Excellent hotel. Nice cooked breakfast. Pleasant efficient staff. Great for access to St Andrews golf course.

You get what expect staff are excellent , but not good value for money (no mushypeas with Fish & Chips??) We only stay here if there is nowhere else close (there are often cheaper and better places). Staff good. Mean "free" Burns night treat -only enough for 1, but there were 2 of us. WiFi is poor & a rip off!

Typical premier inn Room and breakfast as you'd expect. All good. Parking on site. Bit of a walk (10-15 mins) to town. Staff especially guy on reception/restaurant exceptional. Friendly, helpful, professional. I'd left something in room after checkout - he called to let me know and helped me get item back. I also saw him go over and above to sort a family out with a taxi booking.

I booked this for an overnight business trip. Was slightly worried given some of the reviews. However, it was very pleasant. Room clean and tidy. I was originally given a 1st floor room but the elevator wasnt working, i asked if i could change to ground floor and this was done without aby hassle. Breakfast was nice although evening meal was less so but it is not a fullt staff restaurant so i wasnt too surprised. Staff very friendly but professional some wouldnt be out of place in a high end hotel. Great value for money. Will use again.

Stayed for 3 nights for work. Decent hotel, small, not brand new but not ancient, nice staff, nice brekkie. It's a little bit out of town, but St Andrews is small. I could hear the person in the room upstairs walking around, but not a massive issue. Thanks for the stay!

We slept here. there was a roof, walls, and two beds! the window didn’t open but not to fear, the fresh air was… filtered throughout the room. hmm. next time i’d like the fine employees of the premier inn to give us some shampoo! a highlight of the room was the connecting room door which didn’t open. we were hoping to make some new friends, but were immediately disappointed by its locked status. we are grateful to premier inn for housing us but would not stay there ever again!

We were happy to find a more or less affordable hotel in st andrews and overall, it's definitely fine to stay here. However, we unfortunately had a few occurrances, which led to three stars. One of our rooms had a pretty moldy looking paste at the window. That's because the windows can't be opened, and the ac turns off when you leave the room because no card is inserted. Also, when checking in, we didn't find anyone for a whole because he had somewhere sitting in a back room. So overall, it's a good affordable option based on what you pay, and I would also come back, but expect a little more service and look into the details

Great value, albeit you have to be selective as to the time of the month / year you go. Breakfast was surprisingly good and great value.

The Premier Inn in St Andrews a reasonable deal for someone staying in the area for golf or for the University. It's a reasonable (15 minutes) walk to South Street, where the restaurants and bars start, but a tougher walk if you're going to carry clubs down to the Links. Parking is ample, and it's near M&S and Aldi, so don't worry if you've forgotten a snack or something. The rooms are clean if basic, the eating area is small. Price is the best reason to stay here rather than something closer to town center.

Ordered a mix kebab dinner and lamb and what I ended up with was a pitted bread with more papers and onions in it than meat and I also ordered a jack potato cheese and beans and it came with not much cheese and a spoon full on beans and the potato was like a rock . Wouldn’t recommend any one to order from this take away and to top it all off the food came 37 minutes late …

I took three friends from France there, expecting an enjoyable evening. What a disappointment! Although the food was nice, we will definitely not be going back. Slow service, or even nonexistent service, as our empty plates were left in front of us until we left... as we didn't bother about desert. Talk of Scottish hospitality!
