praise the hotel enough and hope to be back soon.

What a lovely place, great inside and outside. We had a starter also great. I cannot recommend the service, staff are friendly (apart from the welcome). We were abruptly told it's table service (outside) 20 minutes later after many other customers simply went to order at the bar I gave up and ordered at the bar myself. Then the first long wait. Service improved until the final drink. Over 10 minutes and it was now quiet. Overall lovely place, but slow service. I updated my rating as although slow service, place is great and friendly staff so I will try again one day.

So glad we found this place. Unfortunately we arrived late and left early, so did not get to sample the dining experience or the food, but everything else was terrific. The greeting at reception and later at the bar were both friendly and welcoming. It is evident so much attention to detail had been put into everything, the dining room, bar area, the outside seating. We arrived at dusk and the place was lit up really tastefully, creating a magical atmosphere. As with many places we stayed at, there was no lift/elevator, so if you're arriving with lots of luggage keep that in mind, however they didn't hesitate to help us carry things upstairs so no concerns. We will definitely be staying here longer on our next trip.

Cozy place, good food and average prices for Scotland. The very kind waitresses allowed us to stay at the table for over an hour until closing because it was raining outside.

Only a 10 minute walk from Bridge of Allan town centre and only round the corner from the University of Stirling. It serves drinks and food and has an inside area and an outside area. They have a great selection of food, including pizzas, bao buns, burgers, steaks and everything you’d expect. The fish tacos are incredible… They serve breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. The drinks are good as well with a good selection of draught beers and cocktails. They do a £5 cocktail deal Mon-Thurs. Although I’ve never attended one, they always seem to have some events on that are bookable and look well organised and good fun. One being wine tasting, with a local retailer Woodwinter, another event I saw was Brunch Parties with a live DJ. On a scorching day the outside area is fantastic with plenty of seating and great views over Stirlings countryside. One downside is how close you are to the main road so if it’s a busy day the traffic can be quite loud but not hugely disruptive. Great pub. Definitely recommend.
