Lovely wee find while visiting. Great homely food we left with full bellies and reasonably priced too.

Food is good, bière as well. And the view is veriy nice

Friendly staff and dog friendly lovely doggy menu to the young lady who I spoke to yesterday yes we did go back later and had a cuppa and the homemade cakes I had the chocolate and Tony had the lemon both delicious and this morning before we left to go home we had a coasters breakfast wow it was huge our Cooper had bacon and sausages he woofed it down highly recommended it and best of all they take cash

Up here for a week, been here many times previously and seriously recommend a visit. Food and service is first class and prices are extremely reasonable.

This is a great little restaurant / bistro. Pleasant welcoming staff, good selection on all menus. Had a lovely breakfast served by a competent young waitress, food was good, hot and ample portions. Lovely start to the day. Also had a fantastic lunch here as well. Again good number of choices on the menu. Soup of the day was definitely home made and delicious. Boil bag seafood selection a pure joy to eat, also made on premises. Recommend the in house made sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. At lunch my wife had a main roast beef dinner which she really enjoyed, good food, hot and ample serving. For sweet she had cheese cake, also an ample portions with fresh cream. Definitely a place to visit for a meal while in Oban. All round 100% satisfaction.

Visited for lunch after a boat ride and what a great find! Server was lovely and food was excellent and very quick. I had the smoked salmon salad (was a starter but had as a main, which was told was no problem) and such a surprise to say it was possibly the best smoked salmon I’d had on our trip! Would recommend to anyone visiting

Great breakfast with wonderful service. Salmon was excellent. Manager has great sense of humor. We liked it so much, we went back the next day and thoroughly enjoyed it again! Great views of the waterfront.

I would give more stars if I could. We came across this place looking for good food. Fresh, tasty dishes. Very nice staff, clean place. Also very helpful. My son is autistic and needs to sit in a quiet place. The staff found a suitable table for him. They were very nice, patient and understanding. We felt very good and had a delicious meal. We will definitely come back to this place.

2 very happy nights at Coasters, the Langustine,Crab, Prawn, Mussels bowl was fabulous. I have waited a long time to have this I was not disappointed. The staff were amazing, so attentive, happy and informative, they made a good experience GREAT. Many thanks from a happy New Zealander.

Staff very busy, but still had time to make us welcome, and had us laughing all night. Food fantastic on both nights, good selection of beers. Loved the whole experience.

The mussels and the panko breaded sole fillets were amazing, also we ordered panko breaded brie as a starter ..tasted amazing. The waitress lady was super nice and there is a seaview from the bar. 5 stars 🤩⭐️✨

Brilliant breakfast. Good price and lovely staff

The restaurant was clean and food delicious. Another couple sitting inside the restaurant gave us the thumbs up to let us know it was a good place to eat so we gave it a try. The atmosphere friendly and relaxed. The waitress very helpful and cheery and we only had to wait minutes for our food. We will definitely be back.

I loved this place! 'just wanted somewhere for supper whilst passing through on a bike trip. The food and view out into the bay were very good and the service was excellent.My waitress was very friendly and efficient so special thanks to her,especially as she seemed to be covering all the tables on her own.I'd definitely recommend and will return if ever here again. Very good food & nice service! We had 3 starters and 1 main. The haggis was tasty and the duck pate was so good. Mussels were fresh and cooked deliciously! We had the steak pie for main and also enjoyed it. Would highly recommend!

We were delighted to come across Coasters Bistro & Bar while we were visiting Oban this autumn. The food is delicious, with a seasonal menu, the service flawless, the venue full of charm with a truly comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Casual dining taken to a high standard! After a long car journey we arrived at our to hotel to be told that there was a power outage. We had to find our own meals for that evening. After a quick Google search, we found Coasters, a phone call later we had reserved our table. They were more than happy for our three Shelties to come along too! During our visit it became our favourite place to go. Highly recommended.

Really pleasant lady on arrival attentive throughout are visit. Food was very nice and extremely reasonable compared to the other restaurants we have dined in with on holiday in Oban. The only thing that was missing was a little heat and music ☺️

Went for lunch and it was great staff very helpful great table with veiw over the bay got binocolurs from bar to use great service and the food was fabby aa well ad menu they have speicals as well you must vist when in oban will be making a spot her when back in oban 5*

We had an unexpectedly great dinner here. It's pub fare, but it's really really good pub fare! I had the steak pie and my wife had the burger and both were excellent and huge portions. The whiskey bread pudding at the end was a great way to top it off. The two ladies running the bar provided friendly and fast table service. A very enjoyable dinner.

Used to be a great wee pub but has now turned into a restaurant/ coffee shop.

We went for a drink, had a small bar but is more geared up for food and sit down meals. Can't complain though.

Excellent food and service. Went in for a drink as we were staying in the appartments next door ended up booking that night for food. Reasonably priced and plenty to choose from so much so we returned a couple of days later for more. Friendly staff and very attentive.

Menu has the usual suspects plus some very good specials. The service was super friendly. Recommended.

This was our first visit to Coasters and we absolutely loved it. It has one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had and the chips were amazing. Friendly service and atmosphere and the music is fab

Visited Oban for a few days. Coasters was a spur of the moment for dinner on the 1st day, even though we hadn't booked, was no trouble getting us a table. Food was absolutely delicious and would certainly recommend anybody to go try it

Pet friendly staff welcoming. Proper pub food at lunchtime and for family that are not sea food lovers in oban it was exactly what we would have wanted. The biscoff cheesecake special was a dream!

Food for the soul! Great food and setting directly on Oban harbor. You’ll need a reservation on the weekend but 100% worth it!! I had steak pie and my he had breaded Sole. Yummy!!

Stopped for a drink here - good selection of drinks, great vibe and just overlooking the beautiful seafront. I left my backpack here by mistake, complete with wallet, souvenirs, everything. When I came back on the next (Sunday) morning to look, the lovely staff had kept it safe for me and it was returned with everything intact. Faith in humanity restored!

I would just like to say that we went for lunch at coasters yesterday and the food was absolutely sensational. The service was so good and prices fantastic. Well will definitely be back there

Absolutely love this wonderful which we found by accident and what a find. Dinner last evening, breakfast this morning and dinner again this evening. Can’t fault a thing very friendly service and wonderful food. If my husband and I visit Oban again we will definitely return to this little gem .

Fantastic place for a meal - lovely view, tasty food, great playlist, but the star of the show was definitely Kerry! She was the only person taking orders, serving food and taking payments during a packed lunch rush, and she managed to stay on top of all that while still being one of the friendliest and most welcoming waiters I’ve ever met. 5 stars overall, and an additional 5 stars for Kerry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect pub grub. Great spot right on the esplanade with nothing too fancy but great pub style food, excellent service and a view. Recommend booking as we were lucky to get a table as walk ins. We had the breaded Brie to start and then a steak pie each. Great way to end a day after eating nothing but seafood.

Always a local favourite for freshly prepared food. Servex with a smile and a lovely view of Oban Bay if you get a table by the window. The menu is good and they also offer breakfast too.

Soggy watery scrumbled eggs and raw not fresh salmon 🍣. I refused to have it. Service was lovely tho, and git a refund

Nice food and drinks. Very sweet and helpful staff. Absolutely enjoyed our meal. Took a photo half way of my eating, and forgot to take a photo of the dessert. But it’s really very nice. 😄

The service was good, seated quickly, order taken quickly and delivered quickly. But the food, in our opinion, was not very tasty: the shrimp bowl was covered with a continuous layer of mayonnaise sauce and some other seasoning; the taste of the shrimp was almost not felt. The burger was mediocre, if we had not added a piece of cheese, it would have been just meat and a bun, the potatoes with it were not tasty at all, the cutlet itself was juicy, but if we had added cheese, tomato, cucumbers, onions, it would have been completely different case.

Fab breakfast, very good value for money & excellent soundtrack. Keep it up

Great food (burger) good service

The dinner we had here was Amazing. All of the food had so much flavor. We are from out of town but it seemed like a place where the locals go. The staff were very friendly. I have never had a sandwich quite like the chicken Ranch burger, but it was delicious! And the Mac and cheese was divine!

We decided to have dinner at Coasters and didn't regret it. Honestly, we were positively surprised. The waiter was SO friendly, and the food amazing. The chicken burger was the best I ever had.
