The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant in Perth & Kinross

What a fabulous experience! Everything - food, service, ambience just exceptional. As every one of the 15 courses was presented, it became the favourite until we accepted that it was impossible to choose between such innovative and tasty dishes. The service was attentive and friendly but unobtrusive - a perfect balance. We enjoyed the wine pairing and loved the amazing sweets which came with the coffee - such a fun way of serving them and melt in the mouth chocolates. As would be expected of Lalique, the restaurant is a stunning space. It is absolutely clear why they have gained 2 Michelin stars. We will now start saving up to return!

My main 60th birthday treat from the husband loved up to the promise and speculation. It had everything from lovely staff where nothing was too much trouble even phoning beforehand to see if we didn't like anything, to the drama of mixing at the table. So well deserving of it's 2 stars. Each course was well thought out executive superbly with lovely matching paired wines. There were so many highlights from the tattie scone, the absolutely awesome sweetcorn pasta to the complex and interesting Yuzu marmalade. It's an experience I will never forget thank you all.

The restaurant is a delight in every way, excellent service, tastefully decorated surroundings and as for the tasting menu, just wow. The matched wine pairing was excellent, and unusually the nonalcoholic drinks pairing was devine, so much thought and effort had been put into the drinks meaning that my wife did not feel left out and second best. I couldn’t fault a course or element of each dish, everything was beautifully presented and delicious. My wife is seriously allergic to oysters and scallops and avoids spoots too just incase, the substitutes were perfect too. It is not cheap to eat here, I didn’t expect it to be, an occasional treat for us but worth every penny.

We had vouchers since last Christmas as this was somewhere we hadnt been before. Took a bit of organizing as there isnt any onsite accommodation but once that was sorted (stayed at the superb Merlindale B&B). What a stunning building the restaurant is in, the restaurant itself, the bar and coffee area, absolutely beautiful. Amazing dining experience. Had been for lunch previously but dinner was an out of this world experience. Food was amazing as was the staff and cannot wait to return. One Michelin star seems a bit mean as it could rival many two stars.

This restaurant is an absolute gem in Scotlands dining experience. I ate at a three Michelin star restaurant in London the week before but this was on a par if not better, staff excellent and wine lovely. Great night out.

My wife and I ate here today and I would say that it was the best lunch I have ever tasted in 69 years ! Having read reviews of this restaurant I’d thought it must be style over substance but there was NOTHING I could fault from the minute we arrived until the minute we left , I will not attempt to describe the outstanding flavours, presentations and amazingly knowledgeable staff. Yes, it was expensive but in our opinion it was top drawer..thank you to all and we hope to see you again .

Truly exceptional fine dining experience. Beautiful surroundings, impeccable service from really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Wonderful experience for a special occasion. We stayed overnight at Merlindale in Crieff which was also outstanding. Highly recommend.

A very special lunch. The place has a star, so there are expectations, and that means the staff need to be as good as the food. The food was exceptional, particularly the local Wagyu Tartare. Nicely presented with a crisp accompaniment (Think a refined version of chipsticks!) which gave a lovely contrasting texture. To be honest, though, the staff were memorable in their own right. Friendly, knowledgeable and there when you wanted them, invisible otherwise. They talked me through a flight of their whiskies in the lounge later. This was a lunch, but we will be back for a dinner, once we've saved a bit!

Food was tremendous, we went to Lalique for a special birthday and were not disappointed. The sweet cabinet was amazing!

Heard great things so decided to drop in for lunch. Great welcome, beautiful and relaxed feeling room, quite smart, lovely space. The best of service paired with outstanding food, what’s not to like! A meal that we will remember for a very long time. Look forward to returning for the tasting menu at night but would happily pop in for a bowl of salt and malt chips anytime!

The restaurant has the most beautiful setting, you walk through the distillery yard with the burn running alongside, seeing all the barrels and even the resident cats made an appearance. The restaurant is beautiful inside, so cosy and welcoming with a great array of drinks. We started with a lovely champagne before our wine pairing. The food was incredible, the bread is to die for!! Very creative and as someone with an allergy I never know what I’m getting, but I had my own menu which was great! My alternatives were as amazing as the menu, I didn’t feel like I missed out at all (I’m often left with a tomato)! The staff were amazing, so helpful and attentive. A truest lovely evening out, we’ll definitely be back.

We had a very nice tour of the distillery followed by a tasting of 3 of their whiskeys in the bar. And we were lucky to have a reservation for dinner at the Lalique restaurant. What an amazing experience this was!! The menu is absolutely wonderful and the wine pairing by Julien, the head sommelier, is excellent - it complements the food so well. Service is smooth and contributes to a great evening.

Beautiful restaurant and a well deserved Michelin Star 🌟 The staff were impeccable, professional and very welcoming. The ambience was stunning. The food was outstanding. We just had 5 different starters as a light lunch as we had reservation for dinner in hotel later.
