Stayed for 3 nights for work. Decent hotel, small, not brand new but not ancient, nice staff, nice brekkie. It's a little bit out of town, but St Andrews is small. I could hear the person in the room upstairs walking around, but not a massive issue. Thanks for the stay!

We slept here. there was a roof, walls, and two beds! the window didn’t open but not to fear, the fresh air was… filtered throughout the room. hmm. next time i’d like the fine employees of the premier inn to give us some shampoo! a highlight of the room was the connecting room door which didn’t open. we were hoping to make some new friends, but were immediately disappointed by its locked status. we are grateful to premier inn for housing us but would not stay there ever again!

We were happy to find a more or less affordable hotel in st andrews and overall, it's definitely fine to stay here. However, we unfortunately had a few occurrances, which led to three stars. One of our rooms had a pretty moldy looking paste at the window. That's because the windows can't be opened, and the ac turns off when you leave the room because no card is inserted. Also, when checking in, we didn't find anyone for a whole because he had somewhere sitting in a back room. So overall, it's a good affordable option based on what you pay, and I would also come back, but expect a little more service and look into the details

Great value, albeit you have to be selective as to the time of the month / year you go. Breakfast was surprisingly good and great value.

The Premier Inn in St Andrews a reasonable deal for someone staying in the area for golf or for the University. It's a reasonable (15 minutes) walk to South Street, where the restaurants and bars start, but a tougher walk if you're going to carry clubs down to the Links. Parking is ample, and it's near M&S and Aldi, so don't worry if you've forgotten a snack or something. The rooms are clean if basic, the eating area is small. Price is the best reason to stay here rather than something closer to town center.

The food was very good if you don't mind waiting over 2 hours to get served. The manager did not even care about the wait. We had a reservation at eight but didn't get our dinner till after ten. What a way to ruin a gray day.
