Wednesday Night Curry night! Went in for the first curry night! And the Tikka Masala is out of this world!😍😍 Perfect sauce to chicken ratio and the half chips half rice was great! Chicken pakora was so delicious and not greasy at all! Home made chilli sauce topped it off! 10/10. Will defiantly be back :p

Came here yesterday and was the only customer. It was my first visit. Lovely decor. Felt clean and fresh. Xmas music blaring from a giant tv was off putting though. I ordered a vegetarian Sunday roast. It was very nice but obviously cooked from frozen. Friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Nice and clean . Friendly waitress. Food was good. Not a great choice of wine .. not a relaxing atmosphere. A place to eat but not spend any time relaxing afterwards.. hopefully in time they will change to more comfortable relaxing furniture and a warmer colour scheme.. would recommend for the food and value.

Been meaning to try here for ages, just haven't had a chance yet. Today, late afternoon we managed to go. We arrived it was not too busy (in between lunch and dinner) but it certainly got a lot busier whilst we were in. Kids had chicken nuggets, and macaroni, which were decent portions. I had nachos to start & hubby had prawns. Both very tasty. I had fajitas for my main, which were absolutely amazing, so delicious. I did not expect them to come already filled, but I did really enjoy them. Hubby had Balmoral chicken, and ate the lot. The food is cooked to order and not freezer to fryer rubbish. Everyone cleared their plates. Sadly we did not have room for pudding, but I will definitely try one the next time. The place is clean. The staff were friendly. I particularly liked that Scott (owner or manager - I heard someone else saying his name) asked if that was the 1st time we had been in, and asked for feedback which is a great thing to do. My only feedback was jalapenos with the nachos, I know not everyone likes them though. Scott said this is something he will look to add as an option. I think the Area has a lack of decent eating/dining venues or none that I would particularly recommend or go to. Wallaces has definitely got it right. Good food, reasonably priced. We will Absolutely be back. Thanks again.

Popped in on Saturday night for a bite to eat at this recently opened bar & restaurant. Warmly welcomed by the male manager (sorry didn't get his name). He was very friendly and took time to chat throughout our meal. The girl server was friendly too. Had a taste of the haggis bon bons that my partnered ordered and they were yummy. Haggis encased in proper chip shop tasting batter. My main was beef lasagne and just to my liking. The other half had fajitas which he enjoyed - nice spice to them. Then the desserts.....DELICIOUS. I could happily eat the homemade cheesecake all day long and the brownie tasted great too (I like my cakes lol). The surroundings are simplistic but fantastic value for money for tasty homemade food. Great to have this on our doorstep. We will be back!

We have visited a couple times now and we have to say we have been very impressed. The food is always amazing. The male manager is always a delight. The last time we attended we felt the special was a bit on the expensive side, however was worth the price it was to die for.

First time visit this evening for meal. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the food and its presentation. I had sea bass with seasonal vegetables, rosemary potatoes and lemon butter sauce. The fish and veg were cooked to perfection, none of your frozen deep fried rubbish here. It was beautifully presented. Hubby had chicken fajitas, with usual sauces, didn't come with usual tortillas seperate, but they were incorporated into the dish. He really enjoyed his meal. Sweets, eton mess, again lovely presentation, and honeycomb cheescake, also delicious and lovey presentation. To be honest the decor etc., wasn't quite to my taste, more cafe style than restaurant, however the food and service more than makes up for that. And as I say it's only my personal taste and I would definitely return. A welcome addition to Levens eating out experiences, I hope it does well.

Went for the first time for something to eat. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. My husband had chicken curry and I had steak pie all homemade. The portion was great, we couldn't finish the plateful, no matter how hard we tried. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants classic homemade food, not premade and reheated like others in the area.

After being open only a week, Scott has got his restaurant just right. Great family food at a really good price, ensuring that if you go to Wallaces everyone can afford to eat out. Large portions of nice hot wholesome food, i had the chicken strips for the starter this was big enough for a main course for me, the other half had the haggis bonbons and declared them absolutely fantastic. I had the chicken curry for my main , this is served with chips or rice and i asked for half and half which was no problem, this tasted like a genuine chinese curry beautiful succulent chicken with a nice spicy sauce. The other half had the home made burger totally loved it, a good moist beef pattie seasoned nicely with a side of some excellent onion rings. There is not one thing about this meal we can fault, a more attentive host you could not ask for. Scotts got his formula just right and i hope Wallaces is about for a long time to come.

Sushi was not cold and nothing really tasted like sushi from any of the places I've ever had it (30-40 times in the last 10 years). Imitation krab used as well instead of real crab. Haggis roll was alright, as was the tempura, but definitely not going back. Quality was less than supermarket sushi.

Firstly, many thanks for hosting my wife’s 70th birthday party on Saturday 9 November. Everyone that was present (32 people) was full of praise for the quality of the food, the service and the superb venue for such a party. We cannot praise your restaurant highly enough. Many thanks again and we will return.

Have been a handful of times over the years and always enjoyed it. Went again today and it was absolutely faultless. Not a thing I thought could be improved on any of the dishes or the service!
