Dropped in to this excellent bakers for a top up of calories , quite a few things to choose from the hot plate and settled for a drink and Stovies . Just the ticket to keep me going the rest of the day. The place was very busy as they have closed their other cafe at 2 Drurie street . The shop itself had a great selection of cakes and pies and the craft butcher has the best meat in Leven . I will be back next time I am in the area .

I'm a key worker during lockdown and I'm glad Stuarts has remained open for the majority of the time. Great place to get breakfast or dinner, they even made me coffee even though the machine was broken. You can also get really fresh food from their butchery too. At time of writing, during lockdown, only 2 people were allowed in the shop at the same time and you had to wash your hands with sanitizer (supplied) before being served. Thanks must go to the staff who were polite, prompt and a good laugh during this nonsense, THANK YOU from a very hungry key worker for remaining open.

this is a great little traditional bakers shop with delicious products . We enjoyed the pies cakes and scotish crumpets we bought here and especially the lemon iced ginger bar cake we bought .

I popped in here with my wife late yesterday afternoon just before heading home. My wife had a coffee and I wanted to sample a strawberry tart. Her coffee was nice and hot whilst my strawberry tart was just delicious. We were very impressed by the café interior which looked modern, was clean and cosy too. The spacious café is hidden away in the back corner and can't be seen unless you enter the shop and go up to the section for sit-in ordering. As well as being a bakers, this branch of Stuart's also has a butcher section. TIP - Their bean and potato pies are also delicious too. Overall, to sum up, I like Stuart's food, this particular café was very nice but unfortunately like many of Stuart's shops the staff are not very welcoming and this is the only reason for my average rating.

This is the best coffee shop in St Andrews - but only in terms of the coffee and the food. I love the drinks and the bagels especially are *french kiss* but I would love to be able to come and sit, and enjoy my bagel at a table. The issue is that the already limited seating is taken up by students who have pretty much always finished their drinks. I really think it would be a good idea to have maybe half of the seats reserved for people who just want to come and sit for 10 minutes to have a drink because the shop itself is so nice and clearly very well finished. As a student myself I know there are plenty of study spaces in town so a study free area surely wouldn't meet much resistance? I for one would visit the cafe much more often, instead of just for takeaways. That said, the staff are amazing and the coffee is superb.

My husband and I visited here today and ordered a cup of spicy lentil soup and a sandwich cost £10 each. The food arrived and my cup of soup was only half full and my husband's 3/4 full.I took my soup back and was told you only get one ladle.I said it should be a cupful as stated but was told no.I went back to my seat but was livid as I hate to be ripped off.I asked for the manager and the guy on the till said I will give you more soup which he did.The soup was lovely and the sandwiches also good made with lovely bread. The guy came over to take the plates and said he was sorry he upset me and I said you didn't upset me and I had been annoyed at being done.He apologised and offered me a free lunch.I advised I am only here for the day.The next thing he was back with 2 sweets in a box with forks and napkins to eat later.I thanked him for the cakes. We had them with coffee later on and delicious. I don't know the guys name but you have restored my faith in humanity and the cafe.We will visit again and encourage others to do so also.Thank you for your understanding.

Such a lovely evening with food and drinks. Our second and we will be back! Food is fantastic, great menu, Craig, Alison and all the friendly people you have there makes this the best pub that we have ever visited. Thank you for remembering us and for your warm welcome back. Anyone visiting the area, you must visit The Golf Inn, it really is perfect! See you soon 😊
