Made a booking for a large group of 16. I was quite specific about table setting as with a group that size you can feel quite separated at a long table. The staff were understanding and completely accommodating to our needs. Received a call on the day to further confirm.
Arrived and everything was as discussed. We arrived early and had a drink outside in the extensive outdoor area which was beautifully decorated with lights, sofa sets and artificial grass.
Our server was lovely and so attentive as the party came in at different times, she was right on hand to offer drinks and take any orders, never had to look for someone.
Food choice was excellent but not overwhelming with a good selection of traditional and less traditional choices. Every single person in the group enjoyed their meal. No complaints. We were able to keep our table for the evening and had a wonderful time.
This was my first time here and I will defiantly be back to try other things on the menu. Cajun Chicken Salad and Agenda Chicken were stand out choices.

I’ve been here 9 month now and would not want to go to any other hotel, staff, food, fantastic defo recommend this hotel to my business colleagues & family & friends keep up the fantastic work 🙌 much love from the Mickster 🙏
We went to this place after a lovely walk on the coastal path. It's a good place to enjoy a sunny day outside, having a good meal at the tables outside. The place is beautiful, the food is good. The service could be improved a little bit as we waited a while to be served because the waiters forgot to bring the order a few times.
We opted for here for lunch after visiting nearby Kellie Castle. Quirky decor and lots of tables inside and out. It seems that being attached to the chocolate shop adds a premium to the prices. Our food and drinks were tasty enough, but £10 more than we paid for lunch a few days later at a café down the road
We booked a private dinner party here for a work night out. It was the perfect venue - really cosy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was incredible! They were able to cater for everyone, including delicious vegan options. There were clear plates all round - everyone commented on how good the food was. It's been weeks and I'm still thinking about the gnocchi I had. Can't wait to visit again, highly recommend!
Went last minute with a group of 10 people and 2 dogs after another booking in the area had fallen through, they happily sat us for food and drinks. Really nice staff and good food with something on the menu for everyone. They were very happy to have the dogs and brought them water.

I took three friends from France there, expecting an enjoyable evening. What a disappointment! Although the food was nice, we will definitely not be going back. Slow service, or even nonexistent service, as our empty plates were left in front of us until we left... as we didn't bother about desert.
Talk of Scottish hospitality!
Way to much butter on the rolls, size of product is very small considering it's the most expensive bakers in town as well, so you pay more for less! Excellent deal for the business not so for the consumer, the taste of the food tho can't be faulted it is delicious I give them that one, even better than baynes on some items. Coffees are actually worse than Greg's and that's hard to do! As Greg's is probably the worst in all categories, we'll almost all as there coffee is actually half decent where as again fishers offers the smallest coffee cups at a higher price which taste worse 🤣🤣, all in all I visit rarely for a lovely cake or a decent pie but 9 out of 10 times il walk the extra 4 mins up the road to baynes.
