What a great venue for a wedding, fabulous views, close to local hotels and St Andrews.
The venue is very well planned out with seperate areas for the service, eating and mingling . The staff were friendly and helpfull.
It was a great wedding in a great place
Lovely food and a very friendly young lady running the cafe. Prices are very reasonable. This is a review for the same address but new owners and called now callef Chinwags
Had to wait about 10 mins for the food everyone in line very friendly and the fish and chips were amazing and not expensive ! Worth the drive from Kinross!
Back for the summer and playing golf at Scoonie. The bar and restaurant still offering good food and great prices.
Staff always helpful and provide a good service.
Plenty to choose from on the menu from a sandwich to fish and chips, all made fresh to order. And if you want a bit of this or that they are quite happy to do that.
definetly worth visiting if you are in the area.
Called in at the 9 Shore St, Anstruther bakery shop of GH Barnett. Lots of calories to chose from. Having made my decision my wife noticed a slice of Tipsy cake. Childhood memories. Treat all those many years ago was Tipsy cake surrounded by marzipan. Never see it now. This Tipsy cake was made with icing but its the sponge you really want to taste. I have now decided Anstruther should be known for Tipsy cake rather than chips. I'll be back.
We visited on Saturday as a birthday treat as we had seen fantastic reviews online. We ordered waffle Sundays and milkshakes. It took nearly 15 minutes for member of staff to take our order, and mick walked away before I had finished. 2 of our 3 milkshakes arrived, and they were tasty but no where near as impressive as the pictures online - they had no cream or toppings. Waffles were made and brought over by Jordon, who is fantastic! Spoke with us and apologised for the missing drink which he then went to make. Mick brought this over, dumped it on the table and walked off to chat to a friend within seconds.
Jordon and your food are great - other members of staff not so much. I think it should be clearer that the fancily decorated milkshakes pictured online are not what come as standard.

Wednesday Night Curry night!
Went in for the first curry night! And the Tikka Masala is out of this world!đđ
Perfect sauce to chicken ratio and the half chips half rice was great!
Chicken pakora was so delicious and not greasy at all! Home made chilli sauce topped it off! 10/10.
Will defiantly be back :p
We booked the bistro for a family gathering to celebrate our surprise wedding and were extremely satisfied with all aspects.
We had a table in the bright airy conservatory area overlooking the gardens and it wasn't too busy at that point.
The gardens were a bit sad looking in places but we got some nice photos taken.
The food was excellent, good size portions and value for money and the children all found stuff they enjoyed.
Cocktails from the bar were fab and all in all we were pleased with our visit. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful
Dropped in to this excellent bakers for a top up of calories , quite a few things to choose from the hot plate and settled for a drink and Stovies . Just the ticket to keep me going the rest of the day. The place was very busy as they have closed their other cafe at 2 Drurie street . The shop itself had a great selection of cakes and pies and the craft butcher has the best meat in Leven . I will be back next time I am in the area .
