Hinterland Cafe in Perth is a fantastic spot with generous portions, an excellent menu, and some of the loveliest staff around. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly service that makes you feel right at home.
The menu offers a great variety of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Whether you’re after a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch, the portions are impressively large—perfect for those who love a good, filling meal.
With its welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive staff, Hinterland Cafe is an absolute must-visit in Perth. Highly recommended!
I discovered the wonderful Tea Garden at Comrie Croft when out for a drive. Easy parking. Very friendly staff. Beautifully presented, delicious cakes and bakes. Extremely clean and tidy. Lovely, lovely coffee. Great to be able to sit inside or out. The staff are wonderful with nice chat and local information. Will definitely return and can recommend highly to everyone.
Went for the lunch tasting menu and it was excellent, not a single part of the experience I can find fault with. Would highly recommend and will be going back in the future.
A cosy tea room with friendly hosts and excellent scones! Highly recommend. Scones were delicious, with cream and jam, and tea is served in nice china teapots and cups.
Would suggest booking ahead as very busy, which is a testament to how great it is.
We were lucky enough to be able to book for New Year’s Eve lunch, and what a superb experience.
The setting is magical, the food excellent and the staff excellent.
Already looking forward to when I can return.
What an amazing place, the owners Scott and Steph supported by Katie gave us an amazing experience from start to finish. We were invited into cosy and relaxed lounge area to take as much time as we liked before dinner with every drink you can imagine. We were blessed with an appearance of stags and deer outside that freely roam the estate. When we decided to move into the restaurant Steph the chefs cooking - wow !!!!!- every chosen and surprise course was incredible. We’ve eaten out a lot but nothing compared to the quality of the cooking here - it all worked so well. Their thoughtfulness and inclusivity when it came to my wife’s gluten free alternatives was the best we’ve experienced where every course, even some to nibbles had a gluten free option. Throughout the evening Katie and Scott were amazingly attentive, and Scott also gave his time to educate and allow us to try some of the amazing collection of whiskeys. Blown away by the whole experience and thank you so much. There’s a station just outside this remote restaurant and the thought of taking a sleeper up for a few days is one we’ve started looking into already.
Popped in today for lunch. Not knowing Creiff we were not sure where to choose, but the temporary traffic lights stopped us in front of here, and the deal was done. Lovely bright room cosy atmosphere and superb food. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Would definitely return if back in the area.
What a gem of a Cafe! My wife and I have been to this Cafe a few times and on each occasion have been delighted with the service and excellent tasty food. We have tried the soups, casserole, muffins, brownies and sandwiches which are all absolutely delicious 😋 Nicola, James and Elsie are superb hosts and provide a Cafe with charm, friendly atmosphere and great fare 🙏👍😃
Fantastic lunch yesterday at Kaoglen restaurant. Food was excellent, staff were fantastic. Started with Brushetta followed by the Piri Piri chicken burger which was delicious, my wife had the carbonara and said it was one of the best she’s eaten. Fantastic views from the restaurant and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back and can highly recommend
Cannot fault the pizza - it’s delicious! Nice staff and a good service.
Loses a few stars as it’s not dependable. Don’t get yourself excited for a pizza takeaway in Crieff as good chance it’ll be closed. Devastating. Closed more than it’s open.
I haven’t had such a tasty well made sandwich like the one I had today in a very long time! It was so full of ingredients but didn’t fall to bits due to the high quality amazing bread used. My husband said the same, he also had an amazing piece of carrot cake. Lovely staff and wee dogs, was amazed ours settled quickly as she’s normally super anxious with other dogs coming up to her but she was totally fine with them. Will defo pop back in next time we take a drive out.
Wandering around whilst my wife stranded a lunchtime meeting today & dropped upon this gem.
A glass of Portuguese Pinot Noir served at a perfect temperature and a cheese board of exceptional quality made killing time an absolute pleasure.
Nice little menu and could easily spend many hours in here.
Thankyou
Popped in for lunch when passing. Far better than adequate, lovely soup, good coffee, tempting bakes, pleasant staff, nice ambience, clean toilets, good value.
