By far the best cafe in Perth. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Always so accommodating with children. Really good value and a lovely atmosphere!

Looking for a good place for a decent lunch and found Hinterland. The coffee is amazing as are all the freshly made sandwiches we had. Can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be back for the homemade cakes which look stunning. Very reasonably priced too!

Nicely located in the centre of Perth. Quite small and noisy with tables close together. Open sandwich and toasted ciabatta presented with a small mix of peppers & rocket were OKish but nothing special. Service was efficient and pleasant. Claims to have the best flat white in Perth, and without tasting all the others I’d be happy to believe them. This is a terrific breakfast spot with a great outdoor seating area too. The breakfasts we had were excellent and the staff pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended.

Delicious simple breakfast dishes, and they catered well for my gluten intolerant wife. Coffee was great too, and service was friendly and prompt. We turned up mid morning on a Monday, by the time we left an hour later there were more tables starting to be used so perhaps best to go earlier, before any rush!

I just wanted to say how amazing all the staff were today. All of them were so friendly and kind despite being run off their feet. It was an absolute pleasure to visit. The food and coffee was excellent. My 18yr old son has learning disability and didn’t want to order the remaining soup flavour- but no problem!! the waitress went and asked another (regular) customer who’d just ordered the last tomato soup if they would swap to the other flavour so my son ended up having his beloved tomato soup! It is those little gestures that mean so much to us as a family with someone with an invisible disability. I was extremely touched .

Stopped for a morning coffee on advice from tourist information which was a great decision. Fantastic coffee and friendly staff. Oat milk latte and cappuccino both great and tap water on table as you arrive. Spot on place for a hot drink and the cakes looked lovely!
