Great set meal.. Haddock Chips, Peas pot of tea, bread and butter. .. and I saved the best till last...homemade tartar sauce ,absolutely delicious. All at a very fair price. Staff were very friendly and polite

Went to sample the carvery and it was very pleasant. We both had beef and turkey which was nicely cooked and there was a good choice of potatoes and vegetables. Portions were generous and service very good.

Had a few great pints staff were lovely and friendly 😊 10/10

Excellent food. Great staff. Recommended to us by another hotel guest and, fortunately, had managed to book a table the day before as they do appear to be extremely busy.

Bought takeaway - mixed Pakora, Chicken Passanda and Lamb Madras. Ready in 20 minutes to collect. Staff very friendly and food was excellent and good value. Only visiting Cambeltown but would certainly use this place again 👍

Had been recommended this place by one of the locals,was not disappointed, nice in door and on street seeing area, staff very helpful and friendly, worth a wee visit if hungry and visiting oban 👍

Very dog friendly. The food was good with friendly staff.lovely views from the decking and inside the restaurant. Cosy and warm with the open fire burning away.

Very pleasant 2 day stay in this hotel. Nice clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Staff were super friendly and very helpful, especially with knowledge of the island, and we send our Thanks to them all.

Going to concert. Busy day as lights were being turned on too. Could get a table here. And it was great. The choice for gluten free was excellent. Fantastic salad bowl.

Restaurant, staff, food and owner all fantastic. Felt extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Peter, the owner, was perfect host and looked after us despite being full that evening. He even showed a couple of our group his extensive whisky collection which was above and beyond! Public bar is another story. We moved through after dinner and a couple of the patrons decided to make really off remarks about one of our group who's in his 80's. The comments were made deliberately in earshot and were derogatory, spiteful and totally unacceptable. Got the feeling they were designed to be incendiary and to provoke us. Really not pleasant. To be fair to management they weren't aware and obviously didn't condone but not an experience I'd wish to repeat. One of the guys involved liked everyone to know he works at one of the better known distilleries on the island - I'm sure he's a real poster boy for his employers!
