Wandering around whilst my wife stranded a lunchtime meeting today & dropped upon this gem. A glass of Portuguese Pinot Noir served at a perfect temperature and a cheese board of exceptional quality made killing time an absolute pleasure. Nice little menu and could easily spend many hours in here. Thankyou

Finally managed to drag a friend here that hadn't had the pleasure of seeing the Gin Thistle yet...and she wasn't disappointed! The service was 5* as always (big thank you to Laura) and Stuart is always the perfect host. Highly recommend to ask them about local gins when you go, or their cocktails. There is always something unique and different here.

Had the cheeseboard/anti pasti platter, it was divine, plenty of food, beautifully presented and really tasty. Was a solo visitor and the staff were so welcoming. Wine was very good and comes by bottle or glass for them all. A small but tasteful menu. Decor is lovely, music excellent and not loud. Dogs welcome, toilet immaculate. Can't praise it enough!

1st off I’d say book if you want to come here, especially on a weekend. It’s not too big and it can fill up quick. This was my second visit and again was amazing. Our waitress Laura was lovely and knowledgable on the drinks they serve and what we could try. I highly recommend the cocktails. From what I can tell all the cocktails are fresh made and equally as delicious. The food is also lovely. I’d say a snack type more than a sit down meal place. I can’t wait to come back

Second visit didn’t disappoint. We ordered tea, coffees and scones. The fruit scones were warm and slightly toasted - DELICIOUS!! Water and biscuits for our collie was a nice touch too. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Definitely recommend!

Lovely wee pit stop before lunch. Hummus was amazing, and very fresh crudités too. Hubby enjoyed his coffee and cake.

Lovely, dog friendly bar with a very welcoming owner and good selection of nibbles. Water and treats provided for our dog.

Just moved to Auchterarder and delighted to have found this place. Not only are dogs allowed, they get some bones on a plate of their own. My friend and I had two cocktails each and shared nachos. Fabulous all round. Will be back.

The Gin thistle has quickly became one of my favourites bars, from the decor, service and drinks there isn't a single thing I could fault, staff were all welcoming and helpful. I've had my fair share of cocktails, Including cocktail trees here and haven't been disappointed. Huge range of cocktails and Great prices aswell! Wouldn't normally consider Auchterarder for drinks but this has totally converted me! Well done team gin thistle!

My wife and I popped into the gin thistle for a refreshment on the way home from a meal We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere of the place. We sampled a few of the aperitifs on offer and enjoyed the experience and we met some of our friends and it seemed to turn into a party. A most enjoyable experience. I will be back

I visited the Gin Thistle with my parents and my ten year old son early evening and it was LOVELY! I had a gin followed by a wine, Im not actually a gin drinker but it was DELICIOUS! my son ordered a juice and nachos and the poor sod barely got any of them because they were so good that the three grown ups devoured them! The staff were lovely, its a small intimate space which adds to the charm and I can't wait to return! Recently found out they do gift vouchers too so guess what everyone is getting for Christmas! Don't walk past this place, book if you can and enjoy a wonderful time! Also toilets are clean, welcoming and worth a visit after a few gins! When you visit, expect service with a smile and leaving well looked after! 😊

I visit this little gem on a regular basis. The standard of the food is excellent. I have tried stuff that I would not normally eat. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Stuart knowledge of gin is wonderful. Dogs are welcome with a drink and some free biscuits. It is recommended that you book a table as it gets full very quickly.

Wish we'd found this place earlier in our holiday. So friendly. Lovely coffee with complementary shortbread. Read through the gin menu - really good! and the cocktail menu is comprehensive. Nice sounding food. Comfortable seating - family friendly. Will definitely visit again when we're back...

This little gin bar is absolutely beautiful! Fantastic service and lovely place to be. Well decorated and wonderful cocktails. Would highly recommend and would go back! Manager was lovely very accommodating and knew his stuff very warming with our 7 year old.

Stopped here a while ago on a afternoon while waiting to get into our hotel. Nice friendly place with mixture of locals and visitors. My wife particularly liked the couple of well made cocktails that she tried, especially the 'Thistleberry' We'll be back next time...
