What a delightful little place , I liked you can be sitting at a table but not too close to anyone else , food was very good , nice friendly staff , would love to go back when it’s colder and the log stove is on …

A lovely and homely place with a great selection of cakes, proper soup your granny would make, and yummy sandwiches/toasties. The only suggestion I would make is maybe a larger portion for the kids' sandwich option as it seemed very small for the price. Or even keeping it the same price but adding half a wee cake. However, this wouldn't stop us from returning.

Lovely wee cafe in a pleasant location. Very nice sweet stuff, but only a small, typical, selection of savory stuff. The Bara Brith is superb, the best I've ever had, even with my experience of many many Welsh cafes!

We’ve driven past this cafe many times before and today we decided to stop for some lunch. I’m so glad we did. Had the best mushroom soup along side a coronation chicken sandwich. Was beautiful and filling. Great value for money, lovely friendly staff, happy to let dogs in. Also a good range of gluten free cakes. We’ll worth a visit.

The Walk in Cafe Spittalfield is a true gem hidden away in the depths of Perth and Kinross the very friendly staff of Karen and the girls just enhance the experience and atmosphere of the cafe nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is a perfect way to start your day before exploring the area. The scones are homemade as well as the delicious cakes especially the carrot cake which is truly divine. Homemade jams are served with the scones which we were also able to buy pots of as it was scrumptious. We enjoyed our numerous visits to the cafe including Maverick and would tell anyone that a visit to the cafe is a must on your to do list.

Stopped here on the way home from the Cairngorms. We have a little dog who was made very welcome. We had coffee and blueberry scones which were really delicious. Our dog also got some complimentary oatcakes, as they had run out of dog biscuits! How nice was that! The cafe has a lovely atmosphere, the log burner was on which was great as it was a bit chilly outside. We were made to feel so welcome, I think it’s one of the nicest wee cafes we’ve been to in a while. Great find, we’ll definitely be back when in the area.

This is a great place to stop off on a cycle ride and the cafe has brought new life to the village. It has only been open a year, after being converted from an old shop/post office. Staff are very friendly and there is a good selection of home made cakes and scones. You can also get soup and bacon rolls etc. One wall of the cafe features a map of the local area and local cycle routes and walks are also displayed along with old photos of buildings and residents. The cafe also runs a book loan scheme.

My train was cancelled so I had a stroll to the town for the first time & ended up dropping by here for a drink & some grub. The guy on the bar was the owner I think & was really nice & friendly. Chatted with him as did others who came in, it seems he's like that with all customers which is good to see. I had a haggis burger which was really tasty. Whole area of the bar is nicely designed & really clean. I'll definitely stop off in Perth again and revisit this bar. Keep up the good work 👍

Years ago, I received a free lunch at this place. The man serving me could tell from my expression and mood that I had been having a very difficult day. I never got the chance to say thank you, but I still remember it well. Good deeds do not go unnoticed.
